It’s the people that make this hotel great. Cuba is having its issues with infrastructure, but you’d never know it at Playa Vista Azul. Food is plentiful, they do great things with what they have at all the restaurants. I need to give shoutouts to so important people who really helped make it a great trip. Hayde, the butler who met us in the lobby when the bus dropped us off…we wanted to upgrade to premium on-site and she made it happen, getting us into a premium room right away. Arasay, the Premium Manager, who got us into a room with a better view the very next day. There were internet issues, so we were having trouble paying for our upgrade but they went ahead with it and we kept trying over the next day or so. Jose, at reception, who helped us get that payment through, in such a patient, friendly and entertaining manner. And the , Onay and Antonio at the premium bar, who make the best mojitos on the resort! Maricela in housekeeping who did an AMAZING job on our room daily, with the blanket animals and super cleaning. She also found a hat that was left behind in our room switch and made sure it showed up in the new place! Thanks to all, looking forward to returning!!!

Playa Vista Azul has an ocean view out of the ordinary. The really strong points is the premium service and also all the employees of the whole resort. "Show man" Julio has a contagious good humour. I can't remember everyone but I remember Dany. She has such a beaufiul smile and does her best to make you feel at home.

Really wonderful location. The views are beautiful and the beaches are great. 2 beaches on either side of the main building with white sand and beautiful aqua water. The staff are very kind and helpful. The food is good and the cleaning ladies are so helpful and kind. Could not have asked for more during our family holiday. Thank you Josee for being so sweet and helpful. Very much appreciated .

Visited this resort in December with my parents, brother, husband and kids (ages 5-67) and have no complaints. The food was plentiful and there was always something to eat, easy kids foods at all times, amazing coffee and ice cream, fresh eggs every morning and the bartenders, especially Victor and Yadami at the pool bar had the drinks flowing. The room was clean and lacking nothing thanks to our wonderful maid Mariuska. My daughter had a couple nosebleeds and getting fresh bedding was never an issue. No lack of toilet paper. The power never went out contrary to the nay sayers prior to our stay. The beaches as always were pristine. The entertainment was awesome and lots to do for the kids. We met so many people, especially Danays from the entertainment team who felt like family. My daughter had such a great time with the entertainment team and kids club that she had a hard time leaving and wanted Danays to come home with us. We WILL be back. Please do not hesitate to book this resort. The price was right and you will not be disappointed.
