This hotel is absolutly beautiful. The staff is all very friendly and helpful! Specifically Joe at the concierge. He was incredibly helpful during our stay. The room was quite, very clean, bed was incredibly comfortable ( so much so, that we are actually looking to purchase the same mattress for our own home) We would definitly recommend.end staying here again!

I was here in January for the Orange Bowl. I am a Hilton Diamond Member with extensive travel experience at Hiltons. For some reason, the Diplomat feels the need to not let guests know that the hotel is currently under construction. The upper level infiniti pool is closed and there is constant banging going on that you can hear while at the pool. Every other time I have tried to book a hotel on Hilton's website there is a banner at the top of the page informing guests that a specific hotel is under construction. If I had known that the hotel was under construction I would have booked a different Hilton. I brought this up with management and all they said was "Construction is not noted on the Hilton or Diplomat website." You would think if part of the hotel is closed and there is construction going on that the hotel would inform their guests prior to arrival but the Diplomat has decided NOT to inform guests of this. I was offered a $75 credit for the hotel being under construction - this is not acceptable not is it sufficient as I would not have booked this hotel had I known this.

Maria spotted us wandering lost in lobby and came up to us offering a helping hand. We felt comfortable right away with her warm smile and she gave us not only instant directions and suggestions but walked us around the lobby showing us around our n a mini tour of the lobby attractions going over and beyond her job description.

keedy was an amazing help on the beach! very kind and helpful did a great job took great care of us. i would definitely recommend coming to the beach and getting a cabana if you ever get the chance the workers are all kind and very helpful. do check it out

We stayed here because we were coming for the orange bowl. So we had very little time to use the "resort" benefits. The room was beautiful! We had stayed at a hotel in south beach right before since we only had a few days. I definitely preferred this hotel to the marriott in south beach based on the hotel look, set up, etc... but both places had wonderful employees! The water at south beach was much warmer and clearer- but it was January so I'm not sure if it would've been different at another time of year. They gave you wristbands and im still not entirely sure why haha. We ate at Playa and our food was really good! I love that there was a QR Code in my room to be able to tip housekeeping! I never have cash! Unfortunately, they did not have that for valet. I felt so bad because I couldn't tip the guy who got my car when we were checking out. Again, it was beautiful, people were friendly, 15/20 min from airport, and just so many benefits. Again, I had very little time to enjoy the "resort" piece (which I obviously had to pay for) but it was a great place to stay!
