Amazing place. The location is perfect for visiting Universal and the restaurants, the staff is very welcoming, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the atmosphere is very cozy, with beautiful gardens!

Wedding Weekend at the hotel. We wished we brought out bathing suits! Service was great (terrific waitress for a few meals). The food was quite good (though the salmon wasn't great for the wedding dinner). The room was fine, however we heard the highway on our side of the building. The wedding ceremony was outside and it was very very hot. Although there were drinks, it really was pretty uncomfortable until the sun set. Not sure what could have been done. Maybe provide mini fans? Otherwise, the hotel was quite nice.

The 8 lane highway beside the hotel is a big problem for noise, it has fast traffic running all night. Many of the rooms face the highway. I recommend you give it a miss, its like trying to sleep next to a racetrack. Appart from that rooms and staff are fine.

Excellent stay for three nights for the two of us. Staff were friendly and the food was amazing - we ate there every night it was that good. Wonderful vibe and a very cool decor and setting. Pool open until 10pm which meant families could use it into the night and kids were having a great time. The food was great no matter what we ordered. We love our food and this certainly ticked all the boxes - good quality and quantity. Rooms were good - could have done with a second sink which might be available in the more expensive rooms; we stayed in a king double. Trolley to the universal was a benefit although we walked to and back from the local metro station a couple of times which only took 20 minutes. Only issue we had was with mosquito bites - we are both prone to these - so come prepared with repellent if you also suffer. We would go back to this hotel again without fail next time we go to LA. The food and the staff make it worth a five star review.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the hotel offers everything you need all in one place. The customer service experience was wonderful. Specifically Colton was exceptional. He was so kind in answering our questions about the area and followed up with us for additional help even when we didn’t ask for it. He even took a moment to walk us to the bus stop before going home for the day. How sweet! Highly recommended accommodations if you’re looking for spacious rooms, beautifully kept grounds, delicious food and beverages, and wonderful service. I’ll be going back for sure.
