the service is average. The Air Conditioning system is poor. You need to improve the food variety. you have to improve the ventilation (change of air) in the sport Bar. the pools have to be cleaned, there was some leaves at the bottom of pools

I will never return. Terrible food and staff

From a room booking mixed up to the worst restaurants and food service I've ever experienced, staff that don't care and show it when you ask for help or a simple request for local coffee, and a manager that seem bothered that I was not happy. Took all I could muster to keep my disappointment away from my family to try for them to have a good time. I will never return.

Dream plan,nightmare reality

On 2016 my wife and I ,we have the best vacations on the life on this wonderful resort: BARCELO BAVARO PREMIUM PALACE ??????????  beautiful ROMS , great SERVICE, amazing FOOD and nice hospitality,. This year 2024 my family and I we decided to invite my brother and him family to this wonderful resort ,we are so happy and exciting to have great time and fun . We arrived, we are go to check in on premium area ( 2 employees) on desk ,we waiting for 2 hours only for check in,the offer drinks ,champagne, snacks, ( we dont need that I need go to room change clothes and enjoy, after 5 hours trip ). Finally we are on our room nice jacuzzi on balcony ocean view same like was 2016,my brother have same type great  stared . This afternoon We enjoy the beach, pool ,drinks ... Time to have some meal ,we go to buffet are before dinner time ,we seat ,and go to food area , ONLY local food ,NO strawberry's, no steaks,no shrimp , and I ask can I have red wine ,waitres say yes ,was taste like hibiscus water ,i call her can i have different type of wine she say yas ypu have to purchasei decide to paid $50.00 one bottle,( I'm feel embarrassed with my brother and him family , I talk really good about this place shame on me ) The cherry on the Cake ,we eat wherever have (was fresh by the way ),we hear very heavy noises ,is like 100 people coming from one convention all screening wear one collor shirts OMG !! my brother looked me like ,what happened, this is the QUIET , AND REALAX RESORT. This night I wish can be ostrich to hide my head on the ground. We are on the room like 11pm, open the door, and turn lights on, surprise like thousands mosquitoes and A/C  room is licking from the ceiling, all floor is wet,.... My wife was .... o can't explain you know after all disappointments how she feels, was understanding today her reaction. Im call front desk one lady answer the phone ,I explain the problem, she say I can send technician, I say NO ,change my room please, she say ok ,she say be ready on 20 min I send some body  to help you, 12 , 1am , nobody,by meantime mosquitoes doing him job beating my girl  leg come and I tried to call 10 times front desk, meantime mosquitoes doing him job beating my girl  leg ( she is special need girl) Finally answer , I make call from my cell and miracle go true !! Finally I say to guy answer the phone ,why don't answer when I make call from my room phone ,he say you have to call to 0 only ,someone answer my call before, anyway I don't what to make BIG DEAL ABOUT THAT ! I explain what happened and we waiting for 3 hours to change the room,  he answer the person the was taking before she left the resort and she forgot to tell us what happened, OMG!! After 30 minutes guy arrived to the room and we take golf car ti tranfre to another room , we are driving for 15 min to amoter building, I say what happen I don't want move to another building, my brother and him family is another one ,now go back to same building and I ask talk to the manager, he say I have one room on this building but is no higher level the another, only fpr tonight, ( by that time is 3:00 am( !!!! NICE FIRST VACATION DAY !!) next  day 3pm we have similar room Like we paid for ,what that nightmare This resort serve fresh food and some quality service , but for the a paid $8600.00 dollars For 2 rooms ans 4 nights! I feel like I was robbed!! He need to Change categorie on this restor to 3 stars ?? ???? Regards

Not recommend!! AC wouldn't cool off the room It was hot even at the indoor restaurants Temperature controlled by corporate according to staff. When you asked for information, you would get different answers from everyone. Food was bad Water park included for 1 day, not worth spending money to go there

Needs Improvement ASAP

Staff seemed overwhelmed at the restaurants. we had to clean our own tables. no silverware at the buffet or the table. we stayed there for a week and no, we do not expect service to be spotless at all time, but I also dont go on vacation to have to chase people to clean my tables on every meal...this is beyond ridiculous. these companies make so much money and yet, they are unable to devise a plan to have enough staff at peak hours... Not blaming the servers for their inability to provide what we needed. blaming the managers, which NONE of them were around to help them...I have been a client for the last 20 years...Last time I visit. Pick another place.
