2 night stay

2 night stay at Hyatt regency Waikiki on arrival did pre registration as it was only 0900 asked whether I would like a text or email to advise when room available requested text went back at 1530 as hadn't heard anything to find room was available. Nice surprise as booked double room was expecting no view but was in diamond head and had view of beach and mountains from the balcony. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Bed relatively comfy but only small pillows leading to minimal sleep and also street noise from the police station accross the road and the locals playing music loudly through boom boxes and people doing burn outs. Ear plugs are recommended. Shower not very powerful and can be confusing. Overall happy experience resort fee was cheaper than we had been advised from reading previous reviews. Didn't really use the resort though as was out for most of the time.

Absolutely amazing experience in this hotel. Everything worked great, staff was friendly and nice and helpful. We stayed at Diamond head tower and view was worth all the money.Our room was clean, big, the mattress was comfortable. And we got nice reusable bag with hotel logo and 2 reusable bottles. Ice machine and water were on each floor.

Favorite hotel in this area!

Wonderful location and friendly staff! I had a room with an amazing view. This hotel is a favorite of ours when we travel to the island. It’s right across the street from the beach and close to some great shopping and restaurants. Housekeeping and check in services are always delivered at or above expectations.

Stay away

The room is very dirty, sticky carpet, trash in the drawer, food smudge on the wall. I do not recommend staying in this hotel. They downplayed when I found questionable bugs in the room. With the price, there are better options. I initially booked it for 8 nights, checked out as soon as I could.

Exceptional Hospitality of Lounge Staffs

During my recent business trip, I didn’t have much time to explore or enjoy the hotel’s other facilities—but I did have the pleasure of starting each morning at the lounge, and I must say, the staff there made a lasting impression. The morning team—Yuko, Elise, Ashley, Colin, Kealona, JD, Michelle, Neil, and Evan—were truly exceptional. Their professionalism, warmth, and teamwork created a welcoming atmosphere that made each day better. They were consistently attentive, kind, and efficient, showing a level of dedication that really stood out. In the evening, Mark, Reid, Emiko, Tiffany, Cris, and Deijah continued that standard of excellence. Their hospitality and friendliness helped bring a calm close to each long workday. I also want to give special thanks to Grace at the front desk. After a long journey, the front desk is often the first impression of the hotel—and Grace truly represents it with grace. She always remembers me and greets me with a warm, genuine smile that makes me feel at home. Her welcoming presence sets the tone for every stay. Even though I was on a tight business schedule, the consistent excellence and diligence of these individuals did not go unnoticed. They are a credit to your team and deserve to be recognized and encouraged. Thank you all for your outstanding service!
