Our family of six had a fantastic spring break stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. The location is perfect, directly across from Waikiki Beach and within walking distance of countless restaurants, shops, and attractions. As Hyatt Globalists, we felt genuinely valued throughout our stay. We used a Suite Upgrade Award for a One-Bedroom Waikiki View Suite and had a second room booked separately. While an upgrade wasn't available immediately, the team ensured our rooms were on the same floor and continued monitoring availability, eventually upgrading our second room to a 2 Queen Beds Ocean Front room for the final five nights of our stay. A special thank you to HJ, the VIP Manager, for his outstanding communication and proactive service. He coordinated our rooms, arranged thoughtful welcome amenities, checked in on our arrival, and even secured and held the oceanfront room for us once it became available. He also followed up during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We would also like to recognize Alaina from VIP Relations, whom we've had the pleasure of working with over several visits during the past five years. She always goes above and beyond, from coordinating special requests and arranging handwritten welcome notes to ensuring our family's stay is seamless. During this visit, she even took the time to stop by the Club Lounge and spend time catching up with our family, which was greatly appreciated. We were also celebrating a birthday and were welcomed with thoughtful notes, snacks, and amenities that made the occasion even more special. The Club Lounge was another highlight, with excellent breakfast offerings and a welcoming staff. What sets this property apart is its people. The genuine hospitality from HJ, Alaina, and the entire Hyatt Regency Waikiki team is why we continue to return. We look forward to our next visit. Mahalo for another memorable stay! ??

2 night stay with a suite upgrade award gave us lots of space however note that certain aspects of the room are dated. Friendly staff at check-in, great service from Mike at the pool who accommodated our family with shady and sunny spots. If you have access, the regency lounge was exceptional, staff worked so well as a team to ensure food was fresh and kept things tidy. Our anniversary was recognized with a box of chocolates. We will be back!

An amazing hotel celebrating its 50th year. Have stayed here every year for 10 years and the hotel never disappoints. Great location close to the beach, the restaurants and all a tourist needs. Staff are welcoming and professional and quick to respond to a client’s requests. Lots of activities to take part in and large, comfortable, and well equipped rooms. Looking forward to my next stay.

Close to everything on Waikiki beach…shopping, restaurants etc. all within walking distance. Beautiful sunset over the water seen from our room. Large room with King bed. Large sink area. Even had a toilet with a heated seat and a bidet all in one!! My grandson in the second room next to us thought it was a game to use the toilet with a hand held control!! He is 10 years old and easily entertained!!

We had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt Regency. I know some say it's dated but I prefer the word classic. We had a spacious room overlooking the ocean that more than did the job for my family of four. Everything was clean and up to date for my liking. The pool is a bit small but it's well taken care of, and the massive Waikiki beach across the road more than makes up for it. The hotel also provides chairs and boards, but not umbrellas. We were also fortunate to have access to the Club Lounge. Here we had breakfast and evening appetizers that can help you save money in expensive Hawaii. Wine and beer in the evening at the lounge were half the price compared to other restaurants on Waikiki. It's busy there for a reason but we made use of it every day of our stay. What truly brings the Hyatt above the rest is the service of its staff. Outstanding and friendly all around! However, I want to give special recognition to Neil in the lounge. What an ambassador for Hyatt! He is caring and friendly and made my daughter feel so special during her birthday. We hope to come back one day because of Neil!
