When we first booked, we considered another resort, but choosing Grand Velas Boutique on a whim turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Viviana, our concierge, had every detail perfectly arranged, from our excursions and dining reservations to a beautiful photo shoot. Juan welcomed us with an unforgettable handcrafted drink that set the tone for the entire stay. It was so incredible that I’m still thinking about it. The Loto staff remembered us every time we returned, making each visit feel warm and personal. At the pool, Caesar was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. Arturo always recommended the perfect drinks, made sure we got them, and every single suggestion was spot-on. Housekeeping even followed up if we skipped service to make sure we had everything we needed. At Bar 21, Juan (another Juan!) shared his passion and knowledge of mezcal and tequila, making every conversation an experience. Every interaction came with a smile and a sincere “my pleasure.” Our photo shoot was another highlight, we loved it so much that we purchased the entire package. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

If you’re considering hotels in Cabo, just book Grand Velas Boutique and save yourself the search. From the champagne welcome to the final wave goodbye, every moment was exceptional. Viviana, our concierge, was incredible—she handled activities and dining with care and warmth. At Bar 51, Juan Vasquez made every drink feel like a little work of art. Irma Salazar at the buffet was warm and attentive, remembering us each morning. At the pool, Arturo kept checking in, and Caesar… Wow , he truly went above and beyond and loved doing it! His energy and connection with guests are unforgettable. And at the spa, Kevin was calming and professional. We honestly didn’t wanna leave. Thank you to everyone who made it so special. I’m still thinking about this heaven on earth luxury hotel.

We visited GVB for three nights after spending five at Le Blanc, the entire time at Le Blanc thinking we couldn’t wait to get to GVB as it’s been on our list for a while and it is going to blow us away. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We had been to a Grand Velas property in Puerto Vallarta and although the property was beautiful, we weren’t blown away there. We thought this would be different due to the Adults Only, Boutique nature. Again, we were wrong. Pros: - Rooms are overall grounds are beautiful with an amazing bed and shower. (The shower was GREAT!) - The pool is warm and the hot tubs are hot. Overall service by the pool and at the bar are stellar with very very good drinks. - The main bar is legit. Mixed drinks were fantastic and the service was great. - Spa hydrotherapy was excellent. Cons: - Room temperature was unacceptably hot. We complained after both my wife and I woke up sweating the first night. They came to tell us that the air is blowing out cold but if we continue to feel warm to let them know. We let them know the second night when we came back to the room and he advised us to keep our bathroom door closed (there’s zero airflow in the bathrooms) and keep the blinds closed whenever possible. Additionally, they gave us a floor fan to use and the ceiling fan was set to winter mode, which I switched on my own. - The Food was very hit and miss. Lotto was the best but everything at the main resort and by the pool was just ok. - Room Cleaning and overall room servicing was spotty. It’s an 80-room boutique hotel, yet they showed up multiple times while we were in the room. One night they showed up for turn-down at 6pm and my wife said we had dinner at 7p and would be leaving shortly… they never came back. We asked for a lot of extra waters nightly, and each day when we arrived back at our rooms, we had the standard four waters. Understand your guests and cater to them. - Our balcony hot tub had leaves and debris in it every day, making it unusable when we got up to the room. I’m not sure who decided to put bougainvillea everywhere, but maybe think about something that won’t ruin the balcony on a daily basis. Going back to our room, they tried, even offering us a “upgrade” our final night, which we declined because we didn’t want to pack and move. Truthfully, with the helpful tips of keeping the bathroom door closed, blinds closed and floor fan, the room was more than acceptable. Again, 5-star and 5-Diamond but missing a lot of aspects that go along with those accolades. This place is really quiet as well, so if that’s your thing, then this is the place. If you want any sort of conversation or music during the day, look elsewhere. We were offered a bounce-back offer due to our room issues in the form of a room upgrade next time we visit, but due to the lackluster food and overall experience, we’ll be adventuring on to other non-all inclusive’s and continue to call Garza Blanca our All-Inclusive Home!

My wife and I have been to Cabo several times and have always stayed at all-inclusive resorts. This time, we chose to stay at the Grand Velas Boutique Hotel (GVBH), and the experience has completely elevated our expectations of what luxury accommodations should feel like. I could tell you about the amazing food; the 2-star Michelin-rated fine dining at Autor, the elevated Mexican cuisine at Frida, or all the delicious plates at Loto. Most all-inclusive hotels treat food as just a part of the package. At GVBH, every dish is made with intention and care. The presentation is art on a plate. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and even the buffet food was exceptional. I could tell you about the quiet and peaceful ambiance of an adults-only hotel. I could tell you about the state-of-the-art gym. I could tell you about the spacious suites, complete with a vitamin C-infused shower head. I could tell you about the personal concierge ready to anticipate your every need. I could tell you about the beautiful pool, or the top-shelf spirits and cocktails. I could tell you about the clean and fresh aromas. I could tell you about the lush gardens, flowers, trees, and landscape installations that transform the property into an oasis. But what stands out the most is the staff. Everyone on the team is warm and pleasant, and you can genuinely feel that they care about your experience. For me, it’s the little things that matter the most: Berzain Guzman, the pool bartender, went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience for us. While poolside, we were craving the ridiculously good gyoza from Loto and asked Berzain if it would be possible to get them delivered to the pool. He could’ve easily said, "Sorry, that restaurant isn’t open yet and they don't serve that menu here." Instead, he made it happen for us. To me, that is true luxury. He single-handedly curated an experience for us that we will never forget, and we look forward to recreating it at GVBH as soon as possible. Thank you, Berzain!

Perfection. Spent a week here on my honeymoon and have been thinking about it ever since! The is the best AI that I have ever been to. Food was 10/10 (a year later and we are still thinking about some of our meals) room was perfect and spotless. Staff was exceptional - every single one. Pool is perfection. This is definitely a low-key resort and that was exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat!
