Wonderful

We had a lovely time here. The staff in all areas were very helpful and welcoming. The room was cleaned thoroughly. The food was ok. Plenty of different choices. We ate at the speciality, Italian and Mexican restaurants, and the food was excellent. The staff are energetic and couldn't do more for you. The beach is wonderful. Plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas. The grounds are beautiful, very well kept. There were lots of different age groups, families, friends, teenagers. There are areas around the resort for refilling water bottles with fresh water. There were plenty of activities to join in, if you wanted. The shows in the evenings were really good and fun. In and around the resort the staff were multilingual, and if they didn't understand what you were saying, they would get someone who did. We had a great time. Thank you

We did not have a good customer service experience at this resort. Check in took a long time and they did not give any orientation to the resort. We did not know what restaurants needed reservations and which ones did not. There was a concierge that showed us the app, but it was unless, not up to date and you could not make reservations or get general questions answered. The concierge was very difficult to understand, and didn't seem to understand us. We didn't chose to upgrade to the star prestige service and then he stopped talking to us immediately, which is fine but we had no direction about where to ask for help finding things at the resort of figuring out how to make reservations for dinners. There was not staff on the beach to help people with finding chairs, and there was no wait staff on the beach or by the pool. The bathrooms near the beach were disgusting! The hot food at the buffets was cold and the cold food was warm. The area did not appear clean, and dishes appeared dirty. The sit down restaurants served basically the same food as the buffets. Also not proper temp of texture of the food. There was no good coffee. The service at the golf course was similar, there was confusion about how the tee times worked and miscommunications. At one point we got told to hurry up, even though we where on track for a 4 hour round. The next day we were behind slow players and the round took over 5 hours. The location is great and the golf course was fun and in good condition. Also house keeping did a nice job with the rooms.

The entrance to the resort is sketchy and not well lit. The app is useless. Restaurant hours/info is incorrect and the map is difficult to navigate. Signage is almost nonexistent around the resort. The buffets and restaurants have weird hours, you can’t go get food whenever you’d like. The pools and beach were great, but no swim up bar. Servers around the pools are few, they tend to go serve the larger groups. Also, they do not enforce the “no reserving lounge chair” issue. People go out early to put towels on their chairs and won’t return for hours. It’s quite irritating. Entertainment was poor, one “show” at 9:30 p.m. Overall, it was okay. Room was nothing special, clean. Nice to get away to warmth and sun for a few days, but we were expecting more from this area.
Nice but won’t be back

The hotel is beautiful. I did not like that the buffets were all outdoors and that smoking was allowed. I wish there was filtered water in every room. They tried to get you to buy a membership and were very persistent. I didn’t like that they tried to sell you something on the beach and everywhere you go. The pool was great and so were the employees.
Fine for budget friendly option

Property is small but we'll kept. Rooms are nice with great AC. The entertainment team is fantastic, my favorite part. I recommend joining in with evety activity they have Gym is small , but nice. Food was fine/ok. My favorite was the local Dominic food served. We ate at the Siblia restaurant and had really great steaks and they had a fantastic birthday celebration for my teen daughter. You have to reserve this with customer service desk 24 hours prior and pay $35 for a cake. Cons: for the 1st, 3 days I was told that there were no reservations available at either of the 2 nicer restaurants during our 4 night stay by the Dominicana side customer sevice desk. Then a staff member recommended I go to the Punta Cana side and magically they had space for us at both. I suggest staying on the Punta Cana side and going to the Dominicana side for their large stage entertainment. The customer service is better there in general. At the Dominicana, the staff can be rude and miserable. It's very hit or miss. Once you find a great server or bartender though, tip them and treat them well and they will be your best friend. There are definitely some great ones. Wifi was terrible for me. It worked best at pool area but rarely in the room. Bring an empty water bottle in your suitcase to refill. They don't give you any in your room, but have glass bottles for $20 available that you need to refill yourself. I found that ridiculous. Cocktail servers are very hit or miss at beach and pool areas. I almost always went and got my own drinks at the bar for lack of attention. I brought my teen daughter and 2 of her friends and this resort was fine for that. I won't be going back, personally. for a nicer type trip.
