We had an excellent stay at Fiesta Americana. The hospitality, food, service, cleanliness and overall resort was great!! What stood out amongst all was the service. At breakfast, Gume and Rosalio knew our drink order by the end of the week and always provided the best service - it was an excellent way to start every day. Up at the Sonne Fiesta Club bar, Raphael and Nacho were amazing!!! They kept the drinks coming all day long, were super friendly and made a point to remember our names! They ensured we were happy all day long. The food was great. We enjoyed all the restaurants and the morning buffet. The Italian and Asian restaurants were our favourites. The others were good too tho! I would highly recommend the Fiesta Club Member package. The Sonne adults only private pool itself made it worth the added cost. Plus the private bar that overlooks the ocean.

Having been at this hotel for 3 nights 5 years ago we were eager to return. Well it didn't quiet live up to our expectations. First of all the staff & service are outstanding, they 100% go the extra mile if you need anything! We asked for more pillows as the ones in our room were dead, old useless. Next day we had more dead old pillows but the staff did what they could! Buy new linens! This is a very clean hotel, from poolside, all washrooms to our maid service. The morning buffet tables were cleaned so quickly & great service, thanks Leslie! What didn't match our needs was the selection of food & a la carte restaurants. For lunch you could get the usual hamburgers/hotdogs or go to the seafood restaurant where pretty much everything is deep fried. (2 restaurants, nothing healthy) Other option was the buffet that was by menu & choices are very limited. Sometimes they would have a grill set up outside for lunch, lovely fresh fish but sauced up side dishes that were so unappealing. We like to eat healthy & have dairy issues, it was a struggle to find things to eat. It is easy to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants of Italian, Mexican & Asian. Service was fantastic. We ate at the Mexican restaurant only one night, as everything had cheese. Waiter could not make any suggestions to help with the situation. The Italian (lots of cheese)& Asian restaurants were ok but we were there for 10 days & we grew tired of them. Overall this is just an average tired hotel. Location is great, easy to get to town or the Marina but I would not return because of poor sleep & food selection.

The attention to exceptional customer is off the charts. Once you experience it, you will come back. They WOW you in all things important for your stay. It’s like family. I love that play.

We came with our family and had a wonderful time at the fiesta Americana. The roof in the lobby was absolutely amazing. The grounds were beautiful. The view from my room was breathtaking. We could see whales and birds and the beautiful city lights of Puerto Vallarta. The rooms were very comfortable overall. The bed was very comfortable. However, the shower could use a deep cleaning. The staff was amazing and very helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning.Gume really took good care of us in the morning, serving us breakfast and making sure our coffee was filled. In fact, all the waiters were very friendly and nice. We enjoy dancing in the bar on Friday and Saturday night. Most of the restaurants were wonderful. The best one was the Mexican, Italian, and asian. The food at the club level pool was excellent. However, the pool side restaurant by the main pool wasn’t very good, nor was the new Mediterranean. The Mediterranean restaurant had just opened and they need to get their act together. Overall, we had a great time and we definitely will come back in the next few years.

We had a wonderful one week stay at this resort. Everything was enjoyable from the food and drinks to our spacious room with a gorgeous view. But the thing that made our holiday the best, was the staff service. The staff made sure our every need was taken care of. Huge shout outs to Veronica at cevicheria, Gume at the veranda, and Rafael at the Sonne adult pool. We will definitely visit Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta again!
