Unic experience in varadero. Varadero have one of the most beautiful beaches. Amazing food and people attention. Everything was great.

We just returned after spending a wonderful week at a most beautiful resort in Varadero. This was our 5th visit but certainly not our last. Sol Palmeras is a very clean, safe and friendly resort. It has a varied Buffet Restaurant as well as several 'specialty' restaurants. Our experience with the types of food and the overall quality was very good. We had been invited to an incredible 'Repeat Guest' dinner...and it was over the top! The food was outstanding and the ambience could not have been better (outdoors beneath the palm trees and stars with lovely musicians!). Our most comfortable room was always cleaned by friendly staff. We are consistently impressed with the staff who are kind, helpful and respectful. They will always do their best to accomodate your requests. The white sandy beach is very large and has plenty of loungers for all their guests. Sol Palmeras will be the one and only resort we will visit for our Cuban vacations. Thank you to ALL the hard-working individuals for making this a memorable vacation. Had the best experience at Sol Palmeras. The entertainment team was particularly the highlight of the trip, specifically Christian, Dailandy and Tato. Everything was perfect 10/10 resort.

Currently at the Melia Sol Palmera Resort and already loving the experience. The people are incredibly hospitable and kind, and go out of their way to make your stay the best experience possible. Love being apart of the nightly entertainment, talented professional dancers and a very personable MC! The beach is clean and of course breath taking, seems like they are in the process of building a swim up bar as well. Although we came during their winter season I recommend taking advantage of going outside the resort and experience the Cuban culture. The food is as expected but the highlight is their pizza, omelette and fresh fruits! Thank you to the bartenders for their kindness. The experience has me wanting to come back to Cuba! Big tip.. giving back to the people cleaning crew, bartenders, servers , front desk , door men etc) by either gratuity or bringing something small (snacks etc) goes a long way!

Cuba is a very beautiful place. My first time coming here and it feels very safe. The people are so friendly. A lot of people in Cuba learn english and other languages to support tourists. You really do feel at home after the first few days and makes you want to stay longer. I would recommend trying a tour around Havana which will add so much to your experience in Cuba. One final note bring snacks from your country for the cleaning crew they will appreciate it a lot.
