The staff at the Royal Pool Bar - especially Augustine, Diego, Julio, and Enriques were beyond fantastic! Same goes for the staff at the Royal Lounge and Dining Room - including - but not limited to - Marisol, Danna and Antonio! We had a few hiccups due to air conditioning problems and were disappointed that the Mexican Restaurant and snack bar were closed for renovations The Tokyo restaurant was also fantastic! The chef on our first visit was beyond awesome (missed his name) it so entertaining and delicious that it made us book a second night. The pool seating in the Royal Area needs upgrading - as well as some of the chairs in the Lobby Bar. The Entertainment team was fantastic times 10! Loved the nightly shows!

This property is in a really nice area However, the hotel itself is a little outdated and it’s given low budget

We spent 7 days and 6 nights beginning on Mother's Day. We enjoyed our stay and had a very nice experience. The pool chairs fill up quickly every day, don't be late making your way to the pool. The nightly entertainment is a nice bonus after day of activities and sight seeing.

I stayed for 2 weeks. I had a wonderful experience. Luz and David in the buffet were a joy every day in the Buffet restaurant. Luis and Dani in the activity staff made our trip enjoyable. Augustin and the bar staff at the Royal pool always keeping us well stocked. Food was really good, especially at the speciality places. My only complaint would be the fruit wasn't the freshest, I'm also very picky when it comes to that.

The hotel and resort itself is fine. The reason I decided to write this review was because of a man named David the restaurant manager. When I attended the Japanese restaurant, Tokyo, he was amenable to my allergies. I was not feeling the best and he made sure I had a good experience despite this. The second night I saw him was at the Italian restaurant. While there he was kind and courteous and remembered me from the restaurant before. A wonderful host a kind man.
