HECNER at managalar restaurant was our go to server. Super attentive to detail , cleanliness, polite and always there to assist and good natured.

We had the best experience at Carvão—it truly became the highlight of our entire trip, and we loved it so much that we came back every single night for dinner. From the moment we first walked in, we felt so welcomed, and that feeling only grew stronger each night. The food was consistently amazing—every dish was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and something we genuinely looked forward to all day—but what really made this place unforgettable was the staff. We always requested to sit at Gabriella, Julian, and Saul’s table because they were beyond incredible. They remembered our favorite drinks and go-to menu items and would have them ready for us before we even had the chance to order, which made the experience feel so personal and thoughtful. One night we were craving carrot cake, but it wasn’t being served, and instead of just saying no, Gabriella went completely out of her way to another restaurant just to bring us carrot cake, which honestly meant so much to us and says everything about the level of care here. They are all so hardworking, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around, and they created such a warm, welcoming environment every night. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do. To make our last night even more special, the head chef Walter prepared a custom Peruvian dish just for us, which was not only absolutely delicious but such a thoughtful and memorable gesture that we’ll never forget. Carvão is so much more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience filled with amazing food, exceptional service, and the kind of hospitality that keeps you coming back again and again, and we cannot recommend it enough.

What attentive service for beginning to end. Huge thanks to pool bar staff (especially Carlos who made some an effort to preempt our drink choices every single day!). Such a fun atmosphere around the pool also - never a dull moment - live entertainment, games, activities. We hired bikes everyday and saw crocs sunbathing on the golf course. So much wildlife to immerse yourself in on the resort! Huge thanks also to Alejandra and team, who arranged for us to do a beautiful memorial for our brother in law- who married at the Moon Palace in 2008 - so it was so kind for the Moon Palace to honour what a special place it was to them. The way they arranged flowers, balloons and for the plaque to be blessed before placing it on a tree that would withstand a hurricane was really going above and beyond. Their recognition that the Moon Palace may be a place to work for them, but is somewhere that holds really special memories for the guests, just shows what makes this place truly special. Thanks again to all who made this stay very special.

This is our second time to this resort. We love it. They take such good care of us and have fun activities and entertainment. Itzel remembered our names all week and made sure we had a great time! My wife is gluten free. She asks for gf food at every meal and has been well bc are for.

The Carvao (Brazilian style steakhouse) at the Nizuc is amazing. Ask to be served by Marcos, Jorge and Fernando and you will be all but guaranteed a perfect meal.
