Visited for my 2’nd time June 12-19 with my 2 daughters aged 24 & 19 and had a blast! I emailed prior to travel and asked if we can get a free upgrade for being a repeat guest, and they said yes! We were upgraded to a junior suite which is just more square footage, but what was great for 3 women in one room. Although there is more square footage, unfortunately, there’s still no place to put 2 suit cases, lettle own 3, so that was difficult. We decided to ask for a cot and figured we could put 2 suitcases on there but what they delivered wasn’t a cot, it was a whole new bed, just like the 2 already In the room! Anyways, if you like a hard bed, this place is for you! Air conditioning is extremely important for me and I was very happy with that! They fill your mini fridge every day with Pepsi, sprite, beer and water. The weather was beautiful all week although there is a switch that gets turned on at the beach, around 11am-12pm for the wind lol Food: everybody is different so no point into mentioning that. Lots of treasures on the beach including massages and hand crafted work, beautiful bath suit wraps and coconuts too! The beach is still beautiful as ever and the staff are still amazing, espicially Raul and his team in the buffet, they really know how to show the love. My girls loved Ricardo and Santana as well; they really make your days Happy. Shout out to the Montreal mama and her clan of boys: much love to you all, such an amazing family, we were so fortunate enough to spend time with you’s all. And Debbie, can’t wait to see you again soon! My kids really felt this love this week thanks to VH Gran! Airport a quick 20-25 mins. It was our third time to Gran Ventana. Resort is very close to airport. Our room (2216) in the Catalina building was very nice and the resort is very compact, so everything was close to our room. Food quality seemed to had gone a bit down from the last time we were there (2023). As a repeat guest you get special bands (we did) but that was about it. They usually give a bottle of rum as a welcome back gift but we didn't get one. I was surprised that the guy at the juice bar remembered me from the last time. His service was excellent as always. I liked the entertainment they provided every night, something for everyone. Also, they still do the Wednesday night welcome back party. This time we didn't get an invite. Last time we were given the invite on check in. We had a hard time booking a la carte restaurants. The only restaurant I was able to book during our 7 day stay was the Octopus. Food and service was excellent. One thing that was a constant problem was changing the beach towels. We were able to change them only twice and it was so frustrating because every time we went there they wouldn't have any. We used our regular towels a couple of days. Otherwise the resort is small, but clean and well kept. We would go back.

Was a great hotel, pretty relaxing. Entertainers are very nice and fun. Special shoutout to Carlos the best entertainer at the hotel!

Hi, I am here right now. Greatly impressed. Though resort is oldish and rooms are small but beds are very comfortable and air conditioner working good. I don’t mind old furniture as the rest of the experience is just amazing. Very nice personal and service is just impeccable, enough and not too much. Especially I noticed a hard working guys serving in buffet. Resort is very well maintained, clean, very clean buffet. Beach is two steps away and gorgeous!!!! No seaweeds. And food… I really didn’t expect it. Chefs are just great. I ate such a good food only in Turkey in all inclusive, no where else . I am here with my daughter and we feel very safe. Overall it feels like home. Big thank you to the managers and all personal of this resort. I still here but want to return1 for more:).
