First of all, this is a great hotel! You receive pre-Covid service and are treated the way you would like to be treated when you are a guest of a fine hotel. We will definitely stay again when we return to Quebec City. The main reason I'm writing this review is to help people like myself who have dietary restrictions. I have many and find it challenging to travel. Usually, I can barely eat anything at the breakfasts that come with my hotel stay. Sometimes, I can't eat anything at all. Other times I have very limited options. It's almost always frustrating to ask for help with what I can and can't eat. Sound familiar to anyone? My stay at Le Chateau Frontenac was a fantastic exception in this regard! I owe that to Admir (my server) and Chef Jeff. I cannot say enough about how helpful they were. Chef Jeff clearly and patiently explained to me what I could and couldn't eat. He treated it like these were normal questions. He made special omelets for me each morning. Admir brightened my day by making sure that I was being properly helped. He truly went above and beyond. Each morning, he brought me two breakfast desserts! I can almost never eat desserts in restaurants for dinner. I've never been able to eat desserts at breakfast! Admir and Chef Jeff truly understand dietary restrictions, more than just gluten, dairy, peanuts, and salt. If you decide to have breakfast at Le Chateau Frontenac you will feel confident that you can eat the food that you are served. If possible, ask for Admir to be your server!

Excellent service and accommodations. Spectacular views and centrally located, it was easy to walk the neighborhoods to shop and find multiple options for dining. The hotel's restaurants are incredible. We enjoyed the brunch buffet in the Place Dufferinand an elegant, 5 star meal at Champlain. Valet parking, spacious rooms, on-site spa, pool and gym.

Our son arranged for us to stay over mother’s day in one of the amazing rooms on the twelfth floor with windows overlooking the St Lawrence river. So much to see down below us, especially at night when everything was lit up, including the boats on the water. We were incredibly well looked after by the thoughtful and knowledgeable staff, our room was very comfortable with easy to operate lighting and heating and lots of water was provided, as well as a very well stocked fridge and mini bar. Breakfast on the 14th floor was delicious including some wild fried potatoes, but if you wanted a chef to cook for you it was necessary to go downstairs.

Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac looks like a dream. The reality is: it is a dream. The hotel, the service, the staff, the cleanness, and the river view from the 11th floor. The location is perfect. The room is also amazing. The place is extraordinary in every detail.

Normally, I wouldn't spend this kind of $ on a hotel, but the location could not be beat. It was in the centre of everything we wanted to visit, and there were many dining options within walking distance. I booked a river view room, and it did not disappoint. The beds were comfy, and the room was well-appointed. We had the breakfast buffet twice, and it was incredible. I will never forget those maple syrup crepes! Whenever we had questions, the staff were very helpful. I would stay here again if I were to come back.
