Currently in a Noisy Room at Treasure Island Las Vegas – Thin Walls and a Terrible TV

Cslewisca (San Diego, California) on Apr 18, 2026

I’m writing this review right now from my room at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and it’s turning out to be a pretty average (and frustrating) stay. The bed is comfortable enough, and the bathroom stays clean with decent shower pressure. The location is convenient, right in the heart of the Strip, which makes it easy to hit the casino, restaurants, and shows. But the downsides are piling up. The TV is in really poor condition — the picture has two noticeable hot spots on the screen, the image is fuzzy, and the remote barely responds. On top of that, the Wi-Fi is horrible — slow, keeps dropping, and it’s a pain to even load basic pages or stream anything. For a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in 2026, this feels way too outdated. The biggest issue is the super thin walls. I can hear absolutely everything happening in the neighboring rooms: conversations, TVs, footsteps, people in the hallway — it’s nonstop and makes it really hard to relax or sleep. Soundproofing here is basically nonexistent. If you’re a light sleeper, this will drive you crazy. Wi-Fi struggles aside, the AC is doing its job against the Vegas heat, but the room overall feels basic and worn out. Pros: • Great central location on the Las Vegas Strip • Comfortable bed • Clean and functional bathroom Cons: • TV in terrible shape with two hot spots on the screen and glitchy performance • Horrible Wi-Fi that constantly drops and loads slowly • Extremely thin walls — you can hear every single sound from next door I’m here for a few nights, so I’ll tough it out, but this is definitely not the modern experience I was hoping for. Treasure Island has the fun pirate theme and prime location going for it, but the rooms need serious updates, especially the electronics and sound insulation. Right now, sitting here dealing with the noise and tech issues, I’d give it a 3/5. If you’re sensitive to noise or need reliable Wi-Fi and a working TV, consider bringing earplugs and maybe lowering your expectations — or look at other options on the Strip. No thanks

Got only time for a 4 hours night in my schedule and it turned into a 2h night because of the room. The building is not air tight and the strong wind were getting in by the window and out by the door making whistling sound at 2 am... Never again.
