Poor service

Whoever cleaned Room 1110 on Friday May 4, 2025 needs to be fired. My son left his two lovies right on top of the bed as we checked out at 7:20AM. Called at 7:40AM to notify we left it behind. It could NOT be missed as it was in such an obvious spot. We are told later that it was not found. So obvious that it was thrown out by housekeeping that doesn’t care about service nor children. Super disappointing of front desk service that they didn’t bother to send someone to locate the items right away. What a shame. Never staying here again. We’ll stick with a real Disney resort next time.
Great breakfast service

I must say that Sandy from Tesoro Cove was super helpful and kind. When one of my colleagues left behind his water canister, she tracked me down and called me to say we left it behind, but not to worry, she would have it safely returned the next day. She and her colleagues Heather, Claudia and Debra were always so helpful and friendly for the 4 days we stayed there. It was a pleasure to always go down for breakfast at the Tesoro Cove.

Unfriendly customer service. Soulless. Inhospitable

Hotel staff was mostly decent. Housekeeping was great. So I thought they did a really good job and there was a card with a QR code on it and the housekeepers name on it and said if we wanted to show appreciation we could scan the code and leave a tip. Well in my haste to checkout I didn’t have time and forgot. So I called the hotel yesterday, Tuesday, May 6 at 6:09pm EDT to see if I could still leave a tip. They were very condescending to me and tried to gaslight me saying this wasn’t a policy at the hotel. She puts me on hold to consult someone else saying “Let me check if this is true” like I would lie about this or something. Someone else gets on and also starts saying the hotel doesn’t do this and treats me like tipping the housekeeping staff is some crazy thing they’ve never heard of before. I’ve got over 17 years and 5 million miles of travel time, living out of hotels constantly and it’s actually a pretty common concept of tipping the housekeeping staff for an extended stay and I’ve also seen the QR code card as a common occurrence. I have lifetime platinum status with Bonvoy and am currently Titanium and former Ambassador level status and also have status with Hilton so it’s not like I don’t know what I’m talking about. Even when I ask her, “well isn’t it a normal practice to tip housekeeping on an extended stay?” she’s like “maybe”. SERIOUSLY??? What is she from Mars… never stayed at a hotel before. Then she just gives me some basic scripted response like “we appreciate your business” or something stupid like that. I mean this experience with Wyndham’s hospitality staff was far from hospitable. No soul. No feeling. It was like I was talking to an android. I mean aren’t you in the people business? And they couldn’t care less about their housekeeping staff, that was more than evident. They’re probably being human trafficked. Even if they don’t allow you to tip housekeeping they could at least give an explanation why or even how about this, ‘Hey we’re really glad you had a good experience with our housekeeping staff. I’ll pass that along to the manager’ but not even that. They didn’t ask what room I was in or when I checked in or out. Terrible. I would recommend anyone to stay at the nearby Bonvoy or Hilton property. The customer service HAS to be better than the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek.
Loud music at pool until after midnight
Denisha B (Parsippany, New Jersey) on May 04, 2025
I was in room 421 which was on the poolside for 3 nights. Music at pool was very loud and didn’t stop until shortly after midnight. I was at the resort for a business trip so a good night’s sleep was important. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. It ruined what would have otherwise been a nice stay. I complained to front desk the first night. I was told music would stop at 11pm when pool closed. Tried calling front desk the next 2 nights when music was still going after 11pm but no one answered. On last night texted someone named Jean who said she would look into it and make sure it was corrected but never heard anything back and music still went on until a few minutes after midnight. If you are a light sleeper or have to get up early request a room away from the pool side. Other than that the room was clean and staff was nice. Gym was also nice. Would have been a 4 star review but loud music ruined it for me.
