We bought some sneakers and left them in our room inside their bags. However, when we returned, they were gone. We complained at reception, and the only response we received was, "We're very sorry. Security didn't see anything... but you can come back later and ask." We find it incomprehensible that in a hotel of this category, guests' belongings can "go missing" without anyone being able to offer an explanation or take responsibility. We expected a more thorough investigation and a solution, not just an apology.

Great for going to parks but not really a resort or a place to stay in all the time and breakfast is quite expensive but you can get deals on prices hear

This was a great hotel for families. We were a party of 4 and the two room suite was perfect. There was plenty of space and privacy. The room was clean and in perfect condition. The hotel staff was friendly. The buses to Universal were frequent and easy to use. The pool area was large and clean and I appreciated that they were constantly running safety drills with the lifeguards. This is a very large hotel- be prepared to walk! The Starbucks in the lobby was very fast service. The only negative I saw was that the hallway areas were not the cleanest. There was a lot of trash in the halls and the carpet could have used more frequent vacuuming.

BUGS! My room had bugs crawling on the nightstand. My daughter and I both ended up with bites. But their 3rd party investigator stated it was not a harmful bug. But they won’t tell me what it was. They basically aid oh well. Yes you had bugs but they aren’t bad one so hope you enjoyed your stay. My friend’s room did test positive for a harmful bug that they told her travelled. Her and her kids also had bites. I spent a lot of time in that room. Our luggage traveled in a car together and we all stayed in a condo room at another place. Dockside Inn said well you aren’t on that reservation so nothing we can do. Do not stay at this hotel unless you want to bring buggy friend are really hard to get rid of home with you! I have video of the bugs crawling around but I can’t add it.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a 2 room suite on the 14th floor of tower 2, great view of the pool! Shuttles to the parks run from 7.30am and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus - same on our return from the parks. Room was clean, plenty of towels, the fridge in the room was definitely a welcome amenity! Would definitely stay here again
