Not too bad but could of been more updated. Would of been nice if the phone worked, fan in bathroom and information regarding restaurants, attractions.

The Banyan has been my ultimate favorite place to stay in Waikiki for past 35 years because it's roomy with full kitchen, long balcony, parking spots, and best of all, 3 brand new hot tubs, a pool, tennis court, 9 bbqs and the biggest koi fish around. It's on the quiet side of Waikiki at Kapiolani Park.

Perfect hotel for our family, with all needed amenities. We appreciated having doors closing the bedroom from the living room/kitchen area, so we could continue our evening while the kids were asleep. We liked that there was a washing machine on our floor, being there for 10 days. Hotel is ideally located two blocks from the beach and not directly in the nightlife agitation, which is good with kids. Staff is very friendly. The biggest wow is the view of the Hawaiian Mountains we got from our room, so beautiful, I'm not sure I will get the opportunity to have that kind of a view from my balcony again in my lifetime. Truly breathtaking. The only negative point is that the room is in need for renovations and could be a little cleaner, but was clean overall. Thank you for making our vacation unforgettable.

This hotel has a good price point, but the inside of the room is beyond dated, and the furnishings are so old that I would never sit on them.

Don’t believe the pictures that are posted online! This “hotel” has two towers, only Tower One looks new/has been renovated. Tower Two is old and run down.
