Family of four stayed for 10 nights. The check-in experience was a bit disappointing—we had to wait until 3:40pm to access our room. It’s worth noting there’s no daily housekeeping. For stays of 7 nights, one full service is included (ours was done on day 2), and you can request a light clean by 4pm the day prior. Pool and room towels can be exchanged with housekeeping on level 4. 4 lifts made the wait time short was also a postive. The location is about a 5-minute walk to Kuhio Beach. However, it’s at the quieter end of Waikiki, so if you’re after a more central spot, this may not be ideal—for example, it’s around a 1.6km walk to the Cheesecake Factory. On the plus side, it’s a 20-minute walk to Kaimana Beach, where you can wade out and snorkel among plenty of fish. The pool is a good size, with ample outdoor space. Each floor has one washing machine and dryer ($2.25 per use), and both worked well during our stay. One thing to be aware of: our room for four included one king bed, with the second bed being a pull-out sofa, which made the living area feel a bit cramped. Overall, the property was clean, but the reception team came across as somewhat unenthusiastic, which impacted the overall experience.

During my stay on April 7, 2026 I reported cockroaches and bed bugs in my room. I had to inspect three rooms before landing on the third room that finally did not show signs of bed bugs. Considering this health concern, I requested a refund only for the nights I stayed in the bug infested room; I was more than willing to pay for the night I was in a clean, suitable room. The hotel property denied my request and claimed they conducted an inspection to ensure there were no insects or other health hazards; however, I know this to be false (I had to dispose of two cockroaches myself) and I have photos as well. I will be reporting this to local health authorities.

We booked our stay through Hotels.com and for three nights our room leaked through the windows and ceiling. We had a half inch of standing water in both bedrooms and the bathroom for three nights and it smelled terrible. Water was leaking on the bed, and we had to move the mattress to the living room to sleep. The front desk admitted they had moved someone out of that room the week before for the same reason. Apparently, it is a well-known fact that all the rooms in the "14 block" leak. We spoke with a manager that said they were all experiencing severe water damage. We asked the front desk staff to move us daily but were told there were no rooms available. On day three they said they had a new room for us. We spent half the day packing to move to the new room at 5pm (it wasn’t ready until 5:30). The new room (3014) was as wet and smelled as bad as the one we were in (3414). We were patient. We never raised our voices and we were always polite to the staff until then, when my son, who was getting married the next day, loudly told the front desk it was unacceptable. The staff then miraculously found three clean, dry rooms we could choose from. The rest of our stay was lovely. The staff were friendly and kind for the most part and had they moved us sooner I would have no complaints. I wish I could upload the videos of 3414 to my review.

I've stayed here several times and will always continue. Perfect location. Its not on the Beach but that's what I like. Its only a couple of blocks off and it gives you the opportunity to walk the streets to search for great food locations etc. The staff is always very friendly, personable and very accommodating. I stayed during this last big storm. Of course there were issues as with absolutely everywhere else but the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I will never stay anywhere else.

I highly recommend this hotel! I was here with my Family and everyone loved it , clean luxurious, affordable, highly recommended to everyone
