Maui Trip 2018

Seaside139161 (Ada, Oklahoma) on May 16, 2024

We stayed in this beautiful property. Our condo was well equipped, nicely designed and decorated. We had a ceiling to floor glass window with 2 swivel chairs sitting in front of it. I sat and watched the ocean time and time again. Woke up every morning to palm trees swaying in the breeze, the first thing I saw to start the day. Our room was 506. I highly recommend this place, cannot wait to come back.

Amazing views

Amazing ocean view but unfortunately we killed like 6-7 roaches during our 6 night stay and 4 roaches killed one night. Very disappointing.

Great location and value

Mitch W (Cave Creek, Arizona) on May 12, 2024

All condos have sweeping ocean views and steps from the beach. The main drawback is that the beach in this part of Kannapali is largely not suitable for swimming. You will need to drive to another beach for swimming. The units themselves are decent, but ours could use a decorating/furniture update. For the money, however, you will pay two to three times the amount at a resort for a similar beachfront room.

Great Location and view, infested with cockroaches

Marcus N (Sydney, Australia) on May 07, 2024

Whilst the rooms looked great and had a fantastic ocean front view, the room was infested with cockroaches. They have a sign in the room outlining this, but you don’t disclose before booking. We found it disgusting just how many cockroaches roamed whilst we were there. Including across the benches as we prepared food. This was reported to staff in the evening after we checked in. We then followed up in the morning and were told at 10am we’d be advised of a room change within the hour. After repeatedly checking in and being given the run around and being told by front desk staff how grateful we should be that a room change may be an option! At 3pm we decided to leave to not completely waste our day. We arrived back at 6:30pm and were given the option move to another room, which on inspection was found to also be cockroach infested. We saw little point in spending hours to move and were told that pest control would attend the following day. The pest control we were promised amounted to housekeeping just laying a few supermarket baits around the kitchen. We didn’t feel comfortable to use the kitchen. When necessary, we were forced to closely watch for cockroaches the whole time as they would crawl across the bench and food. Even when the dishwasher was done, cockroaches would crawl out, meaning we had to rewash everything again before each use. Overall, it was a very expensive disappointing experience. Nothing was offered other than a simple sorry and extra paper towel to help dry what we had to rewash. We also found it useless that a tennis court was offered under the “resort fee” but you are required to bring your own racquets and balls. It also felt and smelt like your front desk staff were stoned most of the time.
