Iberostar Waves Cozumel is a diver's and nature-lover's paradise set along a spectacular stretch of white sandy beach on Mexico's largest island. Pros: - Food was delicious for Carribean. It lives up to the four star Carribean standard. If you are expecting North American four star you will be dissappointed. Mexican food was great. The American BBQ and oriental were dissappointing. - Daytime enterainment was amazing. Monzy and Jerry were great with trivia, archery, shooting and ninja maze course. - Rooms were clean and the issue we had with the safe batteries was delt with fast. - Nice snorkling right off the beach. Neutral: - The beach is all coral so you cannot walk in without water shoes. Nothing the resort can do about it as it is a protected reef. Cons: - The night time enterainment was lame. There was a spectactular fire show on the beach one night. All the other nights shows sucked. The resort needs to step up night time shows. - The artifical beach lacked sand, we occassional stubbed toes on rocks. More sand is needed.

Winding down from another two week vacation at Iberostar Cozumel Mexico. This is our sixth stay here and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! We love the beautiful setting here with bright colored palapa, comfortable rooms and beds, nice, hot showers and lush grounds! There is always something good to eat here with 4 different restaurants and a beach snack bar. I like to eat healthy and I was very impressed with all of the healthy choices. Definitely have choices for anyone. We love the proximity of the beautiful reefs and dive shop right on the grounds. But the thing that makes this place the best is the great staff! A special shout out to our concierge and amigoTony Domingas for making our stay here extra special!!! Also the wait staff are terrific: special thanks to Wilbert and Alfonzo for their genuine service with a smile! We can’t wait for our next visit!!!
