Very disappointed. Although the entire hotel staff I met was great, I had a number of issues. The Bahia website advertises the lounge chairs and umbrellas there every day from 10am - 6pm for guests; it's something guests pay for and it's the only reason I chose the hotel and yet they took that from me and other guests. I did not see lounge chairs the entire four days I was there because they had rented out that space all four days. That's ridiculous!!! There are other places they could have set up the chairs on the beach away from the private party which is what they should be doing; but what they shouldn't do is take away something the guests paid for and that they advertise is available every day. In addition, my suite had a number of issues. The large couch smelled like animal pee and so I couldn't use it. The carpet had a 10 foot long large bubble in the middle of the floor, the small couch cushions were fraying, the shelf the refrigerator sat on was a destroyed mess, and more. I ate at the restaurants and the service was good, but the food wasn't. At breakfast the potato's were served barely warm and it was clear that they were made hours ago and sat under a heat lamp or something. They tasted old and weren't served hot like they should have been. At night I had a turkey sandwich that didn't have any flavor and the fries weren't hot either. I don't plan to go back because I believe the hotel took advantage of me and the other guests by taking away the lounge chairs, something we paid for, so that they can make even more money selling that area to groups.

Greeted by a very professional and courteous front desk crew. Plus a prompt check into a bay view with very comfortable King size bed and luxurious amenities Suite on the 1st first floor. (An upgrade for our 42nd Anniversary). We feel so blessed. Such a lovely convenient location by the Bay. Too bad we only stayed one night to get to experience everything this hotel has to offer. We are locals and have only ever stayed in a San Diego Hotel one other time for our Wedding night. This should be a new annual tradition. Thank you team Bahia!

Had a fantastic experience here over the weekend with my family. Stayed in a beachfront suite and the view was stunning. The whole resort makes you feel like you have been transported straight to Hawaii. The front desk was helpful with any of our needs. Gorgeous sunsets, and amazing food at the restaurant on the water. My kids loved the private beach and the pool. Will definitely stay here again. Special thanks to Sarah the manager up at the front desk, for making sure our stay was above and beyond excellent

Some of the employees were very kind. The facility is a disaster. Very run down, when I tried to get my air conditioning to work the very kind maintenance man, Roberto said, "I'll replace the air conditioning with a different one, however it won't work either". He told me that they are all too olld, don't work and that the hotel is too cheap to replace them with mini-splits or anything else. For the outrageously high prices that we paid I had an expectation of a nice facility WITH air conditioning.
