Go for the breakfast on the 21st floor wow ! We love this place and the beach candy included (ask about this) great rooms and views and location !!! ??

They slipped a $500+ bill under our door in the middle of the night for smoking violation. We had a baby in the room and we don't smoke. We asked for a manager for 2 days and didn't get one. It took over 2 hours to check out. Well traveled and this is the worst stay I've ever had.

This is a large hotel (at least 25 stories) and quite an old building that periodically undergoes renovations. Our rooms (3 beds in unit) were spacious, as well as the bathrooms, but there was rust and peeling paint visible, especially around the edges of doors. Hardware in shower/ bath was also aged. In addition, beware there are noticeable gaps between doors and doorframes that allow noises, light, and wind to come in. When we opened the balcony door, we literally couldn’t get our room door to shut fully and latch. The most odd feature of the hotel is the elevators. They are activated by a room keycard BEFORE you step inside. You also put in your floor number before getting in. There are no buttons inside the elevators. They are a long wait and less efficient than normal. Also, if you have a car, it must be valet parked. There is a lesser-than-capacity pull-in area on the street level, and they may turn you away and make you park elsewhere. Cool features: water station that provides cold and hot water, lightweight water bottles in room to borrow during your stay. Sun Bum sunscreen and lotion tubs, swimming pool, right next to beach and in the middle of everything. They have weekly lei lessons, yoga ?? , meetups with astronomer, surfing ????? lessons?? This hotel has a lot of young people and a lot of those with interest in surfing. ??

Stayed one night before flying out. Room was old and basic. Uncomfortable bed. Way overpriced. Bizzare elevator system that routinely meant 10 minute waits.

So Hawaii is expensive. This place is nice. 5 eats in the same building. Good food too. Highly recommendthe coconut club for an upstairs breakfast. 55 per day per room, but was excellent. Each day is different meal. 3 different main courses with a buffet. We did that 3 days for breakfast with our family of 4. Coffee, fresh juice, fruit and breakfast buffet. The market downstairs is the same pricing as everywhere on the strip. Plus they have some exclusive snacks. Coconut chips. They clean your room every other day unless requested. Make a wish sent us here. We are on the 17th floor and have a beautiful ocean view. Not the entire ocean, but surfers galore. The west shore has perfect view of the stars at night and are across the pier. Swimming with a rockwall on the beach kept the big waves from running our family over. The front desk workers are very pelasant, helped us and seemed genuinely happy to help us out. We asked them for many recommendations, and loved all of them. Vallet is the only way to park your vehicle, and it is 60 per day. So be cautious of driving in with a vehicle. Overall so happy with this stay. Bathroom is a little small for 4 people, but, we made it work. Ice machine available. Pool open to 8pm. Great bar in hotel called tiki's, great spot. I just absolutley loved everything about our stay here.
