Wer stayed at Memories Jibacoa August 16 to August 30. We have been many times to this resort and have enjoyed it immensely every trip there. This year, we noticed a great improvement in it Wifi services, as we wetre able to use our internet all over the resort. This was the first time we could post on facebook in our room. The staff were accomodating and very responsive to our needs. We enjoyed the variety of food available, at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants. We enjoyd the shows , with particular appreciation for thw Wednesday Opera nights. We snorkeled almost every day over the reef in front of the resort. We appreciated very much the taxi services of Humberto Mesa, taking us to Havana, the Bay of Pigs for snorkeling. and to Hershey and Jaruco to deliver medical supplies to their policlinicos as part of our mission of bringing suitcasesof medical supplies from Canada with the organization Together for Cuba. Overall, we had a sense again of being well cared for by all of the staff and the resort as a whole. We are constantly amazed that the hard working staff can continue to care for our needs so well while all of Cuba is struggling to survive in a time of tremendous shortages. Somehow, rhey are able to make a priority of serving their guests while they are living with so much hardship in their homes and communities. We left aware of our need to help the Cuban people however we can.

Amazing time once again in this beautiful resort where they manage to please and give the time of their lives to every customer. Thanks for wonderful memories and another fabulous time at our second home. We will be back for sure next year. Thanks a lot to this amazing team

Been to Jibacoa many times for many years. Always feels like home ! Wonderful staff, more like family! Small, quiet, very relaxed ambiance. Will return , many times. Always find something good to eat. One of my favourite things is all the new friends we meet ! Mary and John Renton.

It is a one of a kind holiday destination surrounded by a unique atmosphere and great people, who somehow have that magic touch of making you feel welcome and at home. I would like to give a special thanks and mention to Mr. Daniel Sanchez Rodriguez (on the left side of the photograph), for kindly walking us through this unforgettable experience and for all the professionalism displayed during our stay, worthy of the prestige of this four "4" star hotel, but with a five "5" star plus rating in our hearts.

I've been to Cuba many times and every time I vow it will be my last. This time, my mom convinced me to give it one more try and go to this hotel. Boy, am I happy I did! My family had an amazing time. The service was incredible, best I've ever experienced in Cuba or anywhere else. The location is perfect, with the ocean on one side and a gorgeous mountain view on the other. The main attraction for us was the snorkeling. You can walk to the coral reef and see beautiful fish so close to the shore or go for a tour on a catamaran with Manuel, who was amazing. The hotel is very close to Havana, so it's great to take advantage of that and take a day trip in a classic car. The food was delicious, and there were no lineups. The guy making the omelets was incredibly efficient, working on 4 pans simultaneously. Even on the weekend, when the local guests arrived, the service remained impeccable with all the staff working non stop to ensure everyone was taken care of. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning in the restaurant, and because we were there in the summer, it was very uncomfortable. Same in the entertainment room where the pool table was located, it was impossible to play or sit in there because it was so hot inside. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will definitely be back, in the winter this time (unless the AC issue is solved, then we'd happily be back in the summer as well). Thank you to the general manager for listening and helping us out with small concerns. He is doing a great job to make sure all of his guests are happy and well taken care of.
