I had an excellent experience at Sakura. The atmosphere feels elegant yet relaxed, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. A special thank you to our waiter, Esmerlyn, who made the experience even better with such attentive and friendly service. The attention to detail and hospitality truly stood out. Definitely a perfect spot for a special dinner or a great night out. Would absolutely come back again!

We had an amazing experience at the Blue Restaurant at Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa, and a huge part of that was thanks to , the bartender! The service was exceptional from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and always welcoming with a smile. They made the best drinks and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, and energy made every visit even more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. We had the absolute best time at Secrets La Romana! From start to finish, everything was beautiful, relaxing, fun, and unforgettable. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was amazing, and the entertainment team truly made our trip so special. A very special shoutout to Rene “La Roca,” Yuliana, Dareling, Gregory, Miguel, Dulzura, Armando, and Maria for the incredible dancing, art, energy, and entertainment throughout our stay. You all brought so much joy and made every day feel like a celebration! I also want to give a special thank you for making my 40th birthday extra special with champagne at Zumba for me and my friends. It was such a thoughtful and memorable surprise, and I will never forget it. My massage with Yesenia was phenomenal — truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you to the entire Secrets La Romana team for your kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail. This trip was everything I hoped for and more. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a truly excellent time at Secrets in May 2026! We were there for 7 nights. We upgraded to Preferred at check-in, and feel it was well worth it. The Preferred beach and Preferred pool was quite crowded which wasn't ideal, but we still managed to find lounger spaces most of the times. We used the Preferred lounge frequently, which was a nice respite from the more crowded hotel areas, and also good when we needed a quick snack but didn't want to go to a full restaurant. The service in all areas of the resort was excellent! The highlight of our trip was definitely the food -- there were so many delicious options with a wide variety of dishes and great service. We especially enjoyed Noor and Sakura restaurants. We also loved the little coffee bar (Aroma cafe) which we frequented. One thing we wish was available was ordering food at the pool (lunch only). You could get pizza from the main Dreams pool, but not from Secrets. We found ourselves wanting to go to lunch but also afraid to lose our lounger spots. We did the Catalina island excursion and thoroughly enjoyed it -- we would highly recommend this excursion. Our guides were excellent and professional, the snorkelling and beach were beautiful, and the boat ride was great. We loved being able to use both Secrets and Dreams facilities. We went to the water park multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed that. We also made use of the bigger gift shop at Dreams, as well as a few of their restaurants. We had the absolute best time and will definitely be back!
