Stay away- it's miserable.

What a disappointment. Please cancel if you have booked this miserable place. Let's start at the beginning. Arrival was not great. Receptionist was cold, overly particular yet not particularly friendly. We were given 2 rooms that were dark with cigarette ends and soda cans outside the windows on the dirty green false grass on the adjoining roof. The rooms were grubby. We looked for better rooms and were 'upgraded' from King to Queen rooms. The beds were comfortable and towels were clean and available. For a 4 star rating they only clean every other day. We were not aware of this when booking. However, the cleaning was poor,. Rooms were dirty, old and dated. The carpets are filthy and we suggest keeping socks on. They don't vacuum much or clean surfaces. Every item is single use plastic. Not a glass in sight. Rooms felt and looked dirty. They charge and take a €600 deposit from your card. Again not clear when booking. We had a nice view of their dirty pools from the room windows, for an hour or two only. This is because the windows were almost always full of condensation, after rainshowers in particular. The sun never hit our windows. They charge a premium daily charge for the resort facilities. Pools were old and empty of guests. The deck and grounds were filthy with debris and brown staining on the grounds around the sunchairs. The outdoor space is never cleaned and we assume that its been years since a power hose was used. The pool bar was a small tent. Most dining rooms were closed over our 6 nights. They opened sporadically and are managed by more friendly-averse staff. A coffee costs over $5 dollars at the cafe. Its €3.75 in Disney resorts. Breakfast is ridiculously over priced and is also cheaper anywhere else. There's no atmosphere and it feels like a 70s institutional establishment that is devoid of taste and design. The cheaper Whindam Club Hotel tower next door is cleaner with friendly staff. The Whindam Grand Hotel charges 4 star rating but offers NO star. It's the most disappointing hotel we ever experienced. Very poor value for this sub standard hotel. Avoid .
Nice place to host a conference.

Great rooms that were very large. The meeting space was large and very accommodating. The meal functions were good as well.
