Exceptional Service

The staff at Parc 55 may be the most kind, thoughtful and efficient team I have ever encountered during travel. I started not feeling well during my stay and everyone I talked to were so flexible and willing to help me. I was unable to go downstairs to get food myself, and I had several Walgreens deliveries, which they delivered to my room. (they normally do not have room service). The manager personally walked to kitchen to order my food and then she delivered it to my door. The hotel is beautiful and my room was large, clean and modern. Sonya, Winnie were both very kind and helpful, going out of their way to help me. There were many others including valet , another manager and front desk but I did not catch their names. Parc 55 is my new go to hotel in San Francisco!
Loved it

We decided to stay in the Union Square area this time and as a member of the Hilton Honor program this was an easy choice. Very professional and friendly check-in lady who gave us a room with a nice view upon request. 12th floor had a nice view towards the TransAmerica building. The rooms was nice even if a bit dated. My only negative point is that the queen beds are really small. This was our last stop on a 2 weeks road-trip and definitely the smallest we had… The Bathroom with a tub had everything and good size. The hotel has 7 elevators so you just push in your floor from the outside and an elevator is immediately ready which was really nice. The guys at the valet parking also very friendly and efficient and the car came within minutes of request. Easy access to shopping and eating options. Just a few stepd away from Union square and the Westfield/ San Francisco shopping center on Market street with Nordstrom and Bloomingdales among many other shops. On Market street also other shops and Starbucks. A small Turkish café also just outside for morning coffee and pastries. I loved this hotel and would definitely come back if staying in this area of SF. However I must unfortunately mention that this area has a huge homeless problem (more than Fisherman’s Wharf) and this might pull down the experience a bit even if it has nothing to do with the hotel, only the area.
OK for business, not sure about the location though

Parc 55 hosted a conference I attended in September 2023. Rooms were a decent size with good air con. Good views and the hotel was clean. The location of the hotel is right next to the very dangerous and poor area called Tenderloin. Sadly this area and the city in general has a lot of homelessness and drug problems. It made us slightly uncomfortable when out of the hotel. The hotel is a 45 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf which is a lovely area of the city and well worth a visit. Food in the hotel was VERY expensive. A burger and a beer for instance was over $50. Breakfast for our group was really limited. There wasn't even an option for fruit. Would I stay here again? No. I'd rather stay further away and feel safer.

Clean hotel, reception is very very slow when busy which is the last thing you need when checking in. Concierge was no where to be seen even though we waited 30 min. There is no tea in the rooms, only coffee. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a good hotel for exploring the city, very central to everything.
Golden experience

Had a Golden Girls weekend and wanted a nice room to spend out evening in. It was clean and had a good space. The drinks at the bar were tasty but we didn’t have much luck with the food there. Just not worth the price. The outside of the hotel looks like a prison but the inside was beautiful.
