Treasure Island Hotel and Casino was a treasure to stay at!

CezWho (Germantown, Maryland) on Dec 06, 2022

This hotel is a part of the Radisson group. It was very nice and located on the strip. The Casino was nice and had a non-smoking area. We got a great meal and nice drinks at Señor Frog's, one of their restaurants. They also have a great shuttle service from Treasure Island hotel to the Mirage hotel and Casino, which saves time especially since we went to see "Love" at the Mirage.

NEVER stay here

803crystalg (Portland, Oregon) on Dec 06, 2022

This was my first time staying at TI. The property and accommodations were just ok. More importantly, the hotels systems went down meaning no one was able to check in for a full day after their reservations were made; arrived at the front desk at 11am on 12/2 and didn’t get a room until 1:30am the following g day (12/3). When asked about a refund for the missing day (we literally were in the lobby with all of our bags for 16 hours and no other hotel had vacancies for under $799/night) the front desk manager said the best she could do was refund 2/3 of the resort fee which totaled about $60. The night we lost was well over $175. I will NEVER book with TI again and will tell everyone I meet for the rest of my days how absolutely horrendous my experience was. Shame on the corporate executives for not empowering their on-site staff to make right a wrong.

Absolutely%20the%20WORST%20check%20in%20experience%20eve!

This was our fist visit to TI and were excited to check it out. Wow, was the check-in experience the worst ever. We arrived to Vegas early and went to check-in, thinking we could get that out of the way and leave our bags with the bellhop. We waited an hour, only to be told, if we checked in then we would be charged a early fee of $100. Not interested in paying that fee on top of all the other fees at the hotel. Checked bags with bellhop and went to explore. We came back at 2:55 to try again to check-in only to find the line wrapped through the hotel. Meanwhile, we had a vow renewal ceremony scheduled at 7:00. after waiting 2 hours, a lady came around with some small bottles of water, other guests were sharing their beverages, but we were still waiting. I explained the vow renewal, asked if there was a place I could get changed...she said the public bathroom would be my only option. Gross. Exactly 3 hours, 45 minutes and 19 seconds later we were at the counter to start the check in process. Needless to say, we didn't make the ceremony and it completely ruined our first night! I didn't even bother asking for any compensation at that moment, the staff was beyond frazzled, our customer service lady was cranky and irritated, I'm sure not with us, but it definitely showed. The only compensation offered was a $25 credit to spend in hotel. I went back our last morning and was given one day resort fee credited back. Totally disappointed.

Disappointed in TI

Julie G (Smithville, Missouri) on Dec 06, 2022

This was our 3rd time staying at TI and our last. It's been a few years (pre-Covid), so expected some changes, but the hotel was a disappointment. We purposely booked a strip-view room and our view from all natural sitting and standing areas was of the parking lot behind the hotel. If we got into the corner of the window next to the wall and looked left, we could see the strip. Definitely not worth the "strip view" upgrade we paid for. We made TI our go-to after many visits at other hotels, however, after walking through other choices on the strip, the TI is clearly now last on the list for upkeep. Warning, if you do book here, your reservation will not detail any of the items you may have purchased or received - early check-in, late check-out, promo offers, etc. And then, if you don't mention them when you check-in, there's a good chance they won't offer them to you.

4 hour check in.

Rachel B on Dec 05, 2022

I went to Vegas with 2 of my couple friends. The day of check in, their entire system crashed. It took 4 hours waiting in line to check in. I understand things happen but I asked if there’s any sort of compensation for the 4 hour wait. I used to work in customer service so I was very nice when asking if they can do anything because it wasn’t their fault. They told me they can’t do anything but I can go to the player’s club to get gambling credits. I go to the player’s club and they said there’s nothing they can do because they weren’t authorized to give any credits. The line at the desk is still so long so I decided to go to my room and talk to the desk in the morning. My bed has one square pillow the size of a couch throw pillow and the stuffing in the pillow is all clumpy and separated. The shower is a handicap shower with grab bars, a shower bench, and hand held shower. All great features for someone that needs it but I am 6’2. All these things in the shower make it a tiny box. (Picture Buddy the elf trying to take a shower and that was me). Also, my toilet broke. The handle disconnected from the tank and I had to wait for maintenance to come fix that. The next morning, my friends and I go to the lobby to see if they can give us any sort of discount since check in was so terrible. My group in total, had 3 rooms. When I spoke to the desk, they gave me a 2 night resort fee credit where I only had to pay 1 night of my resort fee. Which I was happy about. Meet back up with my friends and find out they got a room upgrade and their entire resort stay waived. I just don’t understand why I am the one person who has all these problems with her room, and only get 2 resort credits. There just needs to be a policy where everyone gets the same thing compensation. I don’t feel like 2 rooms in a group pay nothing and one room pays for a night. Friendly staff but I will not be returning.
