We recently vacationing in Oahu and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. It was an amazing expoerience and I would stay there again! We were treated with kindness by everyone we came in contact with and we were always greeted with a genuine smile!

Overall excellent! Very professional and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Wonderful amenities (e.g., beach chair and towel rentals). Best location. Will choose this resort again in future if price is still acceptable. Highly recommended

I’d like to start with the positive aspects of this hotel. The location is good, very close to the beach. They also rent out beach supplies (chairs, boards). They have free coffee and tea and a microwave in the lobby. The breakfast was nice and we also appreciated the water filling stations. We got room 237. Avoid this room at all costs. There is no noise barrier between you or the action on the street. You hear EVERYTHING. I was so exhausted from the lack of sleep, I felt like I had Covid. The room was spacious but I would rather sleep in a closet then in room 237. The room was clean, there was some wear and tear but, that’s to be expected. We aren’t big complainers so we just sucked it up. It’s a lesson learned that nice guys DO finish last. I thought that as a discoverist, we would get a better room. Next time, I will be that demanding customer instead.

Spacious rooms, ocean front was extremely nice with a good size balcony to enjoy the ocean breeze and the beautiful city lights at night. Small pool but kids seem to enjoy it. Restaurant food was moderate but the breakfast buffet was great!
A very pleasant stay and experience for our Pearl Anniversary…

The place is very nice, clean, in a very good location, the beach is a walking distance, and with lots of restaurants nearby. The room 3006 is spacious, with the ocean view, the bed was comfortable, beddings were clean, the bedroom/bathroom amenities were generously provided.
The restaurant on site Shore has good food and drink selections, pricey but reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful, except for one server who needs a little bit of training on how to respond politely without being rude to customers when asked about a box for leftovers, I didn’t want to throw it to be thrown away. It’s understandable that they don’t allow take out during dine in ( breakfast buffet), but it’s not ok to sound mean when the cost is enough to cover a small box with some food. Everyone was super friendly except for this one woman.
There are restaurants and coffee shops downstairs, spa and massage parlor, also swimming pool and gym. They provide chairs and clean towels to to the beach.
There are Uber and taxis to and from anywhere in the island. One has to instruct specifically the pick up point as the hotel is big. We picked the green awning on the Koa Ave, as there’s only one the hotel has.
