Fitness team

LauraineA (maidstone kent) on Feb 08, 2025

We have had a wonderful stay so far. I need to especially mention Ronisha and Kelson in the fitness team. They were both so enthusiastic, friendly, and encouraging in all the different fitness areas that I tried and even gave me confidence to try a water challenge I would never had thought possible for someone that cannot swim very well. They are a real credit to the team and hotel. Many thanks

Overwhelmingly disappointed

Mike R on Feb 08, 2025

Thorough review coming when we get home but until this. Just had pizza at the diamond club and it had hotdog slices for the protein. A butler looks at me and says “that is some fine pizza”. I was like “dude it is hotdog pizza” Disgusted I left and went to the diamond club bar for a Mojito. My drink was full of completely brown and wilted mint. We have stopped eating on the resort which was a $60 USD drive to get to the next resort with good food. All the guests in the pools and ocean bond over discussing how horrible all the food is here. People are great but come on. We have stayed at many Autograph properties but this visit will break that streak. Premium sell job but a travel lodge vibe.

An enjoyable stay at Royalton

davidkA7216DE (Bristol, United Kingdom) on Feb 08, 2025

We stayed at Royalton for 10 days with friends and had a very good holiday. We didn't go for Diamond Club so can't comment on this service. We were put off a little by some of the poor reviews prior to the visit but decided to keep an open mind and booked anyway - I'm pleased we did. Our experience was very positive overall. We had a spacious and well equipped room which was cleaned every day to an excellent standard. The food in the main buffet was perhaps more limited than some resorts but what was available was always hot and well presented. We also ate at the Indian and French restaurants and had decent meals at both. The beach was fabulous and great for snorkelling - it's best to wear beach shoes as some of the shoreline is a little rocky but there is plenty of sandy shoreline which is very natural looking with palm trees etc. We always managed to get sun beds and frequently had waitress service for drinks on the beach. So overall we would definitley return to this hotel. If you want perfection and absolute luxury then maybe you should be looking at Sandals rather than Royalton at twice the price. We felt we had good value for money!

Class with Roneisha

Marsha F on Feb 08, 2025

I did my Boot camp class with Roneisha and I couldn’t ask for a better instructor. She was amazing with everything, she ensured that the energy level was up to max while considering my injury. I will return to Royalton Grenada for more of her classes. Very motivational in what she does.

Planning on coming back!

angie b (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin) on Feb 08, 2025

I stayed for 6 days last week and I was in building 11. I was not diamond club. This resort is pretty good for the money. Like all resorts, there’s good and bad, and reviews are opinions. Overall, I really liked this resort and I am planning a return trip and booking this resort. I read other reviews from people that said that the resort ran out of food and alcohol frequently. I paid it no mind. Indeed, they ran out of stuff. I am a HUGE coffee drinker. I was pretty shocked that the coffee shop ran out of coffee almost everyday that I was there but I was able to get it at any of the restaurants on the resort. The buffet is smaller than what I normally see at any of the resorts I have stayed at. I typically am an early riser but one morning, I slept a little longer than I usually do and the breakfast buffet was slim picking at 9:30 am. It was like that for all the meals actually, if you got to the buffet on the later side during the scheduled meal times. But the food was pretty good. We ate at the Italian restaurant, the French restaurant, and the Indian restaurant. If you go to the Italian one, don’t get the lasagne. It was hard and not very good in my opinion. It tasted like it was old and perhaps had been reheated. They did run out of a few alcohol choices. One day, they had run out of beer at like 3 pm at one of the beach bars. And I had over heard another couple complaining about how they had run out of wine two nights in a row. Our room was AMAZING! Let me say that I usually choose the cheapest room because I am there for the beach and I could care less about my room. As long as I have a clean room, a bed, and a bathroom I’m happy. We had great views from our room! I was very surprised with the room I got! The views were great! The air conditioning was COLD! I loved it!!! We didn’t have any issues with our room smelling damp or moldy. Now, keep in mind, there are no elevators, and there are a lot of stairs! That’s probably why I only gained 1 pound on this vacation. ?? I had heard that there were elevators in the diamond club but I cannot confirm that since I didn’t stay in the diamond club. The beach was very good! Especially the area on the right side of Grazie and the elevated pool. We had no issues with finding a beach chair at any time of day that we went there. The majority of the staff were friendly. Most of the time. There was a couple that didn’t really seem to be too happy to be there but I get it, if you have crabby customers complaining that certain things weren’t in stock, it gets kinda hard to be happy all the time. All in all, I really enjoyed our stay and like I said earlier, I would book this resort again and plan to do so. I only gave it 4 stars because of the slim pickings at the main buffet if you got there a little late. I understand that they need to start setting up for the next meal but people on vacation like to sleep in a little bit from time to time.
