Loved it

This hotel was super clean. The pools are great. The only thing I didn’t like was the food court. Way expensive

Thoroughly recommend

Raggamuffin8 (Wilts) on Aug 17, 2026

Was taken aback by the busyness of the lobby but elsewhere it didn’t feel crowded. Great spacious room with two bedrooms and kitchen area with microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. Rooms and towels refreshed daily. Really good pool with lots of lifeguards. Towels provided. The food court has a great salad bar with lots of choice, you pay by weight. The same with the fresh fruit salad bar. Toasted sandwiches, burgers, chicken etc cooked to order. Buses run regularly to all the universal parks IHOP pancake house across road

Second year in a row for us and cant fault it again

andy_jm2014 (Stafford, United Kingdom) on Aug 13, 2026

Visitid last year and decided to return again. Whilst the resort is s value resort having 2 bedrooms in the suites is such a plus for us as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I had already done mobile check in which helped us skip the line. We requested a high floor room and got floor 14 which is the top. I would highly recommend this nice high ceilings, only 1 corridor so not noisy and a brilliant view of the pool and parks in the distance for us. Rooms have a safety box which is great for leaving money passports ect. Food isnt too bad. Its abit repetitive but we didnt eat at the hotel much and if you have a season pass you get a 10% discount. Pop up characters are great even my 12 year old loved a photo! The pool was excellent as always the tower 1 pool is better than 2 in my opinion just feels deeper and doesn't have the sloped access. I used the gym a few times when weather was poor. Gym is ok but not much equipment wise. Its a nice bonus to have but equipment lets it down a little. Transportation was ok this year but didn't seem as good as last year. Volcano bay buses were not very regular at times. Staff were always friendly and helpful which makes any small issues insignificant. The housekeeping team work their socks off day in day out and always meet you with a smile. If you are after a good value resort with all the basics you need this one isnt a bad shout. If we return in the future we might go for somewhere different for a change of scene but any family won't go wrong staying at this resort at all. Laundry is helpful too its $4 per wash.

Very basic but good location for parks

Tommkel (Manchester, United Kingdom) on Aug 10, 2026

Get what you pay for. Very basic, great location but it’s very much like a canteen style restaurant. Rooms are very rough around the edges, paper cups, plastic plates and cutlery. Walls are paper thin. Pool area is good but this resort is soooo busy. The buses to the parks are reliable but we found getting a taxi easier. It’s about $10 each way.

Would stay again!

Becky I on Aug 10, 2026

Great location for park entry to Universal and the bus service is fantastic, the buses are every 5 minutes and we always got a spot. The early access to parks was a huge benefit too and all the parks are less than 10 minutes away. Room was clean and spacious, comfy and well-maintained. The only gripe was that it took an hour to check in, which, after a long flight, was irritating as there were about 20 desks and 4 staff but we would still stay again and recommend it to others. Even though it holds a lot of guests, there was always plenty of space at the pool and it didn't feel crowded, the pools are huge and shallow, perfect for the family with several lifeguards and open until 11pm. The food onsite is expensive and not great, but there are plenty of walkable restaurants and a 7/11 next door so we didn't have to eat there. Great stay, we had a fab holiday!
