"Wow, what an incredible experience at Hyatt Ziva Resorts! Shoutout to the World of Hyatt concierge team for their top-notch service. Special thanks to Alrick, the bellman, who escorted us to our rooms with a smile and a touch of warmth. The Playa team kept us entertained and active throughout our stay. The Zen Spa was a tranquil oasis, providing much-needed relaxation. Hostess Rodica's warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Last but not least, the entertainment crew kept us grooving and having a blast! Overall, Hyatt Ziva Resorts exceeded our expectations in every way. 5 stars and a big thumbs up from us!"

An awesome experience!

"Hyatt Zilara Resorts, a true gem! Tonigaye at the Aroma Coffee Shop served up delicious brews with a smile. Bell man Jerry was helpful and courteous. The concierge team went above and beyond, and the cook's culinary skills were impressive! Last but not least, Hostess Rodica's warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Thanks to the entire team for an exceptional experience!"

Hurricane Season Vacation

My family and I stayed here for 5 days, and we have some older people as well as two little children. We were actually stuck here during Hurricane Beryl, and we were highly impressed by the hotel's response to the situation. They kept us updated as much as they could, and we ended up having a lockdown inside the hotel the entire day of the hurricane. They set up two buffet areas inside, continued to have entertainment, including fun dance lessons, live music, etc. They did their absolute best to keep us safe and entertained during those unprecedented circumstances. When many guests were stuck there the next day due to the airport closure, they handled things as best as they could, providing rooms at their distress rate. We felt completely cared for and in good hands the entire time, and I would certainly come back! (not during hurricane season though lol)

5 star shell but 3 star resort at best

The welcome and check in experience was dissapointing. I was not offered a beverage or a cold towel. The lobby was extremely hot and only the staff had fans behind the counter. No fans for customers in the lobby. The first room I was offered smelt of mold and was extremely hot. The manager refused to address the issue until I created a scene in the lobby. I paid for an ocean front butler room, the view was completely blocked by a palm tree and the air conditioning was completely un functional. The smell of mold was so stron it gave me a headache. The second room at least did not smell but had the same air conditioning issue. The staff are mostly ok however my butlers Nikky, Nicholas and Ricardo were fantastic. The food is very average.. Very poor selection of fruits at breakfast... Room service is also disappointing. The only restaurants worth visiting are the Italian and the Seafood grill... Everything else was disappointing. The beach and pool are great and the cabana service is great. The entire infrastructure really needs to be updated, just seems old, work and tired. Cocktails were ok and the spa is disappointing. I definitely wont be returning.

Hyatt Ziva Jamaica - a trip to Hell

Horrible experience. Air Condition DID NOT work anywhere in the property except the coffee shop. NO AC in rooms or suites. No AC in restaurants, Dirty property with old, smelly, mold infested carpet throughout lobby and hotel buildings. Workers at hotel very cold and dry, and rarely smiled. Ambience depressing, felt like a prison at times. Beach nice, although very small and full of seaweed. Pool nice and comfortable, Restaurant portion and food anemic in presentation. If you order the shrimp at Fuzion - you will only 3 get small pieces. If you order room service, the average wait time for food will be 1.5 hours. This was a daily occurrence for us. Inititally we were in 2 ocean front suites. The Air Condition DID NOT work, we were then downgraded to 2 ocean view rooms. AC barely worked there with high humidity. Our TV's did not work for 2 days, and both our showers were not working. On a plus, there are 2 managers at Hyatt Ziva Jamaica that are Exceptional and wonderful and tried their best to help us and I appreciate that.. Dezreen and Melissa.
