If you’re looking for a quieter, more laid-back resort without constant daytime activities, this place is perfect. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing, and the smaller size of the resort makes it feel much less crowded and more peaceful compared to larger resorts. There are three restaurant options including the buffet. The Italian and Japanese restaurants were both fantastic, and the buffet was consistently reliable with good variety throughout the stay. The staff really made the experience even better. Room service was excellent, and the bartenders were amazing especially Antonio, Felipe, Fernando, and Miguel. They constantly were making jokes, and would have drinks and shots ready for us before we even finished our last drink, some days we would pull up as a group and ask for 2 shots and get poured 8 it was amazing. By the 3rd day they all knew us by name.

Great resort also, the sushi restaurant was the best Marcelo and his crew are great people and love coming here I wish it was in New York

It was a great a great experience, hakka had a great attentive staff! Marcelino made us feel special and very welcome! Food was 10/10 best restaurant in my opinion!

My girlfriend and I spent 7 days at Óleo Cancún Playa and it was absolutely amazing! It is such a beautiful resort in a wonderful location off the water, with lovely Ocean and Lagoon views. It was my first time visiting Mexico and I will definitely be coming back. The resort is perfect for a getaway that isn’t all about partying, which is exactly what we were looking for. It was a great mix of relaxation, fun and a perfect environment for enjoying yourself but also mingling with others. We spent lots of time by the pool and what I enjoyed was that it was never too loud, so if you were looking to read or tan you were not easily disturbed. The pool did have music playing but it was not enough to stop you from conversations or relaxation. The noise level was good! A big part of what made our trip most enjoyable is how phenomenal all of the staff members were. Not only were they helpful and quick with their service, they were all extremely friendly, fun and easy to talk to. We spent a lot of time at the lobby and pool bar which both provided absolutely phenomenal service. Enrique, Victor, Filipe, Gerry and Yan to name a few had made our trip the most memorable with how well they treated us along with each and every other guest. Not only would they provide great service but also extended wonderful conversations! Just that alone makes me want to come back! We spent a large amount of time with Enrique and Victor who really went above and beyond! I really hope that their hard work and dedication to the resort does not go unnoticed! We decided to do a couples photography session with Yan, Who is one of the photographers at the resort. He made the experience so much fun and really enjoyable given my girlfriend and I are so awkward when it comes to things like that. Yan’s work was amazing and I am so happy we decided to do the shoot. Easy to work with and really put an immense amount of effort into getting the perfect photo for you! The rooms were just as we expected, they were clean and well kept by the cleaning staff whom did a great job. Especially since it was hard to avoid bringing sand along with you to the room after being at the beach. The food was amazing at each of the restaurants! Which this being my first time coming to Mexico was something I had been concerned about before the trip. But it exceeded my expectations by a large margin. Staying here was worth every dollar spent! And I thought that the pricing of our all inclusive package was beyond reasonable and well worth it!

Absolutely Perfect!! My wife and I spent a very relaxing and yet very social week at the OLEO CANCUN PLAYA. Where do we begin? A smaller "Boutique" style hotel which provides easy access to everything. From the moment we arrived the excellent service and care began. Easy check in with drinks! We met Julia (Lobby manager) who pleasantly greeted us. From there we were escorted to our Inspire Ocean View room on the 8th floor. Large bed, sitting area and large shower. Maid service was very good, fresh everything. The service received from all of the staff was exceptional. There are three restaurants, a coffee shop and a bar area. In the pool there is a swim up bar which is busy in midday with a more up beat presence. Primarily, the pool area is relaxing and enjoying the sun and new friends, drinks service to you is great. There is also a smaller snacks restaurant by the pool (Burgers, Sandwiches , etc) that can be served to you around the pool. ** This is not a party hotel/resort. During the day, a little upbeat, but quiet in the morning and evening. There is also a wonderful spa which we took full advantage of with full body massages, hydro therapy pools, warm, hot and cool. Thank you ladies for a very therapeutic and relaxing experience. The three restaurants went far beyond providing excellent service and food taste and quality. This starts from the moment you enter with the polite and professional staff. There is also a coffee shop and relaxing bar area. The AZUL restaurant is a casual buffet style for breakfast lunch or dinner. We can't say enough about Jorge (Azul Manager). Jorge and his staff went all out to see that we were taken care of for our breakfast or lunch time. A special shout out to Chef Saul Borges who prepared our choices perfectly...Delicious! The HAKA restaurant excelled itself in service and food quality. Selection, taste and exceptional service provided by Alexander, Cryspin and chef's Ofelia, Olan and Victor. The ALMAR restaurant again excelled in the staff, food quality and taste. Thank you Emillano and Roger and all of the staff who took care of us for our great evening dinner. The chef prepared a special dinner for us which again was delicious and very filling. We forget his name but will not forget his skill with his food preparation and quality and we will see you again. Obviously from our review we were very please with our one week stay with our new friends at the OLEO CANCUN PLAYA. We will be back!! We found our new relaxing home away from home in Cancun, Mexico.
