My husband and I go to Jamaica every March and have been to many of the adults only resorts (Secrets St James, Wild Orchid, Excellence, Couples Swept away) but always end up returning back to Iberostar as we know it will be excellent. Another reason we return is that we are always treated special as returning guests, been 7 times. Barrington checked us in and he was charming, helpful and kind, as he has been on all our previous visits. He took great care of us and gave us a beautiful oceanfront room and made sure we were happy with it. (Thanks Barrington, we appreciate you! :) The view was spectacular and we spent most of our time on the balcony. The food is fantastic and we are happy they took away the reservation system so you can just decide and don't have to fuss getting a reso. That just started while we were there and they were ironing out the kinks. I feel they need some more pop up bar options with seating around the restaurants so you don't have to stand around to wait for a table. We always love that you can get lobster and seafood all over the resort and it's fresh and delicious. Lunch overlooking the beach is breath taking and the food/service is fantastic. The entertainment is getting better and more shows are now outside which we like. We love live bands and feel the resort needs to bring more reggae bands in for the nightly entertainment. Drinks and beach service is great! We love the beach here, beautiful with clear turquoise calm water. My husband is an early riser and would have to reserve chairs early so we got shaded chairs. March is busy so this may not be needed otherwise. We are planning our 8th visit for next March as we know we won't be disappointed. Hope to see Barrington at the front desk on arrival :)

Our Butler team was fabulous!! Rushane, Christopher & Jaimie were on top of everything & did what ever we asked ?? the room was great for sleeping, very quite & the curtains made the room nice & dark!! The resort was beautiful & a quick trip from the airport. This was our 4th trip to Jamaica &’we can’t wait to go back ??

Decided to do a fall get away before the holiday season and we were not disappointed. My husband loves to golf at Cinnamon Hill and he was able to have 3 wonderful rounds with Jasmine as his caddie. We had a few days of unstable weather due to a tropical storm passing but this didn't interfere with our enjoyment. We met some great folks from many different areas of Canada and the USA. Shout out to Regina from South Carolina! We had great meals at all the restaurants - my personal favourite is to sit outside at the Italian restaurant. Shellissa was our server on several evenings and made sure we were well taken care of. Ask Cassandra at the pool bar for her specialty drink - I enjoyed at least one every day! It was wonderful to see Judy at Cornwall; I believe she recently received a well-deserved promotion. Congrats Judy. Sonika at the front desk greeted us with a friendly welcome home greeting and it was nice to speak to Basiene whom I have corresponded with several times over the years. The Star Cafe is a wonderful addition which I visited daily. The resort was clean, staff friendly and atmosphere was relaxed. I came home feeling pampered. I do miss the nightly shows in the Exodus theatre and hope they bring them back. Having the shows outside is fine but the acoustics seem much better inside. We look forward to returning soon.

This is our third time at the Joia Rase Hall and can’t say enough good things about it!! Our butler Gary went above and beyond to make our stay the best one yet!! Gary is amazing at his position and his years of experience shine above the rest. His wonderful and warm personality makes you feel like you are home. Gary’s professionalism and his eye for detail made our stay at the Joia Rose Hall the best one yet!! Ralston, Owen and Rohan filled in for Gary’s off shifts and they were also exceptional at their butler positions. They stepped in with the same level of dedication and professionalism to ensure our vacation was the best!! Sharon oversaw our room and made sure it was perfect everyday. She greeted me everyday to make sure we wanted for nothing. She made our room extra special each day and is a very special lady!! These hard working professional people are the heartbeat of the resort and because of that we left feeling like we were saying goodbye to family!! Tom and I can’t wait to return home again to the Iberostar Joia Grand Hall again for the forth time!!!??????

We are at the Grande - a bit disappointing from last time we came 10 yrs ago- the worst and unacceptable element was at the gym - out of 6 treadmills, 4 were broken all week long and such for quite a while - Iberostar is not up the expectations at all
