Can't wait to return!

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort in a 2 bedroom villa. We weren't sure what to expect due to mixed reviews but we're so glad we did! The room was one of the cleanest (if not THE cleanest) room we've ever stayed in, and we're picky, neat freaks. The room had everything we needed and more. I'll break it down: The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, silverware, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, glassware, coffee, tea bags, and so much more. Good size fridge with ice maker in freezer. We were able to make our breakfasts each morning but opted to eat out for our main meal each day. There are so many restaurants close by. You're also a 10 minute drive to Disney. Bedrooms: Both bedrooms had soft sheets and plenty of pillows. The main bedroom is huge and is attached to the large master bath. There is also a sliding door to the balcony/patio area from the bedroom. There were USB chargers on each bedside stand and beautiful lamps as well. A TV is on a large dresser with plenty of storage space in the drawers. There is also a closet with a safe and several wood hangers. An overstuffed chair in the corner makes for a great place to throw your clothes at the end of the day:) In the second bedroom, there were two (2) queen beds with nice bedding as well. There is a door leading into the bathroom from the bedroom as well as the hallway. The second bedroom contains a nice size closet, also with plenty of wood hangers. On the large dresser, there is a good size television. In the hallway is a closet, is a stackable washer and dryer, clothes basket, and some cleaning items (vacuum, broom). Included were 2 packets of laundry soap. The bathrooms were fantastic and very roomy. The master bath had a separate shower and separate toilet room. There is also a large jacuzzi tub. The vanity has double sinks and storage in drawers. Finally, there is an adjustable wall mounted makeup mirror. Living Room/Dining Room area: There were two (2) chairs and a sofa. We didn't check, but I assume the sofa was a sleeper. There is a good sized television. The balcony is right off the living room area. The dining room area has a very nice large table with at least 4 chairs. The balcony had a table with 4 chairs as well. Our balcony overlooked the pool area, which was great and never got too loud. The resort has everything you need and felt very safe and secure. We were able to go for our daily walks within the resort and felt as if we were in a mini city - the resort is huge! The general store on site has a Starbucks and many very nice gift items, clothing, and souvenirs. We saw multiple tennis/pickleball courts, playgrounds, a sauna, shuffleboard court, multiple basketball courts, and much more. You would never run out of things to do here. We're planning to return very soon!
Beware of the timeshare sale!

We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages in June 2024 as part of a marketing promotion for the timeshare business. We attended what was supposed to be a 90 minute sales presentation but actually ran nearer to 4 hours. The pitch was actually very compelling and being a long-time Marriott customer, I was prone to do business with this company. We ended up purchasing a 'Star Options' package after asking a lot of questions about the value of a 'Star Option'. Following the sale, we came to learn that the sales team flat out lied to us about the value of a star option. We were told our package would get us a 2-bedroom villa at this resort annually. Actually, our package never gets us a 2-bedroom at this resort ... there is literally no time in the year that it's available. Here is the important advice for anybody considering a Vistana timeshare: Demand to see the 'Star Options Chart' before you purchase. During the sales process, the description of the Star Option value is vague ... and in our case false. But actually, Vistana has a chart that lays out exactly how many options are required for every room type at every resort for every week of the year! It's brilliant, and if they were honest, they would show it to you as part of the buying process. Finally, for those that do not know, Marriott Vacation Club / Vistana Vacation Club (the timeshare business) is NOT part of Marriott hotels. I am a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy member and believed the companies were related, which is why I trusted the timeshare ... I trusted Marriott. Lastly, the resort itself is wonderful. Just don't go to the timeshare meeting!
