We decided to go to the Dominican Republic for our destination wedding. When we first Checked in Victor Val was our main guy. He was the kindest most knowledgeable person at the resort and was such a joy to have for the week we were there. He catered to us and was always there to help. Victor was timely, dependable and honestly became a friend in the days we were there. Everyone at the resort was fantastic but Victor stood out. As well as our wedding planner Karen she was also top notch.

Excellent Hotel deserving of 5 star review, staff, rooms facilities were all excellent. We enjoyed Mare restaurant the most with special shout out to Kensia, Johnny and William who were exceptional. Also the pool side service in the Preferred Club area great service with a big shout out for Llveria she was a joy.

The Hotel is really nice and I would recommend the update to the preferred club. It’s the small details that make your holiday special. Special thanks to the team from the Sakura Restaurant thanks to Henry, Ronald, and Santa. We had a lot to laugh about. If any of you are reading this, thank you all three for such a lovely evening. I would recommend this hotel to my family and even to my mother in law ??

We stayed at Secrets La Romana Adults Only Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic for 10 nights, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. The staff truly couldn’t do enough for us - every single person we met was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We decided to upgrade to preferred, and it was definitely worth it. The extra touches, service, and comfort made the whole experience even more luxurious. One of our favourite places was Scores sports bar - we ended up there every night! The service was incredible; the moment I sat down, my drink was already poured and waiting for me. It made us feel so looked after. The hotel itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. We did have to ask housekeeping not to use bleach in the room because it was turning our socks different colours, but they listened straight away and stop using it for the rest of our stay, which we really appreciated. The resort is stunning, right on a gorgeous beach with plenty of choices for food and drink. We never felt pressured to tip - you can if you want to, but it’s not expected. We tipped each evening but not really during the day, and the service was still exceptional. We also booked a Saona Island excursion through TUI, which was a fantastic day out (although very long!). The island is beautiful and definitely worth seeing. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return. The staff, the service, the food, the beach - everything was perfect. A truly wonderful holiday.

BEAWARE of the AMSTAR tour company at the concierge they will rip you off I was riped off by the staff Jorge and Juan and also to add their snorkel platform entraps aquatic animals in their net. Overall the place is beautiful, staff are friendly and they have variety of entertainment and food. great for families or couples who want to relax and dont like anything too crazy. the beach was pretty, clean and spacious. Location: is 1 hour away from the airport. difficult to do excursions since you need to go back to punta cana but the beaches in this area were phenomenal Atomosphere: theres variety, adult area and family area, mostly quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted. rooms: the first room we received smelled of urine so we had to switch it but it wasnt anything special. clean, little damp from the sea but the room service was good restaurants: all the restos were delicious and unique except the Sakura.
