Faboluous stay

I can't understand any negative reviews of this hotel to be honest, we are just back from a ten day stay with three kids ranging from 9 to 14, The hotel is ideally located for all the universal parks and comes with early park admission as part of your stay which was brilliant, The suite was more than ample for for us and was spotless, no complaints, The atmosphere in the hotel was great, yes it is a busy hotel but any hotel with over 2,000 rooms will be, great to see so many happy families enjoying themselves, Food was perfectly fine, we have two picky eaters and they were very happy with it, The staff were lovely and very helpful, Very little if any noise after 10pm because all the kids and adults are simply wrecked after visiting the parks during the day, The swimming pool had FIVE lifeguards on duty at all times, and unlike most lifeguards in hotels we have stayed in, they never take their eyes off the pool for a second, great peace of mind, If you are looking for hotel in Orlando near the parks you can't go wrong, just book it. Remember when you read some reviews that there is just no pleasing some people, Great place to stay.

ok hotel

This was my first time staying at a Universal hotel. I usually go to Disney when in town. Pros: Larger rooms than Disney’s value hotel In the food court they had a salad bar out for lunch and dinner and a fresh fruit bar out from open to close. It was nice to have fruit and salad to balance out the theme park food. Cons: The rooms, hallways and lobby weren’t well themed. The walls in the hallway were painted white which made the walk back to the room each night seem longer than it probably was. At Disney, they have a cast member at the front door greeting you and can answer questions and give directions. Universal didn’t have this. Also, at Disney front desk members come out from behind the front desk when not actively checking in guests. At Universal front desk members just stayed behind the desk. No theming at the pools

Honest review

The hotel is absolutely fine for a break to universal but please don’t expect any luxuries or have high expectations. It’s basically a budget value hotel with 2,000 rooms close to universal parks and international drive. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable however the walls and ceilings are paper thin as you can hear everything in next room it’s almost like they are in the same room as you. Maybe take ear plug’s which will help. The pool is nice and the food court isn’t too bad again seems budget food but certainly not cheap. Would we stay here again? No. Purely based on the noise from next rooms and above. Also if you want to visit Disney parks it’s at least £50 uber return back to the hotel.

Ok budget hotel

Hotel is in a convenient location with 7-11 and Walgreens nearby. Room was clean but very small bathroom. Our only complaint is you can hear your upstairs neighbours every time someone walks across the floor. I’ve never been in a hotel where you can hear the room upstairs.

Great hotel with one big gripe.

Kenny0107 (Renfrew, United Kingdom) on May 18, 2026

Endless summer dockside inn and suites. What can i say. It is a very good hotel with very good facilities. In tower 2 there is a good size fitness room. A good restaurant and eating area. Has a starbucks onsite. Staff were great from the receptionists to the cleaners and even the facilities staff. All very polite and askiing how you are. Rooms were done daily if you wanted. Beds made new towels every day. If you wanted that. We done every second day and it was good. Pool area is a good size with plenty of sun-beds. However i didn’t like how the umbrellas were fixed to the ground as it didn’t feel like there was enough of those. Bar pool was food with a good selection if beers and cocktails. My biggest gripe with this hotel was the access to international drive. Over at surfside there is a gate straight onto international drive but dockside misses out on this and its a decent 5-10 minute walk from the hotel depending where you are staying in it to international drive it was that much of a gripe i think id happily pay the small extra charge to stay at surfside. Apart from that i recommend it. It is a great hotel with one big gripe.
