Pamela at reception is great

Pamela at Reception made our stay great at Doubletree Universal Studios. She helped us get our two rooms close together even though we were on two reservations and one of them was even made as one day then 4 days sequentially. She explained clearly how some food credits would work and where they could and couldn't be used on the property. Pool and hot tub were nice. Child splashpad area was not good at all. Assuming they will fix it over the winter but don't plan on using that if you have little ones or at least inquire about it.

Great hotel

We did a 2 night stay here. Our stay was great. Bed was comfortable and everything was in working order plus cookies. We chose this hotel because we could walk to Universal. It was an easy walk. We would definitely stay here again if we go to Universal Studios.

Carlos the Bellhop was amazing!! He ran up our huge amount of luggage, got us ice, and told us about the property. The rooms are nice, the view is good. Very happy!
The service at breakfast

Our waiter Jim was the nicest person in the hotel. Everyday at breakfast he was greeting us with a smile and a conversation. I wish there were more people like him. Thank you so much for everything Jim and take care.
