Good hotel on the whole

Having just spent a week at this hotel, on the whole we were happy. Positives: Modern and generally clean. No carpets in bedrooms Grab and go cafe bar was reasonably priced Helpful reception staff Clean pool area Frequent shuttles to the parks Negatives: Very thin walls. Disturbed frequently during the night by other travellers Floors were very dirty in the room Had to request clean bedding as by day 5 we hadn't had clean sheets On the whole this hotel was fine for our needs.
Great Hotel for a busy Universal Experience

Here on a 10 night stay - 2 adults and 1 child Hotel - lovely clean hotel. As first timers to Universal we have been in good hands - although everything is so easy to follow you don’t need much help! Restaurant- initially we didn’t use the onsite food outlet as it looked quite basic but were proved wrong when we gave it a go out of convenience. Super fresh food and very tasty - pasta station where pasta dishes are cooked in front of you! Can eat in or take back to room - definitely a valuable asset after a long day or on an early start Rooms - considering this is in the value range this is one of the better hotels we have stayed in (comparing to Disneyland Newport Bay for example - we prefer this venue). TV, Fridge, power shower and small hairdryer have been fine. There is no kettle so you need to be creative using the coffee machine to boil water if you drink tea! Disposable cups and lids provided daily so you can grab and go. Storage is a bit trim but we have managed easily - using cases for anything that doesn’t need to be out. The rooms a spacious so this has worked fine. Housekeeping - daily and great. Towels swapped as frequently as needed (and plenty of towels provided). Abundance of shampoo / soap / conditioner topped available Pool - lovely. Again clean and is also a decent temperature. The lifeguards over here are the best I’ve seen around the world. Take their jobs incredibly seriously and definitely feel safe that they would instantly spot an issue. But be warned they will enforce the rules! Towels and d sun beds available in abundance and people still enjoying the pool well past 10pm ! Location - Walgreens directly opposite and well placed on International Drive so other food outlets available if you are good with a walk. We daytripped out to Daytona for the day - about an hour away. Huge Walmart and shopping outlet also nearby - we used Uber Shuttle - essential! We would be completely lost without it. Be warned there are longer waits at the end of the day as the servís is shared with Dockside, but the shuttle service is frequent and they put on extra services when they need to. Overall - would highly recommend for universal and would 100% stay here again
Stay far away from this hotel

Maintenance and housekeeping, nonstop noise from the minute I checked in at 10 o’clock at night. Called and complained but manager couldn’t be bothered to come on the phone and guest services said they couldn’t do anything about it. I am still here and have yet to sleep because of the nonstop noise. My advice is to avoid this hotel at all costs. Toilet every 10 minutes runs for no reason whatsoever, walls are paper thin, and hotel maintenance, laundry, and cleaning are so rudely loud. It’s unbelievable. If I wasn’t flying out tomorrow morning, I’d be demanding them to refund me so I could go to another hotel.
The perfect stay!

Our stay at **Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites** was fantastic from the very first interaction. The team made a great impression straight away — friendly, approachable, and quick to respond. I had sent a room request ahead of our stay and it was acknowledged promptly. We were lucky enough to receive exactly what we had hoped for (which I know always depends on occupancy), so that was a brilliant start. Check-in was quick and smooth, with very helpful front desk staff who made the arrival process easy after a long travel day. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite — an amazing bonus for a two-week stay! The suite on the 6th floor was bright, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It can sleep up to six, so for our family of four it felt wonderfully roomy. Our bathroom had a bathtub with a shower over (just for reference, as I understand not all rooms include a tub). One unexpected highlight: we could see the **Walt Disney World Fireworks** from our room — admittedly from a distance, but still a fun surprise at night. The in-room kitchenette was really handy and included a full under-counter fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and picnic-bench-style seating — perfect for quick breakfasts or snacks between park visits. The **Beach Break Café** restaurant served a great variety of food, and the kids’ meals were particularly good value at around $8. Options included chicken strips, a burger, or pizza, served with seasoned fries and a small drink (water, milk, or juice box). There was also a microwave and toaster available for guests to use in the restaurant area, which was a thoughtful touch. The whole hotel felt exceptionally clean and very well maintained throughout our stay. Transportation to the parks was generally excellent. Buses to **Universal Orlando Resort** parks ran frequently and were easy to use. The only slight exception was **Universal’s Volcano Bay**, which seemed a little more hit-and-miss during our stay. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location — about a 5-minute drive to **Universal CityWalk** and less than 10 minutes from **Universal Epic Universe** and Volcano Bay. The pool is heated, although it did feel slightly cooler toward the end of our stay. That said, the lifeguards were fantastic — always attentive and regularly running training drills, which was reassuring to see. A **Walgreens** directly across the street was incredibly convenient for groceries, drinks, or any holiday essentials you might forget to pack. There’s also a **Starbucks** just inside the main entrance. It can get busy in the mornings (as you’d expect!) but seemed much quieter later in the day. Laundry facilities were another practical bonus. We found laundry rooms on two floors of Tower 1 with large washers and dryers, plus vending machines for detergent. Everything could be paid for contactlessly or via an app, which made it very easy to use. Finally, the **I-Ride Trolley** stops (G6 Green and G6 Red) are located on either side of the hotel, making it simple and convenient to travel up and down **International Drive** and **Universal Boulevard**. All in all, this hotel delivered great value, comfort, and convenience for our Orlando stay. Between the friendly staff, spacious suites, and excellent location, it’s a place we’d happily return to.
Cheap, never again

cheap, cheap , cheap. disappointed especially for a Loews hotel and a Universal Hotel. the room i stayed at had no bathtub. The shower was all glass, no railings, and the hot and cold weren't marked, so i got hit with hot, hot, hot water. and there were big bottles or shampoo and conditioner. no little bottles. you have to scroll to find out the different channels. and i filled the coffee cup and put the lid on, the cup flattened, with hot coffee. i no longer trust Loews or Universal Hotels.
