Three stars at best- bring your own hot sauce

The good Location: wow! Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Two beautiful pools. Third is for diamond members. The okay: Rooms are ok size. Three stars. Our view was great given we had upgraded to oceanfront. The staff did ok cleaning. One time they didn’t change sheet and the sand bugged us. Service: ok ok. Hit and miss with who you get. Felt you had to remind them your request to get it done. Even had to call front desk twice for towels when room service forgot to give us. Entertainment: ok ok. One night out of seven they had performers. They were great!! Most nights was a Dj limited to select music type and collection. Requests are not welcomed as we learnt. The bad: The food. The restaurants were disappointing. We tried all once and never went back. Ambiance was nice but the food disappointed especially at Taj and La Maision. The Italian one was decent but messed up the birthday cake we had ordered. They mixed up cakes with another party. It all speaks to lack of attention to details and accountability Buffet: first night we were there they made us question our decision to select royalton. The food was scarce at best to say. No one at cooking stations. Very limited selection. Hot cause was put most days. No jams at breakfast. We had to request each time and many things were not available Conclusion: this is a three star on beautiful grounds and island.
Gorgeous island - food not so much!

My husband and I were recently at this resort for 8 days the end of May. We were put into an adjoining room, which was not made known to us. The family next door was so noisy with the mother/mother-in low or nanny, whomever she was, being louder than the screaming children. The kids kept trying to open the door to our room. When they returned to their room later in the evening, they began moving furniture around. It was like they were in the same room as us. Needless to say, the door/walls in the adjoining rooms are paper thin. We had them move us to another room, which was a nightmare in itself, as they left our luggage in the old room after telling us that morning they would be getting it and bringing it to the front desk and storing it for us. Good thing we happened to be on the same cart that took the new guests to our old room since our luggage was STILL THERE! Housekeeping was so disappointing, as we went 4 days without having our room cleaned and literally had to go and steal towels from the cart because even when we called, we never got clean linens. The next "thumbs down" I will give them is for the food. The buffet was the same nearly every single night, even though they say it is a different theme every night. And, the dinner buffet had most of the same food from the lunch buffet. Most days, the bacon on the buffet was not even cooked, with the fat still being glistening white, the fruit was always empty and they were always out of half of the stuff for omelets. And this was with us going to breakfast every morning around 8 am or before. The Indian and French restaurants were terrible. The Italian restaurant was very good. We had the Vegetable Minestrone soup, caprese salad, Bolognese, lasagna and the veal dish, along with the peach dessert and the cannoli. Everything was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about Nibbles, the "snack" shack by the pool. It was amazing! They had the best jerk wings we have ever eaten. We had the wings, pulled pork sandwich, beef quesadilla, pork tacos and the chicken ceasar wrap. ALL were delicious, but especially the wings and the pulled pork meat. To a couple of their SUPERSTAR employees - Joanna at the pool by Nibbles was the BEST bartender/server when it came to drinks. She NEVER forgot what we were drinking; and also Kessicia at Nibbles was the most pleasant and best server! These two made our vacation, as well as several families/couples that we met, into an unforgettable experience! Do the full island tour, you will not be disappointed and the lunch at Bellemont Estates was better than the food at the resort with the exception of Nibbles. The water was amazing and the views were spectacular. The people on this island were so friendly and we never experienced anything but kindness. We would definitely go back to Grenada, but not to Royalton.

Shoutout to Terry with a Y from the Vibe Team! My family and I recently visited this resort, and Terry truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcomed, and entertained. She constantly checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed, whether it was fresh towels, water, or even a drink from the bar when our cups were empty. Terry kept the energy alive around the pool with fun games, trivia, and interactive activities. We especially enjoyed her local language class, which was both educational and entertaining. Her positive attitude and infectious energy brought so much life to the resort. You could genuinely feel the difference on the days she wasn’t working. Everyone on the entertainment team is great, but Terry’s enthusiasm and dedication truly stood out. The resort itself is beautiful and conveniently located near the airport. We also thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The dance sessions led by Terry and her team were a highlight of our stay and created some wonderful memories for our family. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, welcoming, and professional, but Terry with a Y left the biggest impression on us. Her passion for what she does shines through in every interaction. Thank you, Terry, for making our vacation so special. We will always remember the amazing energy you brought to our experience! And we will definitely be back!
NOT your typical Royalton.

I must say I was very disappointed with my stay at this Royalton property. I have stayed at two other Royalton resorts in the past and had positive experiences, so I did not think it was necessary to read reviews before booking. Unfortunately, I was greatly mistaken. I booked my stay along with five friends, who each reserved their own rooms. Out of all of us, I believe only two were satisfied with their accommodations. Considering the price we paid, the experience was far below expectations. Upon arriving at my room, I was shocked to find that it looked nothing like the photos advertised on the website. The images were very misleading. I have stayed in motels that were in better condition. My bed was poorly made and looked as though someone had already been lying in it before my arrival. Thankfully, while I was on my way to the front desk to complain, I was approached by a staff member named Errol. After I explained the situation, he personally brought fresh linens and properly remade the bed. His professionalism and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the room was also not properly cleaned. The floors were dirty, and overall housekeeping standards appeared to be lacking. The food was another disappointment. While there were some decent meals earlier in the trip, the buffet food during the last three days of our stay was not good at all. I traveled to celebrate my birthday and had noted this in advance. While I was not particularly concerned about receiving any special decorations, three of my friends repeatedly requested a birthday banner on my behalf. It was not delivered until the day after my birthday. To the hotel's credit, they did leave a small birthday gift in my room, which was a thoughtful gesture. The saving grace of this resort was its staff. Despite the issues, many employees were friendly, professional, and did their best to work with what they had. Errol, Dontae, and Karmesha at the front desk stood out for their excellent customer service and genuine efforts to assist guests. I also visited the spa and had a massage with Christine, who provided an excellent experience. She was professional, skilled, and one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, while the staff did their best and deserve recognition for their efforts, the condition of the rooms, cleanliness, food quality, and lack of attention to guest requests made this a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay at this property again.

The 3 irate guests at the counter making complaints should have clued me in on what was to come. Check in was long, slow and painful. Note that your credit card is charged $250 USD in case there are incidentals at the end of your stay . The staff is greatly lacking in customer service skills in every department. Over an hour later we were finally checked in and taken to our rooms, we were tired and hungry and needed to get something to eat. Only find out our room Door doesn’t close! We were told to come back to the front desk to have our keys reprogrammed, we walked all the way back only to return to our room and the lock still was not working. A staff member came to check because she was sure we were not closing it correctly, only to find the lock was actually broken, I asked for a room change and she immediately told me there are no rooms in my category. And we should go ahead to go eat and leave the room unlocked! Absolutely not!!! 4 hours later a maintenance guy came and fixed the door. Then when we finally went to get something to eat options were limited. The dining room opens for dinner at 6 and if you get there 6.30 there will be almost no food, and they take for ever to refill anything! For breakfast there is always wait to get in the dining room as staff takes forever to clean and clear tables. What food options are available are horrible. The food all round was terrible. The only half decent meal We got was at the Italian restaurant and the French restaurant. Whenever our room was cleaned there was never any Towels. We have spent A week here and have not seen a hint of the luxury or 5star service that this resort is supposed to be!! The bartenders do not know how to make drinks and seem to not have and bar tending training the drinks are terrible!!! The beach is rocky and horrible
