Avoid 2nd floor Diamondhead tower
I2424ULkellyh on May 24, 2026
This place has promise. Booked at diamond head ocean front from and well to see diamond head you need to lean over the balcony. The room is ocean front but the view of the Monkey Pod roof is prominent. Speaking of room 283 and Monkeypod...the music is so loud it's all you can feel and head in the room. Absolutely avoid this room at all costs. I'd also avoid Andy second floor room in the Diamonhead Tower. Staff was friendly. But this isn't the place !
Best vacation experience yet!

Alex was very helpful providing great customer support checking us in. Hotel staff were extremely tentative and kind. Hotel and room was very clean. This is our best experience by far and planning to come back in the near future. Highly recommended!

Came to celebrate our anniversary and it exceeded all expectations! Location was spectacular! Our room and view was so beautiful! The aloha spirit is all around you here. Every single staff member from valet, front desk, housekeeper, restaurant/bar, and stores all so friendly, down to earth and helpful. Xue was so sweet everyday greeting us by name and kept our room so clean and beautiful. Everything you need is right here. Beach, ABC store, delicious food and best Mai Tai at the pool bar! Loved going in the cultural center too and learning and seeing all the history. We can’t wait to come back!!
100% Disappointed

As my 1st trip to Hawaii, this “resort” was a complete disappointment. Check- in was great, and then went downhill for the next 7 days. The QR code bracelets for the elevators & rooms are glitchy, an overall pain. The daily blocking of the main lobby area to paint, is a disaster & a major inconvenience for guests which should have been taken into consideration. This type of work should be done at night - period! The constant blaring of the music past midnight ….thanks, especially when trying to deal with a time change. But hey, who cares, right? Now let’s talk fees. $60 a day to valet park because it’s the only option. Then there’s the lovely resort fees that cover pool amenities, WIFI and those refillable water bottles. Well. The WIFI wasn’t available 4 of the 7 days of my stay. They blamed the storm, yet there were no internet outages anywhere except this hotel. And let’s be honest , calling this place a resort is a far stretch. Resorts OFFER compensation when they have issues that negatively impact guests. Food is ok, if you have zero allergies. I think there are better options elsewhere to stay at and I would consider those before booking here. This is nothing more than an overpriced & overrated hotel.
no wifi service at all and no options

we didn't have any wifi service for 5 days in a row and no apologies or compensation for the almost 100 dollars 4 people in family had to spend
