Great and convenient location. Warm and helpful staff. Wonderful Club Lounge for those that have access to the club lounge.

the bathroom is too small. the network is bad with weak connection. the entrance of this hotel is not easy to find. during check in, the frontdesk gave us a wrong room number and we had to call back after failed to unclock the wrong room. Also, as a GoH reservation, they did’t ask our check out time or late check out needs. besides, we had several big luggages and we do valet parking, but no one or bellman helped us to handle our luggages.

Another wonderful trip to Hawaii for my birthday week. And the Hyatt Regency Waikiki did not disappoint. Upgraded to an oceanfront room was a nice surprise as well as accommodating a late checkout. Kudos to the Housekeeping & Front Desk for their “doing more” attitude. Will be returning next year to this ideal location.
Seamless Globalist Experience: Jr. Suite Upgrade, Great Tech & Aloha Spirit

I recently visited Honolulu for a solo trip in November 2025, and the Hyatt Regency Waikiki delivered an exceptional experience that perfectly blended digital convenience with warm personal service. Check-In & Recognition: As a World of Hyatt Globalist, I was thrilled to see my upgrade to a 1 King Bed Ocean Front View Jr. Suite visible in the app before the 3:00 PM check-in. Upon arrival, Marie at the front desk confirmed everything with a warm welcome. She was incredibly helpful, walking me through my benefits and securing a 1:00 PM late checkout, which made for a leisurely departure. The Room & Technology: The suite itself was fantastic. The layout features an innovative custom console that separates the sleeping and sitting areas; a smart design that makes the room feel very spacious. Functionally, the room is a winner: - Tech: I loved having Chromecast on the TV; it was easy to stream my own music and relax. - Comfort: The air conditioning was whisper-quiet—a huge plus that isn't always a given in Waikiki hotels. Dining: The breakfast buffet was generous and high quality. I especially loved that they included plenty of local Hawaiian options rather than just standard continental fare. Bottom Line: From the pre-arrival communication to the app experience and the excellent on-property staff, this hotel runs like a well-oiled machine. Highly recommended for Globalists and anyone valuing a seamless, high-quality stay.

Carpet had a significant roll across the entire room, wall paper was peeling in several places and room right next to elevator. Room did not have a microwave oven. Valet were very friendly, nice exercise gym and location to beach and shops amazing.
