We went to Royalton Grenada for 1 week in August for a wedding. While we travelled with a large group, my family consists of 5 of us — my husband, I, twins who are 18 months, and a toddler who is 4. We've been to other Royalton resorts, and this has been by far the worst resort I've been to in my travelling days. It's okay if you're travelling as a couple or with friends, but for kids, do not recommend! 1. We asked for 2 cribs for our twins. On the first night, while our baby was sleeping in the crib, it broke — one side completely came apart. Had we not heard the loud bang, if our baby had turned to that side she could have fallen through or gotten her leg stuck. When we brought this up to Diamond Club, they didn't even want to acknowledge the situation, offered no apology, and showed no regard for what had just happened. All they said was to go to guest services. 2. They ran out of milk by day 3. You're a family-friendly resort that welcomes kids, but you ran out of milk? We had to go to the grocery store ourselves to buy milk for our babies. 3. Golf carts were out of service for one whole night. You have multiple buildings and only 1 golf cart running back and forth — clearly not equipped to handle a full resort. 4. On the day we were leaving, the golf carts came and took all the luggage for Diamond Club guests. When we asked if it was coming back for us, they said they were busy. We had 3 kids with us. 5. Some of the staff were extremely rude. On the day we were leaving, my daughter fell asleep on me in the lobby while we waited for our shuttle. There's no AC in the lobby and it was extremely hot, so I asked someone at the front if I could sit in the salon since it had AC, and they said okay. A few minutes later, two ladies from the spa came in and asked what I was doing there. I explained my daughter was asleep and overheating, and that the front had told me I could wait there. She rudely told me I couldn't be in there without an appointment, said she didn't know who told me I could, and rolled her eyes — as if I was sitting there for fun with an 18-month-old asleep on me in an empty salon. Throughout our stay, our babies went in and out of the salon area for a few minutes at a time, and no other staff seemed to care. 6. Our babies obviously couldn't sit still through a full meal, so we asked the buffet if we could get some butter pasta to eat just outside. It took them 40 minutes to bring 1 plate of pasta, and we had to follow up 3 times. Our Diamond Club butlers were great and we were very happy with them — that was genuinely the highlight. But overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone, especially families with young children.

In general we enjoyed our holidays, but Royalton management needs definetly changes . people were very friendly. Fitness Team was FANTASTIC and v good organized .(nelson/Aquinos and All yoga teachers were vvv good. Vibe team-some were good but after dinner party they were more for themselves than intermingling with the guests. That was what many guests felt like ..Miracle was lovely. Activity-Bracelet making - she said no more than 15 beads--- even a kids wrist needs more beads! why offer something what gives you bad reviews! Food and drinks - mediocre -restaurants not good organized. if you don't have mint and lime and offer mojito ! or in Italien restaurant No herbs .OLIVE oil or garlic! In general there was always some ingredients missing !! No fresh juices in a country where when you step outside ist lush green and full of fruits und vegetables . French and Nibls was good. -Main restaurant was not so good... local Grenada day food was so-so. The manager couldn't organize olive oil/garlic oregano or any FRESH herbs like parsley for 3-4 days after I requested him. one night I was lucky to have garlic but no olive oil for pasta aglio olio -(( then there were shrimps in a pan and I wanted them too for my pasta but was told that ist for a another guests! so asked whether they differentiate between guests?(we were Diamond club too) an asked for the manager to come. All of a sudden came an ans.- ok take it.. YOU ARE BRINGING US IN TROUBLE!!!!! what was that? Bars- wer good but as said had ingredients missing. Room Cleaning was a catastrophe - everyday something missing...no response when one called housekeeping! Butler service was ok Rohan was v aktiv and vigilant and helpful. Jason needs more experience. But to be fair they had many things to do at the same time and forgot sometimes to take care f thing they noted -maybe here something should be done fron management . in general- nice hotel, but needs better management and customer friendliness from managers.. I am not sure whether I go there again! people working in hotel were very friendly and polite. Food outside is fantastic(Aquarium/Dodgy dock etc). so all ink. doesn't make senses you don't taste any authentic!

We just got back from a one-week stay (Aug 19-26) at Royalton Grenada. We did NOT have Diamond Club and we were in building 11 with incredible views of the property and sea and the capital city in the distance. We couldn’t have had a better stay, from beginning to end, it was wonderful! The grounds are incredible and the beach is spectacular. We found every staff member to be smiling and polite and helpful. We ate at the buffet for lunch and dinner every day and we always found plenty to choose from. They excel in their breads, pastries and desserts compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. We usually don’t go back to the same resort when travelling but my husband and I were so enchanted we are already talking about returning, we just loved it so much. Thank you Royalton, thank you Grenada!

Quame is an amazing entertainer. He is absolutely fantastic with the kids and he’s extremely helpful.

Best part of my week was the Swedish massage administered by Sue. She was very good and worked to relieve kinks I didn't realize I had. Great good Sue
