The Hyatt Regency Toronto is a gem!
Laura P on Dec 17, 2025
My son and I came to Toronto to see Ramin Karimloo and Hadley Fraser at the Princess of Wales Theatre. We wanted to stay close to the theater and the Hyatt was just down the street. It exceeded our expectations in every way, from the warm greeting upon check in, to the friendliness of every staff member we interacted with, to the extra comfy beds and pillows. The workout room is top-notch with free weights, weight machines, cardio equipment, yoga mats and balls. Since we stayed in December, the outdoor pool was not open, but looks like a lovely amenity for the summer months. There's a bar and restaurant on site, a gift shop, and a Starbucks, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will come back again on future visits to Toronto.
Great hotel; but awaken by noise that last hours

My sister, sisters-in-laws and I have stated with you in the past. We have throughly enjoyed your safe, clean premises and appreciated the convenience of the bar area, Starbucks, breakfast/dining room, on-site parking and luggage check. So, when my sister-in-law and I decided to stay over after a show at the Princess of Wales Theatre, we automatically booked at the Hyatt Regency. After the show on Thursday, December 11, we sat in your bar area for about two hours before heading up to our room. By the time we went to bed, it was almost 2:00a.m. We did not have to rush in the morning and planned to sleep late. Unfortunately, sometime after 7:00 a.m., a banging noise (similar to a hammer striking) began, which woke us. The noise did not subside, and so we got up. This sound continued until we left our room at approximately 10:30. We were not able to determine the source of the banging, but it appeared to be coming from inside the hotel, as the sound was definitely louder in the hallway than the room. This situation is most unfortunate, as we left our “mini getaway” feeling tired instead of rested. It was a blemish on our otherwise lovely experience at the Toronto Hyatt Regency.
The Perfect Christmas Ladies’ Night Getaway
Dora M (Burlington, Canada) on Dec 16, 2025
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Toronto for our annual ladies’ night Christmas getaway. This marks our fifth year in a row staying here, and it has truly become a cherished tradition for us. Over the years, we had the pleasure of meeting Amrit, who was the manager on duty at the time and is now the Director of Hotel Services. From that first meeting, a lovely relationship was formed. Prior to this stay, I reached out to Amrit, who kindly connected me with Rae Angeles. Rae immediately welcomed us and helped coordinate our arrangements, elevating the experience even before we arrived. That level of care and leadership was reflected throughout the entire team. Akshat at the front desk went above and beyond to exceed my expectations — kind, professional, incredibly helpful, and truly a rockstar at his job. We stayed in the Director Suite, which was absolutely stunning with a beautiful city view. Every staff member we encountered was warm and accommodating, including Zain, who was especially helpful to my friend. This was hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Exceptional service, a beautiful property, and an incredible team — we can’t wait to return next year.
Your hopes

Staff were so helpful and polite. The kind of experience you always hope will happen when you stay in a hotel. Couple that with an excellent location and a great facility and you are on to a winner.
Will be returning!

After arriving late after a delayed flight, I was warmly welcomed by the host, and served an excellent meal. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in-room dining experiences. My 3 nights were a wonderful stay and I'll like be returning for future visits to the city.
