Scam artists running a filthy dump – stay far away

This hotel is disgusting and dishonest. Our room was filthy: stains all over the toilet walls, food crumbs everywhere under the drawers, and a used medical needle under the bed. Absolute health hazard. On top of that, they sneakily added a smoking fee to our bill for a non-smoking room — even though I don’t smoke and don’t even drink. They tried to slip it in hoping we wouldn’t notice. If I hadn’t checked my bank statement, I never would have known. When we called them out, they had the nerve to accuse us of smoking drugs and lighting candles... I’m clearly not the only guest they’ve done this to. They only removed the bogus charge after we pushed back. This place is a rip-off joint that preys on guests with dirty rooms and sneaky charges. Do not stay here. Zero stars.
FOUND A USED NEEDLE STUCK IN THE CARPET!!

Found a used needle in the carpet!! The room was in terrible condition even though we stopped in one of the “renovated rooms” After checking out I received a email saying there has been a $500 smoke charge added to my credit card even though we don’t smoke and never have! It’s impossible to speak to anybody senior who can actual deal with complaints. I’ve been trying to speak to them for 2 days before leaving my review in hope it could be rectified.
They will charge you fees

We stayed at the strat 3 nights in April 2026.. Upon check in they upgraded our room which was nice but then held a large deposit. Less than an hour after checking in we were charged $566 for "smoking". We don't smoke. That night the fire alarms went off for 3 hours which forced my handicapped husband to walk down 14 flights of stairs at midnight. Multiple times they kept trying to charge us to the point I had to cancel my debit card. I've tried contacting them and get no response. We never got our deposits back either. The tower is cool. Everything else is extremely expensive inside the hotel gift shop like $12 for 2 bottles of pop.
Woke up with a bed bug on me and their response leaves me concerned with other rooms.

I found a live bedbug on my arm in their room and their response to the issue leaves me concerned with the rest of property. It took almost an hour of waiting in the main casino with all of my clothes/luggage before security walked me to my room where I showed them the live bed bug in question. All they did was move me to a new room and refund the resort fees (nothing with the room fees). I asked if they had any procedure for cleaning my clothes or beyond and they basically said I can find a laundry matt with the resort fee refund and then gave me a card to their risk management team. There were absolutely no procedures to potentially stop me from spreading more bed bugs around the resort. No bags to seal anything. No help on finding decontamination methods, getting new clothes, or a new bag. I did my own research and ended up buying my own plastic bags, clothes, and travel bag to prevent spreading anything and bringing bugs back home which they refuse to reimburse me for. Their risk management borderline gas-lit me saying things like "alleged bed bug" and telling me their 3rd party inspection service found the room to be "negative" for bed bugs... I left that room with a live bed bug under a clear plastic cup in the middle of a table. If their 3rd party service labels that room as "negative", then I am concerned with other rooms/areas that also may have been labeled as "negative". Here are pictures of the bed bug that their security saw first-hand, a hotel manager saw a picture of, and what their inspection service is claiming as "negative".

Paid for an upgraded room and was assigned a room with a broken bed, A/C and shower head. Sewage smell was also present in the bathroom. Staff was unwilling to comp the upgrade if we changed rooms and was going to make us wait several hours if we refunded the upgraded rate to get our downgraded room. Ridiculous service and treatment from front desk staff, don’t waste your money here.
