We absolutely loved this hotel. We went for my fiancé‘s 26th birthday and had an amazing time. We had to wait a little longer than expected to check in & had been passed through a few different people at the front desk, But finally, we were directed to Ben and he gave us incredible, top tier customer service. He was very apologetic for our wait and was so kind and really kicked our trip off to a great start. We were upgraded to an amazing room since it was my fiancé‘s birthday, and we were also celebrating our five year anniversary, Ben wanted to make it extra special for us. That is beyond appreciated and really took our trip to the next level. We had a whole itinerary planned out while being in Mission Bay, but this resort has so much to do, We only left one time to go to dinner outside of the hotel. The food at their restaurant Dockside 1953 is to DIE FOR!! Seriously, those fish tacos are unbelievable. I ate them every day for lunch. Our waitress one time we were there really stood out as well. Her name was Cyana and she was so kind and accommodating. I am what I like to consider a “Particular” eater…lol. I don’t like the word picky but I guess if I’m being honest I am. She worked with me and my requests and made it so I had an incredible breakfast, so many thanks to her and the culinary staff as well! My Fiancé and I played shuffleboard every night under the beautiful string lights and overall just had a truly amazing, 10/10 stay. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay here and can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was amazing all in part due to Benjamin!! He was such a professional class act employee! Anything I needed to turn my trip around he did, and he did it with intent to actually make it happen!! I truly cannot express enough how much he makes the Bahia a better place to stay!!! -The Griffins

Our beachfront suite was dirty and infested with cockroaches. This was our third stay at this resort and we were horrified. We also had an issue with the a/c unit in the bedroom not working. We reported the issues to management. Their written promise to us regarding this situation has not been fulfilled. What a huge disappointment. Beware.

Great for Families! We had a fantastic family vacation at the Bahia Resort! The staff was professional, friendly, and always helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and updated, with the only minor issue being a faint pet odor in the carpets (which could be easily addressed by the resort with pet-specific room options). Delicious Food and Fun Activities Dockside 1953, the resort's restaurant, offered a delicious variety of dishes for breakfast and dinner, with something to please everyone, including our kids. The staff was also incredibly friendly and efficient. We especially enjoyed the scavenger hunt, a fantastic activity that allowed us to explore the entire resort and discover hidden gems. The beach/bay area was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of chairs. We preferred the calmer bay waters for our children's safety. The pool was spacious and had ample seating, making it comfortable even when crowded. A definite highlight was watching the adorable rescue seals lounging around their enclosure. Excellent Communication and Security The resort communicated clearly before, during, and after our stay. Emails and texts kept us informed and made us feel welcome. We also appreciated the feeling of security throughout the property. Hotel security and frequent police patrols provided an extra layer of peace of mind, especially with our children. Overall, the Bahia Resort exceeded our expectations for a family-friendly getaway. We highly recommend it!

We had our room changed from Garden View because of faulty front door lock, broken vanity light, and a mini fridge not working. The odor of the room was overwhelming. Very nice from desk rep changed our room. Sadly he was unaware of the rooms condition he fave us. I wiped down the bathroom best I could. I couldn't reach all the brown whatever on the ceiling. Then the matress pad popped off the bed! I went to fix it! On our last day! It was grey and rotted. A top sheet was laid over it. I also returned home with a horrible burning itching rash! After staying 7 nights at the Resort. I've been a customer of the Bahia for 20+ years! This has never happened before.
