As an Iberostar paraiso Lindo guests in Playa del Carmen, we had the privilege to visit the Iberostar Waves in Cozumel. The resort is lovely with their cabana's accommodations that blend into the scenery. The pools are close to the beach too. I really appreciated the fact that they offer water exercises.

Just came back from a 9 day vacation at Iberostar. Had a great time. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room neat and tidy. The food is good (especially the Asian restaurant)! The Smokehouse restaurant was also very good. All the staff were helpful. Especially Rufino. He helped us get oriented when we arrived and his hospitality was much appreciated. ALL the bartenders were very cordial and good at making tasty drinks for us. Special shout out to Isidro at the bar in the dining area by the pool. Your friendly personality and professionalism meant a lot to me. Hope I got your name right. We will for sure return to the Iberostar. Loved everything about it.

This was our third trip in 2 years to this wonderful resort! It’s always a great time. The staff is what keeps up coming back. Everyone is so kind. Humberto kept the entertainment exciting and the games were fun to play every day.

We came here for a 3rd time in 18 months, because it’s so easy from Texas, and the resort is fantastic! The food is good, the shows are great fun for the whole family, and the bungalow-style lodging in the jungle/beach feels so much better than traditional high-rise resorts. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and Mario at the concierge desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The diving with Dressel right from the resort is unbeatable, and the guides are amazing with a family. We also had a blast sailing Hobie cats up and down the coast and competing in the daily games in the pool and on the beach. I would give the people 10 stars if I could.

Another amazing experience at Iberostar in Cozumel! This is my family’s third time here in a year and a half. We normally try new places when we travel (and don’t normally make it to the beach three times in such a short time!) but we just love it here so much. It does not have a classic “resort” feel, but more of a jungle bungalow community. And the staff is next level. So nice. So accommodating. So positive and friendly. Our concierge, Mario, was an absolute delight. Everything you could ask for in a concierge. Though we rarely needed any service from him, he was always delightful to talk to when we passed through the lobby area. Great food and service at all the restaurants but our favorite food was definitely Maria’s tacos. She makes fresh, amazing tacos outside amid the lunch buffet every day and they are the beeeesssst. Our family came here to dive and this is an absolute paradise for just that. I’ve only dived here, Costa Rica, and Bonaire and this is definitely the BEST diving I’ve seen. The coral structures and wildlife are phenomenal. And the Dressel dive shop is perfectly convenient with fantastic staff. We’ve loved every guide we’ve had on our three trips here. All the dives have been great but the Palancar caves were out of this world. I feel like there is so much to say about our stays here that my true review would be a book’s length. But we’ve been here three times in 1 1/2 years and plan to return, so hopefully that sums it up pretty well.
