If I could have given this resort no stars then I would. My experience there was terrible. I really wanted to enjoy my vacation as I’m educated and work long hours. Majority of the staff were racist. The resort managers were to contact me and they still haven’t. The service was terrible upon arrival to the end of my stay and I couldn’t wait to leave! It started upon arrival with the receptionist Lizabeth who had my passport, reading it then asking me if I’m sure this is my nationality and if I flew there, the towel person refusing to change my beach towel but changed for other individuals, the female bartender who worked in the main lobby at nights stated to me that I’m Cuban (which I definitely am not) so you cannot drink out of a drinking glass, the room attendants not cleaning our room even though we had the sign on the door for days etc. The only individuals that tried to make me comfortable were Vladimir, Adrian, Brian, Karl Luis, Aliochy, with the male and female night bartenders at the bar that serves burgers. This was the worst resort I’ve ever visited. I really wanted to relax and enjoy my vacation but I will never return there. Imagine how a returning resident or local is treated at the resort. Terrible

Overall my husband & I were pleased with our vacation at your hotel. Some improvements could be made (very repetitive at the buffet, we had the same thing every day - breakfast, lunch and dinner). We were able to get turned eggs & hard boiled eggs only on the last day of our stay.

Staff were attentive to your needs in a respectful and caring way. The buffet menu items were appealing and appetizing. Very tasteful dishes to select from with a salad bar to complement your meal. A staff member was on duty to make your favourite morning juice beverage. A nice touch.

If you are a québécois hochelaga masioneuve type that likes to swear like a pas de classe québécois construction/truck driver….than this is the place for you…if you are someone who is well educated, a true bilingual Montreal who gets what I just said…don’t come here….

I went there for a family trip of 3 days. Food is better than expected after reading a lot of reviews about the food in the hotels in Cuba. Not a lot of variety but it is acceptable and good. Thank you to all the waitress, hostess and cooking stuff for your hard work, always with a smile and willing to help and serve. I even ate clamps, little octopuses, salmon, serrano jam which was a surprise. Fish (not a lot), chicken, pasta, rice of different flavors, variety of deli products but no beef at all. Drinks are good. I need to do a special mention to YENILE on the pool bar and ADRIANO (student in practice at the pool bar). Both made us the best drinks. I hope the hotel hires Adriano because he is super good. The beach is the best of the best clean, clear waters.. perfect to enjoy the day at the beach. Entertainment is good as well. Music all day long, plays at the pool. Nice ambiance Mosquitos was the worse part of the trip. Do not forget mosquito repellent if you want to enjoy the time there. Rooms are spacious and clean but needs a little painting on doors. Air conditioning works perfectly. Hot water was missing the last day but it was ok because you can take a shower with the temperature of the water. . Thank you every one from the receptionists, bell boys, waitress, housekeeping, cookers, maintenance people. You guys made our stay as a pleasant one. We will come back there again. The only negative point is the CADECA inside the hotel. They did not want to change 4 different bills because they were expecting new bills. We do not have a printing machine to have new bills every time. We know that it is not part of the hotel as they are not the owners of the CADECA but that was an stupid and annoying situation because we could not put the money on the card that we needed to have to buy anything at the shopping inside the hotel if you do not have new bills. I am sorry but that was very very inconvenient. Cuba has that problems...
