Beautiful hotel perfect location right on the beach. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly, felt safe during my stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable all with ocean views. Heads up there’s only 4 restaurants that serve the same food daily. Breakfast was the only meal that was good. Our staff Rosalio, Marlos, Gome, Veronica, & Alondra we’re perfect. Always happy to serve you.
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta is a 10/10!

We are a family of four. Our kids aged 4 and 5, and this was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta. This resort was fabulous in every way! The location, the food and, first and foremost, the people. The service was a 10/10 all the way! Our thanks to server Gume (a 43 year employee!) and the veranda team, and Jorge who leads all of social activities. These guys truly went above and beyond making sure we had an amazing stay. We can’t wait to go back!
We wish we had found this resort sooner

My wife and I spent a week at the end of March at Fiesta Americana, our first visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to return. For context, we are seniors around 80 years old and my wife has mobility problems which gives her trouble with steps or stairs. Our rooms were club level. My review will focus around those features. We have been to many resorts throughout the Caribbean and the Pacific side of Mexico, including many in the Puerto Vallarta region. FA has the best staff service that we have ever experienced. They were helpful, attentive and seemed very happy in their roles. I had read this previously in many reviews, and we were delighted to find it true. Food The food was of a high standard everywhere, and we sampled all restaurants other than the poolside grill. We particularly enjoyed the fish tacos for lunch at La Cevicheria, everything served at the Sonne Club and the ambiance of the island section in the Italian restaurant. The service at the Mexican Restaurant was outstanding, particularly from the female manager. How the staff looked after us during the darkness of earth hour+ was impressive, including lighting our way out of the restaurant with their mobile phones. Our only poor experience was at the Asian restaurant where our server seemed to have his mind elsewhere. Perhaps, he had been forced to take the unaccustomed role of waiter due to a staffing issue. However, this was the only blip in the excellent service level we experienced all week. Booking restaurant reservations was easy. A young lady sat at a desk beside the entrance to the Asian Restaurant in the lobby to take reservations for the present and the following day and was very efficient. I have been to resorts where that type of booking resulted in a 30 minute line up. That was not the case here. I was behind one person once in 7 days. Fiesta Club The Sonne Club was where we spent most of our days, relaxing under the umbrellas, enjoying the sunshine, occasional dips in the pool and the excellent service provided by staff, particularly Rafael. He undertakes his role as more of a host, than that of a server, constantly trying to make our stay more enjoyable, even at one stage, introducing us to some other guests. The Sonne Club provides everything you need on site including towel and drink service, washrooms and a quite extensive menu from its own grill. The club bar, the Mond, over La Cevicheria, gives a spectacular evening view of the bay and the lights of Puerto Vallarta. The adjacent club restaurant, Asur, provided an intimate setting and the service was excellent, almost too attentive. Room. Our room was a 7th floor club room. It had a wonderful ocean view and the balcony was a great place to sit any time of the day. It was attentively cleaned daily and the mini fridge refilled with pop, beer and water of differing types. The safe was not operational when we arrived, but a call to the desk produced a maintenance person, within minutes, who replaced some parts and had it operational again. The air conditioning worked very well day and night. Mobility. One of the reasons we chose this resort was accessibility. We were able, by ramps or elevators, to go to every corner of the resort without encountering a single step. The only exception would be the pools. Getting in the pool at the Sonne Club involved going up and down about four steps, with a handrail provided, and it appeared to be the same in the main pool. The main pool had a sloped entry in the child section, but that was understandably sectioned off for infant safety from the rest of the main pool. The two ramps from the lobby to the pool area, which are side by side, one straight, the other curving, were both quite steep. This caused us little problem, but it may require quite an effort to go up with a manually powered wheelchair, and good brakes going down. However, I am sure one of the helpful staff members would be happy to assist if asked. Differences from some other resorts. The major difference we found from most other resorts was the lack of information provided about the resort. Examples would be some of the following: 1. No map giving the layout of the resort showing what was where. 2. No app giving the above information, facilities hours or reservations and activities. 3. Numerous wall switches in the room, that the bellman, who did the room orientation, could not explain, and some I still had not worked out after 7 days. 4. Our door lock kept locking us out and this continued after getting the cards reprogrammed. Until I worked out that, after the opening click, you had to lift the door handle up before pressing it down to open. This may, of course, just been our door. 5. A room telephone with lots of complicated looking buttons, but no guide saying what they were for or how to use them. There were other similar things. That said, the staff bent over backwards to help if you asked them for directions or other help, so these are not complaints, just differences from what we are used to at other resorts. Summary. My wife and I loved this resort. We intend to return, but only for one week visits. A longer stay would need variety in the way of outside trips for which the resort is ideally situated. However, having experienced many trips around Puerto Vallarta in our younger years, we presently only wish for sun, sand and service and we found that Fiesta Americana had those in spades.

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was family friendly. The beach front breakfast was delicious. The value can’t be beat.
