Great location. Very clean and friendly staff. We travelled as a family of five (with three kids). The breakfast is vey delicious and there is something for every one. Nice feature that there is free coffee in the lobby. We would definitely book a stay here again the next time we are in Portland.

I came for a work conference and was impressed by everything-from the great servers at breakfast to the caring front desk staff. Thank you Claryssa, Bobby, Kevin, and Harold for going above and beyond for me and my coworkers. Clean rooms, a very comfortable bed, and within walking distance of many restaurants and businesses! Highly recommend.

Great property! Staff was so accommodating, especially Clarissa who helped make sure I got to the airport on time and how to navigate the Hop train. Hotel restaurant and bar was great for evening meals and drinks with peers. Food and service was top notch. Just wish they opened earlier for those of us with early meetings.

My husband and I stayed at the Benson for our recent trip to Portland and we loved it! Lobby is absolutely beautiful and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very modern and clean. The street it is located on is not the safest, so if you were planning on walking to other locations, I would maybe skip out. But we were able to park in the adjacent parking garage and it was easy to get in and out.

We beat the extreme heat with a short visit to the Benson Hotel. It’s still a Portland landmark with stately lobby and recently renovated rooms. We had spent part of our honeymoon in the hotel 52 years ago. Outstanding staff . Tremendous workout facility. Treat yourself to a classic hotel.
