Great facilities and location, but repeated problems with our room door really let the stay down. During our 14 nights, the door battery died four times, leaving us unable to get into our room. After long park days in hot and humid weather, arriving back hungry and tired, the last thing we wanted was to walk all the way back to reception, return to our room and then wait 20–30 minutes for someone to replace it. A hurricane was also passing by for part of our stay, and on one occasion we had to make this trip in the pouring rain. The first time was understandable, the second was frustrating but not the end of the world, but the third and fourth were ridiculous. Reception offered nothing more than an apology. We weren’t expecting compensation, but a room change or a proper investigation after the second incident would have been appreciated, given that replacing the battery every three or four days clearly wasn’t resolving the issue. The security staff who dealt with the doors were amazing and deserve credit. Unfortunately, despite the great facilities and location, the repeated inconvenience and lack of a lasting solution would put us off staying again.

Great location near the theme parks and on International Drive. Away from the touristy area of I Drive which was great..still easy access to all the shops and restaurants there. Room was quite comfortable..small suite with separate bedroom, living room and a dining area complete with fridge, microwave, burner and dishwasher. Pool area fantastic…large with a waterfall. Staff very helpful when needed. Of course they have a ‘Vacation Club’ aka deeded time share that they try and rope you into but that’s all part of the Florida experience.

Traveled with my wife to this resort in September. Have been going to this resort for many years and know it reasonably well. On this trip there was renovation work being carried out in the Bella section of the complex, so a bit of a mess as you drive in. Noise wasn’t to bad, but not up to normal standards. We had a nice lock on room( which is 2 apartment's attached by an inter communicating door) thus giving us 2x Kitchens, 2x lounges/Dining room, 2x large tv’s , 2x bathrooms and 2 sofa beds, so plenty of space. Now I was told that the whole of our block is about to be renovated, so it would appear that some of the problems in our accommodation had not been fully maintained as they obviously realise that all rooms are being updated. The problems we had was: the main light in the dining room continually flickered (even after repair), Toilet handle fell off (but was repaired), and one of the washing machines sounded like it was about to go bang. Also for a couple of nights there was a bad smell outside like the sewers had overflowed. Not very nice. It didn’t really ruin our stay, because overall we had a great time. As the room is being updated soon it won’t really matter for the future. The parking costs for Resort guests who are not time share owners was $30 a night plus tax. Last year was bad at $25 a night with the increase its even worse. My parking for the whole vacation was over £500. Disgusting. Unfortunately virtually all Orlando Hotels are charging exorbitant parking charges. Now for the positives. The resort was lovely around the pool, the water was nice and warm, the gardens were immaculate, all the staff were helpful and courteous. I found a review on YouTube filmed around the time I was there so if you want to have a closer look take a peak at the video its under”Howie’s Holiday Travel Review’s”and listed under the Resorts name. Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay will be back next year looking forward to the new refurbed rooms.

I've been a loyal Vistana Villages guest for roughly a decade, staying multiple times most years and often totaling 14–30+ nights annually. I've stayed through hurricanes and renovations and have consistently recommended the resort. Unfortunately, this was easily my worst stay. The not-so-greatest hits: - No water: No working toilets or showers for most of a day during a resort-wide outage. - Tone-deaf sales call: Guest Services didn't answer my text asking where I could use a restroom when there was no water to flush (because I was told they were too busy with complaints and issues), but Vistana did find time and a resource to call and pitch a timeshare presentation. The caller admitted she was working her “lead sheet.” during a major water outage at the resort. Seriously? - Construction: I was moved away from my preferred Key West area specifically to avoid construction—straight into substantial construction around St. Augustine. - Broken washer: Multiple Engineering visits on my first night. - Noisy neighbors: Being awakened at 2–3 a.m. didn't exactly improve the experience. - Wrong bar charge: An $18.98 charge from another guest appeared on my folio and required my time to correct. - Privacy concern: The corrected folio then displayed the billing "transfer" to the correct villa and that guest's full name and villa number. I assume my name and villa number appeared on theirs as well. - Missing Bonvoy credit: The stay never posted, requiring a missing-stay claim for my points and Elite Night Credits. The good: My renovated villa was very nice, and housekeeping remains fantastic—consistently one of this resort's greatest strengths. Frank, the Director of Front Office, also handled my complaint professionally and followed up personally after the water outage, although I was surprised there was no proactive service recovery for losing use of my bathroom and water for most of the day. That's what makes this so disappointing. I know how good Vistana Villages can be because I've experienced it for a decade. One problem wouldn't change my opinion. This was simply too many problems in one stay. I had another 10-night reservation for October. I canceled it and booked elsewhere. For a place I've considered my Orlando home away from home, that probably says it best.

My husband and I stayed here in May 2025 for our Honeymoon. The customer service was wonderful, our room was beautiful, the resort itself was beautiful as well. We are actually returning this November for my birthday.
