A frustrating first impression, despite a nice room

I just checked in for a 4-night stay, and my arrival was soured by a complete lack of service at the Guest Services desk. As an Accor Platinum member, my VIP check-in was explicitly confirmed by their VIP services desk via email. However, when I approached the counter to ask where to go, the employee, Rachel, showed absolutely no understanding or concern. I even showed her the confirmation email, but she still did not consider it or try to understand it, insisting instead that no such benefits existed. When I mentioned that her unhelpful attitude would go in a review, she was completely unfazed and eagerly provided her employee ID for me to include. I did eventually receive my priority check-in and room upgrade from other competent staff, and the room itself is great. I expect the rest of our stay to be very nice, but management urgently needs to address this sheer apathy at the front desk.

Everything You Need in the Heart of Las Vegas!

Great location, especially if you're seeing something at Sphere. We came to see Kenny Chesney, it was maybe a 15 minute walk through the Venetian. You might find yourself spending a lot of time in the Venetian with the many shops and the Via Via Food mail (see my review of SushiSamba!). This makes Treasure Island an even better bargain, since you can enjoy all the Venetian has to offer by just walking across the street. The hotel is old school Vegas, and I mean that in a good way. The casino is good sized, but most casinos in Vegas seem similar to me, so I don't think I would ever make a casino the deciding factor. Of, course, I'm not a high roller, and that may be a consideration for some. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff is friendly. The price was very reasonable, especially when considering the location. I would recommend Treasure Island!

This property is well kept. The rooms are clean and spacious. The employees are all pleasant and helpful. There is a Starbucks on site. The pool is inviting. A budget friendly option
