I will take my time to tell you about my experience and the reasons why I don't give it 5 stars. I think that for a tourist, reviews are important when making a decision about where to go. The place is very nice, facing the sea, the staff is very professional, friendly, our first day they had a white sunset party where they played Bossa Nova style music while watching the sunset, it was very nice I even think they should promote it more so that more guest attended. I have been to other all-inclusives and so far this is the one that offers the most entertainment both day and night. It seemed to me that the food at the buffets is not hot and sometimes even cold, the options for children's food are not healthy at all, chicken fingers, French fries and similar things, all fried, etc. When I asked at the reception if the gym had activities, they gave me the wrong information and they told me no, but always check the board that is near one of the pools or even in the gym, they have yoga on the beach, spinning, etc

The staff wasn't as cordial as staff at other resorts. Alejandra, waitress at the swim up bar, was AMAZING. The other staff, not so much. Supposed to have a "personal" RCI concierge and she didn't get in touch with us until day 5. TERRIBLE. Hard to get restaurant reservations. We had a 2 bedroom room which was great and our view was amazing but the staff issues is why we gave a poor review.

Stayed at the marival emotions for a week. I’m blown away by how amazing the staff and crew is here. Food is great, rooms are cozy and clean. Staff were very attentive, so friendly and helpful. Charly was fantastic. He was so personable and delightful. He was continuously going above and beyond for staff and guests. The resort offered a lot of different activities to accommodate everyone. I personally really enjoyed the morning yoga sessions with nrg2go on the beach. The classes were diverse, challenging but also relaxing. Highly recommend staying at the Marival and will be returning! Thank you for the beautiful stay.

Absolutely fabulous. The FOOD was amazing. With lots of variations, both for the adventurer & those of the faint heart (too chicken to try!) Carlos, & his dance troupe were excellent. The pirate's show was the favorite for both my husband. Though the other in-house entertainment shows were also terrific.The Mexican Fiesta evening was, again delightful: a great deal of effort is put in by the staff of the resort. They work very hard! The kids events were great! Though I'd prefer there not be a competition. They compete in school, sports & life....not on vacation. The Mexican pinata was fun as all children cane away with smiles and prizes.

The food is amazing, the staff Cesar Danny H, Michelle from animation team and all the others (I can’t remember them all) are so friendly and welcoming, the shows are great, the rooms are clean and very spacious…what’s not to love?! The Reno’s are beautiful! Love what they’ve done in the lobby. Been here 3 times and can’t wait to come back!
