Hotel is okay, i go here every year for a large meeting, this year my booking was done through a third party but i specifically asked to book this hotel. Out of more than 25 choices i had in that list including other Hilton properties. i am a HH member and was refused points for my 4 days stay. The front desk manager kindly told me to take it with the Hilton Honors directly, citing "Terms and conditions" with tthird party booking, Kind of unpleasant reaction as i know Hilton usually does everything to please their guests. Well not at this property. So i had to get to the HH directly to solve the issue. So i guess i will be avoiding this Hilton property for the future trip in January next year and beyond.

Lovely hotel, large rooms, comfy beds and pillows & good bathroom facilities. Good restaurant and reasonably priced meals and drinks. The staff were excellent. This hotel is in a great position for shopping & public transport. Would definitely stay here again ??
over charged for the rate

The room was clean and the location was great. Overall, it was a very nice hotel experience until the check-out process. It seems that due to the hotel's financial difficulties, they overcharged us for our stay. Our reservation clearly stated that the rate for the first night was $147 and $124 for the second and third nights. However, the hotel charged us $147 for every night. Thankfully, we reviewed the bill and noticed the discrepancy. It took a few minutes for the front desk to correct the error, but during that time, they even questioned us and made us feel as if we were being dishonest about our original reservation.
Hotel was fine, but neighborhoods can challenging if you're out on foot

The hotel is fine for San Francisco. The front desk and concierge were helpful.
It has a small restaurant, which was good for breakfast and lunch, with a nice breakfast buffet, but of course there will be Hilton buffer prices so don't be surprised by that. Also, valet parking, which we did opt for, is quite a bit, at $75. Part of that decision to use the valet was so could get our vehicle and get in it right in the hotel driveway, and not be wandering around the neighborhood unless we had a reason to. The Tenderloin neighborhood to the west of the hotel is terrible, and I'm not exaggerating - really run down and lots of homeless people wandering around and some acting aggressively and tons of tents set up on the sidewalk (not that homelessness by itself is necessarily an issue, of course, but this was not good). So, if you walk out of the hotel and go east or south, you might be all right, although it still may not be great, but definitely don't walk west. I hear this hotel and a related one got 'returned to the lender', or in other words, the owners gave up on their mortgages and didn't force the lenders to foreclose, they just went "here, you take them". All of that did not adversely affect our experience - we were here for an event in the hotel that had been planned long before but bumped out due to the pandemic.
There is a cable car stop nearby if you're interested in taking one down to FIsherman's Wharf and doing touristy things.

All around great hotel. Don’t pay attention to the people complaining about this place. Some people are difficult and cry about everything. It’s very nice and Sheryl at the front desk if wonderful. I used the gym and the restaurant. Some very nice views on the higher floors. Their Thai restaurant is exceptional.
