Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The theming is exceptional, the location fantastic and the service great. Was in a resort view room on the 1st floor. Had a beautiful terrace which looked out over a fountain and the secondary pool. It felt like actually staying inside Epcot.

Our experience, as a family, at The Boardwalk Inn, was not just a great Disney hotel experience, but one of our favourite hotel experiences ever. The man who checked us in was pleasant and had a little interaction with the kids that they enjoyed. The room itself was a family studio with two queen beds and a view out over the water and the Boardwalk. Each night from our room we saw fireworks from one of the parks off in the distance, I'm guessing Magic Kingdom as the Epcot fireworks were to the rear of our room. Mousekeeping were great and made sure our room was comfortabel throughout. On the boardwalk there is a restaraunt called the Flying Fish which was absolutely outstanding and was located less than five minutes walk from our room. There is a bar next door to the Flying Fish called the Abracadabar and was my personal favourite, pre-evening hangout. I met some very interesting people in there and the staff were lovely. There is a pizza window which is open until midnight that we used on several occations, all of which was fantastic, the pizza always fresh and the service efficient. The pool area was always well maintained and beautiful. There is a big water slide specifically for Boardwalk pool guests and my kids were never off of it. They use a wristband system for the pool during daylight hours as well to prevent non-guests taking up loungers and space reserved for Boardwalk guests. Inside the pool area there is the Leaping Horse Libations bar which serves snacks and drinks until 11pm which, again, we used often and the staff were very accommodating. The biggest plus of the boardwalk, however, is the fact you can walk to and from both Epcot's international gateway entrance (located between the UK and France pavillions) and Hollywood Studios. The walk to HS in particular being a very pleasant riverside walk. Our kids loved doing this walk and waving to the friendship boats as they passed. I would recommend this hotel highly if you are a fan of the old fasioned grandure of 1920's atlantic city as the atmosphere in the hotel, including the music you hear in the public areas of the hotel, is so relaxing and sets a fantastic scene for relaxing before a busy day or indeed after one.

The hotel is in a great location, the building and rooms are fine, but there is something missing with the staff. I had at least 3 occasions where I was promised something and it just didn't happen. Everyone smiles, but it is clearly false with fake sincerity. I wasn't going to post but what happened this morning was small, but terrible. I needed to do my laundry before leaving in a few days so I went the the laundry room at 5.30am (get it done before leaving for the Parks). I followed all the instructions and it rejected 4 of my credit cards and my daughters and wouldn't work. After 45 mins of trying, I asked at reception and was told that European credit cards don't work in the Laundry.... no sign, now warning, how crazy is that? The lady at reception told me not to worry, go back to my room and someone will call and take me to the laundry and put it on the hotel card. I didn't go to the gym, have breakfast etc and waited 2 hours for nobody to come. The point is that it took 4.5 hours to do a single wash and by the time it was done, my family was completely fed up with waiting and it started to rain heavily. we made Epcot at by 2.30pm. The point is that I have flown from Europe, spent a ridiculous amount to stay in the same hotel as my daughter and her family for four days. The complete disregard and lack of attention to detail has ruined one of those days. The hotel staff smile and tell me how sorry they are, but they are insincere and really just trying to get rid of you. There were some other things that went wrong so never again at a Disney resort for me.

My family and I had an excellent stay at the Boardwalk during our most recent Disney stay. I would say the rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. I felt good about the overall value and location as I love its proximity to the Epcot and boardwalk area restaurants. The hotel had plenty of amenities and things to do, expect some Disney crowds and a bit harder to find peace and quiet which is fairy normal for a Disney hotel. Our room was located directly above the bar area and unfortunately we ran into some late night noise due to this. I’ll give the hotel a lot of credit, they took care of the issue and we didn’t have it again for the rest of the stay. You can’t always control issues but you control how you handle. I love how much this hotel is near, so close to Epcot and Hollywood studios and many neat places on the boardwalk. I would recommend staying here if going to Disney especially if being close to those hotels are a priority for you!
