Difficult to maneuver in several places with a wheelchair, especially on Valentines —However, Kadesha was wonderful to help us since we had a person in a wheel chair— she was attentive and helpful.
Conversely, we had the very best wait staff this evening at Bayside— such a wonderful experience with Quentis head waiter.
Keisha the housekeeper assisted me since I was trying to get the person in a wheel chair to the restroom—she was great!
Was disappointed to have 2 restaurants closed on the same night, making choices limited for dinner. Resort needs to have details like that given to patrons each day or for the week.
Ice to know staff remember you and are attentive.

New "Gina" app works well.
A few things to be improved at South Coast:
Wifi strength improved throughout the property especially on west end beach.
Replace/fix commercial coffee machine promptly at Club Sandals - always looked forward to at every Sandals - disappointing.

My husband & I travel with my sister & her husband. This was our 7th Sandals. We enjoyed our stay: beautiful property, warm weather. The room was very nice, the bars were scattered about & well-staffed. The Super Bowl party in the courtyard was amazing. We liked the way most of the restaurants were grouped together. LaToya in the Loyalty office was fantastic. However, the property as a whole was understaffed. There were very few pool guys to help with umbrellas, etc. and only a few waitresses around the pool. Some of the furniture was damaged - ripped rafts in the pool; ripped cushions on the couches near the firepits. And this Sandals had no cabanas at the pool, just umbrellas. Breakfasts & lunches were very good. But - We waited 90 minutes for a dinner in Bayside; 2 hours for a dinner at Neptune's. The best service for dinner was at Eleanor's & Schooner's - both require reservations, & we couldn't get in until the end of our week. Most of the other dinners were not served really hot. Avoid fish at the Italian (Guiseppie's) - no taste - one of us had snapper & one had salmon - they tasted the same. And my sister's chicken wasn't much better. Lasagna was good. We arrived late on a Tues. & left very early the next Tues. We are Emerald status, but never got a proper orientation or tour. We missed out on a few things offered by Club Sandals. We expected to see the manager sometime during our stay. Most managers are very visible on the property. We missed a Loyalty dinner if there was one. However, there was a Meet the Managers at the pool one day, but he wasn't there. He was never visible on the property. We love going to Sandals, but we won't be returning to this one. Our next ones will be Beaches at Turks & Caicos and Royal Barbados.

We stayed over the water bungalow for a week and it was worth every penny, was incredible and one of the best spot in Jamaica no doubt. Sun set and sundown are just unreal. The butler team and all the staff was top notch. Try the food truck for some of the best jerk chicken around, all the food was great, service was the same. A special thanks to our butler Kim for her great service, top rated.
Bungalows Appear to have Suffered

I'm sure it was nice once but unfortunately; it appears to have suffered from time and neglect.
Had a number of issues.
Pretty sure we were not given a butler elite (properly trained) employee. Probably short staffed and used a grounds keeper in butler attire.
Ordering room service was a chore and there is no communication. One morning we waited an hour and a half for breakfast supposedly due to issues with the waffle maker. Nobody gave us a heads up or even the choice to choose a different item.
Comments were made by our butler about how we just chill and I interpret that to mean that we were annoying them by making requests. We did not ask for much in my opinion. Also, when my wife asked for a coconut to be brought to the cabana, the reply was, "Well... I would have to go get it." Like he didn't want to and she was annoying him. So, we walked around for an hour or so, got back to the cabana and there was no coconut. So, we called and asked again... Upon delivery he informed us that he had to cut it out of a tree and it hit him in the head which presumably was a lie.
Had issues where when we were hanging out around the main pool area. Multiple staff members tried aggressively to sell us drugs (Chocolate Mushrooms and pre-rolls). Because of that, I did not feel comfortable wondering the property and kept it to a minimum.
Our Suite (Over the Water Bungalow) was pretty on the surface but falling apart.
The AC did not work nor did the ceiling fan. We told the staff and they sent a maintenance technician to look at it. My wife let him in, and when she did, she left the door open to the deck. Because of this, the tech came in and said the AC was fine and that if we want it to work, we need to shut the door. I found that offensive but they did at least fix the ceiling fan, we just never had air conditioning.
The handrail on the deck is very unstable. I managed to secure it a little better by tightening the bolts (by hand).
The ladder into the ocean was rather disgusting. It was completely covered in barnacles and seaweed. Also, a section of the ladder has broken at some point and the fix they used is unsafe as it allows the step to rotate under pressure.
The anchor holding the float in place is also covered with seaweed
The in-room fridge was never restocked until we specifically said something.
I told them my wife's preferred wine and they brought the wrong one every time.
After ordering room service, nobody ever returned to pick up food trays / glasses. The kitchen area became unusable as there was no place to put anything. Perhaps I should have set everything outside.
Overall, we did not get anything close to the experience outlined by Sandals Butler Elite Welcome Letter. Also, the Butler manager only acted like they cared as we checked out. This was a very unfortunate way to spend $4,000+ per day / Wedding Anniversary.
