The resort is beautiful and has a calm, relaxing vibe. The staff was very attentive and provided amazing service. Alfayuri was such an amazing staff member and always went above and beyond for us.

I’ll keep this short - don’t stay here. There’s nothing W about it. Boring / unfinished looking decor. Staff that can’t be bothered to follow up on anything. “Upgrades” to rooms in worse categories (likely for their own room management reasons, not because they appreciate my Bonvoy loyalty), and really terrible wine. There was nothing remarkable about this place and so so so many very basic service mess ups it was embarrassing.

Enjoyed my time at this beautiful resort. There is one person that elevated our experience. I wanted to thank Joselo who was part of the service team at the pool side. He was courteous and caring. He treated my girlfriend and I like a Queen ad King. People like Joselo will elevate any business that they are part of. He is Warm and Friendly and he takes his job to give great service serious. He is truly one of the best I have ever experienced.

????? An Amazing First Trip to Punta Cana! This was my first trip to Punta Cana, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with so much warmth and hospitality. I had an amazing time, made beautiful memories, and met some truly wonderful people along the way. Our room was absolutely amazing—comfortable, beautiful, and everything we could have hoped for. The service was easily a 10/10, the food was a 10/10, and I was especially impressed by the amenities. They truly seemed to think of everything, including so many thoughtful details and conveniences that I don't typically see offered at hotels and resorts. It made our stay that much more comfortable and enjoyable. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, were the people. The hospitality we received went far beyond simply providing good customer service. We encountered people who were genuinely kind, attentive, welcoming, and committed to making sure we were taken care of. Some even made us feel less like guests and more like family, which meant more to me than they probably realize. I especially want to recognize the amazing staff in the Trade Market. The supervisor Hica who took great care of us the whole trip and the supporting staff- Ishmael, Luisa, Meraly, Darlin, and many others that I didn't get their names. Thank you for the kindness, laughter, conversations, care, and incredible hospitality you showed us. You each contributed something special to our experience, and I left Punta Cana not only with beautiful memories, but with connections I will genuinely cherish. For my very first trip, the bar has officially been set HIGH! ?? I returned home feeling grateful, refreshed, and already carrying memories that will stay with me for a very long time. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful experience and for making Punta Cana feel like home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this experience to others, and I look forward to the day I get to return! ??????

The W Punta Cana was exceptional. My husband and I went here for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had never been to the Dominican before, but I would go back to this place right now, and again and again. The food was wonderful--we went to many of the restaurants and enjoyed each one. The steak house that is near the pool was open air, and could use some air conditioning. The restaurant above this steak house had wonderful grilled fish, sandwiches and fries. The chocolate dessert at Scena was phenomenal. Trade Market was a large area with many different items to choose from for breakfast or brunch. There was also a cafe with sandwiches, salads and desserts that you could pick up. There was a beautiful pool that was super long and stretched in front of the ocean. It had a lively atmosphere. There was a quiet pool with a swim up bar as well. Everyday, there were multiple activities you could choose from-painting your own hat, sampling cacao, cornhole, singing entertainment at night, ping-pong, volleyball, identifying songs as well as the singer, etc. The room was large with a sectional and large television, king bed, indoor and outdoor shower, small mini-bar, and turndown service. The room was super quiet and relaxing. On the beach, there were plenty of lounge chairs. You did not have to go down and reserve one. There were plenty for everyone. The staff was phenomenal. Denisse was over the activities crew, and she tried her best to know everyone. This was amazing how she seemed to make everyone think they were her close friend. Also, Francisco was our friend. He was our waiter while we were lounging at the ocean, and was truly a wonderful representative of the hotel. We were very sad to leave him at the end of our stay. All in all, this has to be one of our favorite trips ever, and we travel often. Be sure to go there if you are planning a trip to the Dominican!!
