This was our first time visiting Ziva Rose Hall and nothing about it disappointed us. We had an ocean view room. It was a nice size. The bed was comfy and I really loved the pillows. The food was tasty, well seasoned, plentiful and with lots of variety. Make your reservations early for restaurants you’d like to eat at since the time slots can fill up.

I highly recommend the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaican! I just came back this week and already can’t wait to go back. The resort is gorgeous and well maintained inside and out. The 1000 plus employees work extremely hard every day to make sure that your stay at their resort is the best time ever. From check in to check out and everything in between, the employees at the Hyatt Ziva truly do everything “from the heart”. I was in building 2 which is a little dated but my room was very clean and great. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! I got the best sleep every night after spending the day at either the beach or pool. I loved the bathroom with the marble tile floor and separate shower and washroom. The food was amazing! If you truly want real Jamaican food, please eat at the Jamaican Rootz restaurant and try the oxtail and snapper. Every employee was friendly and helpful but I would like to give a special shout out and recognition to a few employees that took their time to help me during my stay. They went above and beyond their job description. Ms. Kaye, I really appreciate you giving me your safety pin when I had a wardrobe emergency and taking good care of my room. Ms. Redehila, I really appreciate you offering to help when I had 2 wardrobe emergencies. Mr. Otis, thank you so much for making sure I found my way around the resort, especially walking me to my room and driving the golf cart to take me to other side. Ms. Crystal at the Choicez buffet, thank you for taking the time to provide excellent service during breakfast. Ms. Genevieve at Grindz, thank you for remembering my drink order every time I came there. I already miss my daily gizzadas. Ms. Carmela (sorry if I miss spelled your name) is an amazing crew leader. She knows how to really hype up the guests with every activity that she lead. She also plays the steel drum very well. My only recommendation is that since you have guests of varying ages, ie elderly seniors or guests with mobility issues, please have beach/pool chairs available and accessible that are not so low to the ground and have two arms. Overall, this is a fabulous resort and my friends and I are already planning our next trip.

We had a great vacation. The receptionist that checked us in was fantastic. She also checked us out at the end and remembered us from check in. The entertainment staff was very energetic. Ronaldo was very helpful in the gym area. We sailed on the catamarans several times with Gio who was fantastic. There are several restaurants and bars on the property with a very good selection of different foods. We particularly liked the French, the Barefoot Jerk hut, and the Urban Heat restaurant. Our waitress (Monica) at the French restaurant and Kadeon at the Jamaican Roots were excellent. The beaches are protected from the waves by large rock walls. The bartenders kept the drinks coming.

Best place to visit if you require Halal food. Chef Israel and Chef Latif are amazing they not only prepared halal food dishes in their own restaurant (Choicez) but also co-ordinated with other restaurant chefs so that they could cater to our needs. I highly recommend this resort if you are looking to spend some quality family time while enjoying halal food.

My husband and I spent two weeks at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Montego Bay/Jamaica. We had a Jr Suite on the 3rd floor facing the ocean and our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and inviting. The bed had soft, luxurious linens and was welcoming and cozy.... we slept like babies. The facility was clean and everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful. Also, the food was plentiful and spectacular.....they had everything you could ever want. We did have a few concerns with our room when we first arrived (missing a balcony chair, shower dispensers not operable, etc). We notified the Manager, Russell Jackson and he immediately took action and remedied the situation! We were SO impressed with him. He followed up with a letter under our door informing us that everything had been addressed. Also, we would highly recommend the guided, Bamboo rafting trip. It's a slow river rafting excursion and we very much enjoyed it! We absolutely loved our trip and look forward to booking another visit next year!
