Prior to my stay I was sent pre-arrival emails encouraging me to email them with more details & when I did I had to chase for a reply. As a Marriott Gold Member I was given a one category upgrade to an ocean view and given a 2pm late check out. None of this reflected in the app and my stay has now disappeared and I'm still waiting for the points to be credited. Official 4pm check in and 11am check out time is restrictive. No need to reserve sunbeds here there's plenty of choice where to sit whether on the beach or around one of the 2 pools. I was disappointed with the content of the minibar in terms of alcohol choice and it wasn't replenished during our stay so we were short on water and had to ask for more coffee creamer, a lack of attention to detail there. The outpost cafe was amazing such great choice of coffee, pastries, macarons and ice cream. The food at the trade market was pretty bad in the evening and only a couple of restaurants are open each evening. The noodle bar was great. lunch at the beach restaurant was good. Entertainment was half-hearted at best. We enjoyed our stay, it was a beautiful resort but to justify the price they charge I think they need to up their game.

We had a wonderful visit enjoying the beautiful beach and pools, delicious food and festive cocktails. The food and desserts were beautifully presented and we had no wait times at any of the restaurants. As lovely as the resort is, the true shining stars are the people who treated us like family and brought us many laughs and smiles, including: Juan at the front desk China, Le Bron and Deimond the entertainers Ramon the driver Yuberys the pool waitress Manuel the Mixologist And the lovely pastry chef who taught our chocolate class and the talented potter who taught clay making! Don’t skip a visit to the Punta Cana W. We can’t wait to return!! ?? ????? ?? ??

Do not book this hotel. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and it is absolutely not a five-star all-inclusive resort. The hotel is advertised as “brand new,” but everything felt dirty, broken, and poorly managed. Our first room was filthy — dirty shower, dirty bathtub with hair, phone not working, and minibar not refilled. We had to move rooms, only to be “upgraded” to a suite where I was bitten all over by bugs and could not sleep because my skin was burning and itching. Hallways are flooded! Nightmare! The food was terrible, breakfast buffet was awful, and the restaurant selection was nowhere near what was advertised. We booked this hotel expecting a great adults-only beach vacation with quality dining, and got the complete opposite. The beach was dirty, empty, and not worth it at all. Its not even safe to go in the water!!! On top of that, management was useless and completely unhelpful. We cut our trip short, spent two months emailing management, and received zero refund, zero compensation, and zero resolution. ZERO!!!! We booked this trip through traveling agency, that completely ignored us. Thats when I got Marriott involved. And they did NOTHING! Shame on the management. This hotel is a scam wrapped in marketing. It may look good online, but in reality it is dirty, poorly maintained, and nowhere near luxury. Do not book if you dont want to experience nightmare that we did.

DO NOT GO!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME, or risk YOUR SAFETY!! Food was bad, pool service was horrible and they blame “not understanding” on the language barrier. It was horrible!!!
