The Strat is a solid budget option if you don’t mind being a little removed from the main Strip action. I stayed in a renovated room and it was genuinely nice — think “good Hampton Inn” vibes, maybe even Hilton Garden Inn. Bonus points for daily housekeeping, which feels like a rare luxury these days. The casino itself, however, is not a highlight — it felt dark and a bit depressing compared to other properties. Also, if you’re gambling here (or anywhere in Vegas), it’s worth noting the room has a safe, which is a good place to stash any winnings.

I visited the Strat on Jan 22-23, 2026. I was in Select 15-053. First night I spent in Vegas. My room was rather plain...I kind of expected this and had no issues. Check in was no problem. I'm content with my selection and appreciate the visit.

Overall a good value for the price. Victor at the check in area was super helpful. There are several dining options as well as entertainment.

Had an issue with an online order and the online email team fixed it in 0.5 seconds flat. Incredible! I love this place! Everybody is so nice and accommodating

We stayed on the 17th floor. While the view wasn’t great, we wouldn’t have been able to see much anyway due to the fogged windows. The room clearly needs proper ventilation, as the moisture buildup caused the windows to remain misted and resulted in mold along the window seal. Although the room had a coffee maker, it was broken. The shower was usable, but extremely cramped to the point where my face was nearly against the wall while showering. The sink was either clogged or draining very slowly, which caused an unpleasant sewer-like odor. The beds were very uncomfortable. One of them had a noticeable dip in the mattress, making it impossible to sleep on, so it went unused. On a positive note, the staff was pleasant and the hotel itself smelled clean and welcoming. Overall, however, the rooms are in need of a major upgrade.
