Good but not great

Enjoye the location close to beach, shops and food options. Hotel staff were great and welcoming. Hotel is getting aged and some maintenance items required attention.

Not worth the stay

Joanna S on May 09, 2026

Construction is loud, couldn't use the balcony they lock it because of construction, but I wasn't told before I booked. The A/C in the room was not working-it kept completely turning off after 5 min and wouldnt turn back on for hours. The trash cans has not been emptied. The A/C is what really bothered me. We only stayed one night in this hotel, we stayed in two other ones during the week we were there, and I would never stay here again, the other hotels on the island we stayed at were amazing. I am not a hard person so please.

Dissapointing Stay

christian c (Tucson, Arizona) on May 07, 2026

Location was the best part of the hotel. The staff was not the greatest. We had a new Hat and some earring go missing from our hotel room. We reached out to front desk but nothing came from it. The food was mediocre and very repetitive, Oh and beware of the birds when you eat your breakfast (you have been warned). Our hotel room had a huge hole on the balcony so we where denied access to it. The A/C was hit or miss with the temperature never being consistent. The Laundry room was disappointment, the washing machines leaked all over our luggage since the laundry room is small, had to wait over 3 hours to wash our clothes. a blow dryer could have dried our clothes better than the dryer that they had. The pool is tiny and awkward but this was expected. Overall, not great and will not be staying at this hotel on our next visit.

Big disappointment. Not a relaxing Hawaiian getaway and overpriced for what you get.

I don’t think I will be staying here again. While we had a nice time with the family, seven of us were traveling and stayed in three different rooms so we were dropping a good chunk of money, the hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Not sure if it is always this busy, but it was very chaotic and the limited number of elevators were very slow. I had to wait over 10 minutes trying to get to breakfast - it appeared that the housekeeping also used the guest elevators, which only added to its problem. Not sure what happened to the service elevators. . Also BEWARE of the bar prices. No prices were listed on the menu and it was my bad not to inquire before ordering, but I was completely shocked by the overpriced beverages even for Waikiki standards . It was during their happy hour but a basic glass of their house Chardonnay came out to $25 with taxes, etc., before tip. - we found out only draft beer is included in happy hour. I am even comparing it to the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, which we had stayed at a few days prior(much better experience ) and this Hyatt place was actually more expensive! It’s not like you’re paying for a nice location or a view. You’re sitting in a hallway thoroughfare lobby. It was not all bad. The staff was very pleasant and tried to be accommodating and the included breakfast was decent although the combination breakfast eating and pool area that was between the buildings was very basic, like a like a wind tunnel and kind of depressing. Not sure what we would have done if it was raining as there was no cover.. .It just was not a relaxing experience and overpriced for what you get.
