Clean, Quiet, and Close to Everything

Rachael P (Cheyenne, Wyoming) on Apr 10, 2024

This hotel was perfect for our family. The rooms were quite small, but we expected that, since we were in midtown Manhattan. We reserved a separate room for our teens. The front desk upgraded us to a city view so the rooms could be adjoining. The view of the Empire State Building from our room was spectacular. I was especially impressed with the cleaning service at the hotel. Our rooms were serviced daily, which is a rare treat of late. The room was very quiet (we were on the 15th floor). We couldn't hear any noise from outside, other rooms, or hallways. The location of this hotel is outstanding. It is a short walk to Times Square and many other midtown destinations. Most popular destinations are within 15-20 minutes when utilizing the subway.

Great Hotel

L5372KThelenk on Apr 03, 2024

We had a great stay here, great location, beds comfy, staff friendly and the whole hotel felt clean and secure. We have only 2 negatives…. - bathroom door was an opaque glass sliding door. It didn’t give enough privacy. - Very busy at breakfast time, grab a table before getting anything. That said, it was a good breakfast. Set us all up for the day. Would we stay again? Absolutely! Good value for money.

Average at best

Average at best experience at this location. Recommend staying at another location for a better experience. Pros: - Semi-close to many attractions and the subway. - Staff overall was nice and helpful. - Semi-quiet inside and outside. - Elevators, although just 2, are very quick. - Bed was comfortable. - Water was hot and lasted long. - Room had a microwave and a fridge. - Free breakfast, although not great, is still nice for a pinch in the morning Cons: - Check-in was not convenient. Early mobile check-in was not honored, which is understandable. Went to front desk to inquire when room would be ready. Was just told that it wasn’t ready. Left to explore city while room was prepared. Around 4:30, called to get an update. Was told room has been ready. If that’s the case, how come no one told me? Would have been nice to be in the room sooner. Lack of communication is concerning. - Room was hot. Uncomfortably hot for January in NY. Had to open window and turn the A/C all the way down. Room didn’t get comfortable until the second night. If the window didn’t open, we would be asking for another room/hotel. - Room is too small for more than one person. Kept bumping into my family just trying to get around. - Elevators/stairs do not require a room key to use. Would feel more secure and safe if they did. - Although somewhat close to attractions and subway, other locations are closer.

Great new Marriott, super affordable for NYC

JJMcG66 (Saint Louis, Missouri) on Jan 17, 2024

Great NYC find for a clean, modern hotel stay. Staff was super friendly, hot fresh breakfast included, great location on a quiet side street between Park and Lexington. Rooms are small but it’s New York City!! And super affordable at around $150 AAA rate. Will be back!

Very Basic Property

mustaphakhalid (Dhaka City, Bangladesh) on Jan 15, 2024

On way back home stayed in this hotel for one night. It’s a very basic amenity property that doesn’t serve the facilities like star rated ones. The room was so far okay and the toilet was clean. No special issues to comment. Travellers intend for a very short stay may opt for this property. Location wise it’s a good one as it is situated in the midtown of NY.
