Salesmen ruined the stay
Ross K (Birmingham, United Kingdom) on Oct 03, 2024
Stayed here for 5 nights, I was very impressed with the resort, the accommodation I was allocated was comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. I cannot fault the hotel/resort and it's location is perfect if you are visiting the parks. The only downside for me was the hard sell of the "holiday club, a version of timeshare" I agreed to attend a "presentation" which was a one to one with a salesman, who once I told them I would not be making a decision became rude and dismissive.
The best place to stay.

I’ve stayed at the Vistana in Lake Buenavista many times and this was my second stay at the Vistana Villages on I Drive. Both are excellent but I prefer the Villages for the location, accessibility and that the whole site is a little smaller to get around than the one in Buenavista. Apartments have always been spotless as have the grounds and amenities. Staff have always been very pleasant and helpful. They do try and sell you timeshare by getting you to go to their presentations but I always decline and have never felt overly pressured to go. Easy just to say that you’ve been to the presentation before and not interested this time. Only negative point I would have is the site has gone completely cashless and you can only charge things to your room to pay by card. As far as I’m concerned CASH IS KING and if you don’t use it then it’s just a step closer to a cashless society which western governments are pushing so they have total control over your spending.
Great Resort for Theme Parks

Very Nice Resort, stayed Sept 2-6th. Staff was very Friendly and Accommodating, with a very early Check In. Pools are very nice, Restaurant is good but pricey. Proximity to Theme Parks, shopping and Restaurants is great. Would stay here again.
Nice resort but with setbacks

First off we booked this resort for a family trip to sea world through Marriott Bonvoy. We arrived late for our first night but overall it was a nice resort with great amenities. The main down fall was that we booked a standard villa and we were placed into an ADA room. Now the room was nice but not the category we booked. I work in hospitality and am well aware that ADA rooms always run at a lower rate than what I paid for. Upon checkout when I brought up this issue the agent who checked me out claimed they ran out of the category we booked and that’s why we were put into the handicap accessible room. I’m wondering if they gave away the room we booked during the day because of our later arrival. She also lied to me and said they were the same price, which is obviously not the case. The only other negatives were on checkout day, we were woken up at 7am by loud landscaping equipment, housekeeping came to our door 45 mins before our checkout time and tried to enter the room, there were ripped sheets and stained curtains in the room, and our Marriott bonvoy benefits were not honored. These are things to keep in mind when booking your next stay.
Perfect sized property to explore. Great, clean, well-equipped villas

We really enjoyed this vacation club property (booked like a regular hotel not through ownership). Our villa was clean and felt recently refurbished and was well equipped. Unlike the other Vistana in Orlando, you can easily get around to all of the pools and area here on foot as there are well marked sidewalks and the complex isn’t massive. There is a Publix (grocery store) and the Outlets less than a 5 minute drive so you can easily stock your kitchen and save a little money cooking and making snacks instead of eating every meal out.
