Under Renovations and not told about it util I showed up aat the resort

I booked this hotel for a stay from Sept.05-19/2026. Once I got to the hotel I was told I was moving to the sister property Royal Solaris. I do not know why Westjet Vacations let me book the Lighthouse if it was closed for renovations. Oce I got to the new resort I was not offered any upgrades or anything for the inconvience. At the time I booked my vacation had I known the resort I wanted was under renovations I would have chosen a different chain of hotels. Marcel Dorval

Don Gus was a wonderful experience for us and our server, Orlando, was phenomenal with his dinner recommendations and surprisingly enough remembered my boyfriend's allergies from the beach dinner, which was very impressive.

Jesus is amazing!! He was so fun and waited for us to check in then brought our luggage up with us. His attitude is outstanding and after a very long day at the airport with a cancelled flight it was very nice to be met with such kindness. Thank you, Jesus! Heather and Robin 3495
