Amazing Resort

Wonderful resort. I highly recommend coming to the Occidental in Nuevo Vallarta. Staff is super friendly and hospitable. Marisol is just fabulous!! We just loved her!! I highly recommend trying all the restaurants and upgrading to the Royal Level and don’t forget to tell them if it’s a special occasion they go above and beyond !!

Beautiful, simple, easy location from airport. Friendly staff, easy to walk around all of resort. We'll maintained, clean rooms, fun pools!

This was our second time at the Occidental as the service, food and grounds are amazing! We opted for the Royal level again as the upgrades are so worth the added $$. While the guest rooms are a little tired, they are sparkling clean with crisp white linens and towels. I want to give a special shoutout to the wait staff in the Royal buffet: Antonio, Danna and Marisol. They are a credit to their profession, and they remembered us from last year with big smiles!
