A DUMP

428vincel on Mar 28, 2026

We are here now and staying in the Presidential sweet. Well that’s what they call it I would call it a room at the Red Roof Inn. The food is typical all inclusive food. Just food to fill your belly nothing good. The staff here mill around to look busy but do almost nothing all day except flirt with one another and the guest. I can only describe it like piranhas looking for their next meal that’s how bad it is. Constantly starring and seeming like they are looking for a pick up. Not very attentive at all. We would never stay here again and we would not recommend anyone else stay here. Our friends that we were with have Marriott Ambassador status and the way they were treated I would have left and found a different hotel. I would seriously consider this place a dump.

Shout out to Terry from the vibe team she made my trip memorable The staff were amazing and friendly and the night entertainment was really good I especially enjoyed the st Patrick’s day foam party but after the entertainment finishes at 11pm there’s really nothing else going on. the resort itself is beautiful, I would definitely be back!

Relaxing vacation in Grenada

Daydream639177 on Mar 26, 2026

My husband and I stayed here for a week in March. We had a great time. A special thanks to Edson and Lindon, our butlers for taking extra special care of us. We just wanted a nice relaxing vacation. The beach was great. We snorkeled just offshore and it was beautiful. The grounds of the resort are very nice with an area for birdwatching, which we love. If you are into the loud music and the all day party atmosphere, this is not the place. If you want to relax by day and have fun at night, this is where you want to go.

Good but should be much better

A little disaapointing for a luxury hotel. First the positives the staff were all very friendly and worked hard. They went out of the way to help and service was nearly always very quick. Very little waits for drinks or queues in the buffet. Breakfast buffet was good especially omelettes and selection of bread and pastries. Room was clean and housekeeping very good. Able to get sunbeds fairly easily on most days but could do with more sunshades. The rest was a mixed bag and inconsistent. Entertainment team were enthusiastic but the advertising of events was non existent. We stumbled on a few things happening that were not on the entertainment schedule on the app such as a rum tasting, day time beach BBQ, band at the pool etc. Evening entertainment not always as on the app. White night for instance did not happen. They should ensure they update events schedule. Drinks were mainly good but no cocktail menu and inconsistent mixing of cocktails. Only ate twice in buffet and did not enjoy it food was not kept hot or refilled when items ran out. Specialty restaurants were ok but booking system is cumbersome having to book on app 48 hours in advance which means that on arrival there is no availability on first night and could only get 9pm on next two. Indian was far too hot for us despite ordering a mild korma whilst others complained of dishes having no spice at all. Liked the Italian 2 out of the 3 visits but the first one (at 9pm) was awful. A long wait and the mushroom risotto was more like a dry rice pudding with a few mushrooms underneath. Went to the French 3 times and food good each time, the place however lacks atmosphere. Lunches at Nibbles on the beach were good and the best meal we had was there in the evening. However nobody tells you it’s open to all in the evenings on a first come first served basis with no need to book! The app says it’s Diamond Club only! We requested a late check as we were not being picked up until late afternoon but this was not available which is fair enough but then were told that there were no facilities available to shower or change in after having to leave the room at midday. No courtesy room or shower in the spa available. We were told to use the pool shower! Have never been to a hotel where such basic services are not available especially one which claims to be 5 star. Overall a lack of communication and consistency lets the place down. I would not go back as it lacks anything special enough.
