Avid Readers Will Appreciate the Chairs and Lighting
WellReadNaturalist (Scappoose, Oregon) on Aug 28, 2024
This is a very nice and well maintained hotel located conveniently close to the Canada Place cruise terminal, the convention center, and a host of restaurants and cafes. the staff is professional, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are clean and the amenities are all well chosen Extra points are also awarded for the comfortable reading chairs and effective lighting near both the seating and on the headboard of the beds. For avid readers such as myself, such details elevate the overall quality of the stay.
Comfortable Stay in a great location
Dave B on Aug 15, 2024
The floor had a really nice view of buildings. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was newly remodeled. The food and bar were good. It was close to the cruise terminal which was a 2 minute taxi ride away. A great location in downtown and close to many restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.
Booked on points
RJ W on Aug 13, 2024
We booked this hotel on points as a stay the night before a cruise. Our flight was cancelled mid-air due to an airplane problem so we were not able to make our reservation. Upon calling the hotel once we landed back in our home airport, we were told that we would not be refunded our points even though our flight was cancelled. They were not accommodating at all to our request and the person we spoke with was very rude. I get the hotel policy is that you cannot cancel within 24 hours of the reservation, but in most if not all cases, hotels are aware of flight cancellations and typically do not hold you to the 24 hour cancellation policy, especially since it is out of our control. If we choose to cruise out of Vancouver again (which I'm sure we will), we will be selecting a different hotel/brand.
Great Hotel Walking Distance to Cruise Ships
castle512 (CT) on Aug 03, 2024
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights prior to boarding our northbound cruise to Alaska. Everyone from the front desk to the gentlemen at the door were friend and helpful. We ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant, coming from the east coast there was some jet lag so staying onsite made sense to us. Rooms were clean and comfortable, stayed on a higher floor and were able to see the planes taking off from the harbor. Dwayne was our waiter on our first morning there and was so friendly! Gave us lots of useful information about the area knowing we only had the day to explore Vancouver. We looked for him the next day but it must have been his day off. Everyone at the hotel was great but Dwayne really stood out. Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship port, really no reason to get a cab unless you have more luggage than can be handled. We each had 2 and had no problem walking to the port.

Joseph in the Bellman Dept. was super helpful, thank you! We had questions about nearby parking options and cruise logistics. His great customer service was MUCH appreciated! . . ...................................................
