Excellent time spent in the spa. Monica was fabulous. Infinite pool offered great view.. steam room, sauna, plunge pool, lovely touches like beverage tray, loungers while you wait for your session. Recommend. Money well spent!

Grounds - Great Beach - Amazing -> one day with a big of grass in the water Staff - Amazing -> not one sour face all week Room - Amazing -> although our friends staying a different room had a bit of an odor Crowds - Amazing -> never any lack of space at the pool, beach, or buffet Entertainment - N/A -> we never went to the show because we were always eating at that time. Food - Good -> this requires a bit more explanation... The buffet has a wide selection, but it is static. That said, even at the buffet they have cooked to order fish, beef, and chicken, plus eggs in the morning. The downside is that the "ready-made" food at the buffet is only luke-warm; it was never close to hot. On the positive side, they have some REALLY good salsas. The food at the a-la-carte restaurants was very good at the ones we went to - not all of them. The issue is availability - all of the a-la-carte restaurants except the Steakhouse are comically small and it is really hard to get reasonable reservations - 3 nights we at past 9:30pm - once at 9:50pm. Lasty, FWIW they have a really good coffee shop that is basically a Starbucks light. It takes a while (just like Starbucks), but it was good. FWIW, we paid the little extra for a privledged status which gives you priority at the buffet, and a separate area at the beach. A few other things as well, but the value is in the extra area at the beach.

We had a great time at this resort over Christmas. Honestly there weren't really any major complaints and this is the first 5 star review I have ever given an all inclusive so that's a big deal. The good: 1) A beautiful beach. The waves were big when we were there which my kids loved. It was like a wave pool. 2) Great service. Seriously amazing! 3) Buffet was well run. Last Christmas we went elsewhere and they couldn't keep up with the crowds so it was nice that this wasn't an issue here. 4) Minimal seaweed (maybe due to the time of year?) 5) Facilities were well taken care of and the rooms were beautiful. The not so good: 1) The white bedspreads were stained when we arrived. Not a great first impression of an upscale resort. 2) No welcome drink. We got in late so maybe that's why? Or they may just not do that when you arrive. 3) Cold pools. Didn't bother us as you get used to it eventually but one of the pools is barely in the sun
