unpleasant odors, tired plumbing fixtures, needs a refresh badly.
We were in the smaller tower, perhaps the taller one was better.
after the first trip up (fourth floor) We avoided the elevator except for when leaving with our luggage because of the overwhelming odor.
Cookies at Check in were delicious, pool (nice bar) was acceptable. The bridge to beach was great.
$40 "resort fee" gets you towels at the pool...
Our check in person was was very cordial.

I had a wonderful experience from valet to the cleaning lady that took care of my room each day. The people that work here are very kind and go out of their way to help you. The hotel including the rooms are very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend
Very fun and relaxing

Hey Everyone! We went to Florida at the end of August 2023 for a little getaway, and to go to a concert in Fort Lauderdale. It was a wonderful time from beginning to end. We stayed at Bahia Mar and was greeted by Berline. She was excellent! The whole stay was great. The room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel, but very well-kept. Berline - Ms Bahamas & Azeem - Mr. Jamaica assisted my husband, our family/friends and myself during our stay. They were very helpful, funny, accommodating & polite and made the experience well worth it! Also, the gentleman who assisted us with parking, Steven was excellent. He asked about our stay if he could assist with anything to make it better for us and provided water - cause it was HOT! Phenomenal employees. We will definitely book our next reservation there in the future. Thanks again, Berline, Azeem & Stephen!.

I cannot explain how fabulous our quick stay was at this perfect hotel- no, paradise!!! For context, our flight was delayed over and over again, then cancelled at 11:45pm after sitting on the tarmac for 2 hours. We immediately booked a room we could find and hopped in an Uber. I was a hospitality and tourism major in college so I’m very familiar with hotels and customer service and the roles and importance that each guest interaction can hold. I have a huge list of people to give shout outs to because I cannot even explain how FLOORED I was with our experience. Some things worth noting because I cannot organize all of this: our room was perfectly clean. Comfy bed, pretty view, quiet corner, very private. The grounds are perfection, a very easy walk to the pool or the beach from your room, the small snack shack on the property was perfect, the warm cookies at check in were out of this world delicious, the pool was PERFECT ambiance- we loved the steel drum musician at the dj shack, she was amazing!!!- the pool shower was a great touch, the FOOD at the pool was incredible, and the customer service was just immaculate. We had the chicken fingers at the pool, they were hot, fresh, perfectly crispy, and the chicken flaked apart like it was cooked by Gordon Ramsey himself. The front desk even held our luggage after checkout and let us change so we were able to enjoy our time between check out and our late flight.
Thank you to:
Antoinette at check in- you were so kind when we were so exhausted at midnight!! Thank for for your smiling face, happy personality, and the cookies.
Michael, Bryan, and Jose. The pool bar drinks were fabulous, and y’all were incredibly kind and seemed to really love where you work.
The guys setting up umbrellas and chairs on the beach- I forgot to grab your names but YOU GUYS, the beach would not have been enjoyable without your help.
Jessica and Theresa in guest accommodations- I know you have hard jobs but you two ladies were phenomenal. The fact that y’all were out on the pool deck checking on guests multiple times to see how you could improve our stay was so appreciated. You worked that pool deck back and forth to make sure you had spoken to each and every guest and heard them.
Bill, the food and beverage manager. We had multiple interactions with you. Despite your manager status, we watched as you ran around helping the bartenders deliver food and drinks, at one point I’m pretty sure I even witnessed you cooking, and when we stopped you to compliment you, you attributed all of your success TO YOUR TEAM. You sir, are an incredible manager and a true leader.
Our breakfast waiter at breezes- I’m so upset I forgot to grab your name, you were an angel and had impeccable service, you helped us decide on our breakfast orders and you were well trained and incredibly pleasant. Those waffles were delectable.
The marketing manager, Joseph? or Jonathan? You were standing outside the hotel and said a personal hello and goodbye, you thanked every guest as they walked out, offered to help with luggage, and even gave us some extra points on our Hilton account.
Despite there being a LARGE wedding on the grounds, we were made to feel important and taken care of. I’m not lying, the 13 hours we spent at this hotel was better than our whole week long honeymoon on a private estate in the Bahamas. I cried when we left and I’m not even kidding. We cannot wait to come back because we were just blown out of the water by all of you!!! Thank you for turning a terrible travel snafu into one of the best accidents.
