Our stay was amazing! Thanks to Mario at the front desk, and Alex for making our stay incredible. We went with our 2 kids, 4 years and 10 months. The resort is so beautiful and lots of restaurants and food choices! We will be back!

Spectacular hotel, beautiful rooms and very accommodating staff! Food was very good, the amenities and the cleanliness of the whole place were excellent!

We recently stayed at Grand Catalonia Costa Mujeres with our newborn, and overall, we were unfortunately a little disappointed with the experience. The staff throughout the resort were generally very nice, friendly, and helpful, especially at the restaurants and bars. However, our experience with the Exclusive Travelers Club really affected our stay. We were strongly encouraged to attend their presentation/visit, and although I clearly explained multiple times that we had a newborn with us and could only stay for 20–30 minutes maximum, we were repeatedly told it would be quick. In the end, it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We were promised a free massage at the spa and a discount, which was part of what convinced us to give it a chance, but after the presentation, we did not receive what was promised. I refused multiple times and explained that I wanted to leave because I wanted to spend the time with my family, but they kept insisting. Losing more than an hour of our vacation with our newborn for something we had repeatedly said we didn’t want to do was extremely frustrating, especially considering how much we paid for the trip. Another inconvenience was that multiple elevators in our building were not working, almost all of them at times. With a stroller and a newborn, this made getting around the resort much more difficult than it should have been. It’s honestly a shame because the resort itself is beautiful and the restaurant and bar staff were kind and pleasant. But the experience with the Exclusive Travelers Club left a pretty bad impression and unfortunately took away from what should have been a relaxing family vacation. For the price we paid, we expected a better overall experience. I hope the resort takes this feedback seriously, especially when it comes to guests travelling with young children and the way the Exclusive Travelers Club presentations are handled.

We like the hotel too much the staff was so polite professional and friendly they have a variety of restaurants with different cuisines but the most we like is the Italian restaurant mamma mia specifically the waiter IVAN he host us very warmly and made our dinner so good. The things which we didn’t like is the sea because it was the season of sargassum and it was the rainy season and storm makes the sea to be so wavy. Also the hole hotel is 100% non smoking facility even in open air and beach area, the only way to smoke vape or cigarettes to go outside the hotel which is not comfortable for me, so they should dedicate some area for smoking people at least.

Today is our last day at Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres. We can honestly say that we have had an amazing stay in all aspects. The rooms are impeccable, beautifully maintained, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The service we have received from every single person here has been wonderful. Everyone is so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which makes you feel truly welcome. The quality of the food and drinks has also been excellent. We have really enjoyed both the buffet and the à la carte restaurants. There is a great variety of delicious food, and everything we have tried has been of very good quality. The entertainment team is fantastic and makes sure there is fun and something to enjoy every single day. A very special mention to Belem, who is an amazing entertainer! She is full of energy, enthusiasm, and positivity, and with her around, fun is guaranteed every day! Special mention to Rocio ( breakfast omelette grill), Lisbeth (Adelitas lunch), Lourdes and Patricia (lunch/breakfast buffet hostesses), Yazmin (breakfast healthy toast station) and Aljandra, Criatian and Monserrat (Aromes Coffee). We are sad that our vacation is coming to an end, but we are very happy with our experience here. The beach was great (with the one downside of there being some turtle/manatee poop in the water at times. Asked the hotel and were assured it was safe and not human but it was slightly shocking to see). Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We would definitely love to come back!
