Great location, clean and simple, with friendly staff - good value for money

Stayed for 7 nights and was at first a bit disappointed at the lack of Marriott Bonvoy services (Titanium status but no upgrade, no free water, no lounge etc.), but grew to appreciate the positives - excellent location; quiet, clean and comfortable room; nice staff and free breakfast. We were in room 1206, next to the elevators and facing a construction site. But the windows are soundproof and the elevators weren’t very loud (earplugs may help at night). Housekeepers were EXCELLENT - so courteous and kind. Breakfast is simple but sufficient (toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and a breakfast meat). Always found a table (for two). Room amenities also simple - shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap only. Coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge, iron/ironing board and hairdryer. There is no restaurant nor in-room dining, but so many eating options nearby. Best of all is the midtown location so convenient within walking distance to subways, restaurants and attractions, and quiet enough, away from the chaos of Times Square. Great value for the money.
Great Stay - Friendly Staff

Great Location, beds comfortable, and solid water pressure in the shower. It’s NYC, of course the rooms will be small, but ours was fine for two people and Very Clean and modern. Only a few blocks up from Penn Station and our goal was Times Square and Rockefeller Center area. Never had to walk much more than a mile in any direction. The original Bravo Pizza is only a few blocks away. I’m a Marriott Platinum and have stayed at Marriott brands all over the world. Not sure what other “Elites” are complaining about. It’s a hotel stay, not a lifetime commitment…

Loved this hotel! I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights and it was perfect. Check in and check out was easy and all the hotel staff were really polite and welcoming. The location was great and walking distance from alot of touristy spots. Beds were comfortable and the a/c worked great. I can’t wait to be back.
Excellent Stay and Great Customer Service

I've stayed at many hotels in this area but this one was by far my best experience. Firstly, Sharice is, without a doubt, one of the most warming people I've ever met. She was welcoming, always had a smile, and any time I left or returned to the hotel she always remembered my name. The best customer service ever! The rooms were also clean and quiet. I get back often to NY and will try to book this hotel again.

Compare to Fairfield Inn on 28th and Broadway, this one is older, smaller and decors are outdated I did not get an upgrade which is probably why it is smaller. The location is good enough. But I like the one on 28th street better because that one is surrounded by flower shops during the day. Empire State Building is within walking distance. So is Korean town and penn station. Theater district is less than 10 blocks away.
